I have a completely serious question for Sysblr.
I’ve made a side account for this specific purpose because I feel like some people could take it badly but I am asking this from an entirely objective, unbiased perspective. Really, I just want to see the community’s response.
So, here’s the long awaited question:
What do you think about newly split alters that somehow immediately know to turn to discord for new alter help, how to use the pluralkit bot, and know exactly what needs censoring and tone tags in that server?
The reason I’m curious is because I was having a discussion with someone that I met recently who has strong opinions on the matter, and topics related to OSDDID and dissociative disorders in general is one of my special interests (I am autistic).
From my personal experience, our new splits have never had innate knowledge of discord or how to use it, especially not what servers or censoring looks like.
However, and this is why I’m asking objectively, my belief is that it is not my business to care about someone’s status as a system (though, I don’t support systems who claim to be endogenic, but that’s just me). So I don’t think much of it and continue with my day.
If you’ve read this far, thanks. Let me know your thoughts either in this poll or replies/tags.
What are your thoughts on the previously mentioned topic?
I feel as if I don’t have a right to question it.
I don’t really care.
It doesn’t seem feasible for every new alter to instantly have that knowledge.
It makes sense, their head mates would be able to tell/help them.
I have no idea what you’re asking
