Avery smiles back as she shakes his hand, "its nice to mee you too, Sienna," mostly he was glad she seemed open to at least get to know him, he knew he made a fool of himself, and honestly now he was hoping some of his nerves would come down. "I shouldn't had let my mask down, huh?" he jokes, shaking his head, Avery smiles at her, he doesn't take it the hard way, it's fine he knows how he's coming off and to be honest he doesn't care, because this is it, this is him. "I just figured there was no point coming in here with silly pick up lines, trying to be someone I'm not, besides, even if I did try that, it was probably not gonna work," he laughs, he knew how bad he was at this, there was no hiding it. "I don't, but I'm not sure how to explain it to be honest?"
"Okay, I guess I can start by saying I'm trying to get out of my comfort zone..." which was not a lie, despite there being more, "And--this is gonna sound very strange to you, I promise you I'm not a weirdo, just--I also don't want you to--feel sorry for me," as much as he had been feeling really in the need fot some...company he still didn't want to be anyone's pitty fuck, "Some stuff happened, and it changed me, I--been trough some trauma and it's truning into someone different, and yes, I'm awear there's a lot of shit I need to work on, a lot more to worry about other than sex but--I don't know, it--woke up something in me--I guess in more ways than one," he feels himself blushing a little bit at that, "Just--huh never been a very sexual person but ever since it happened I've been a little--you know?" he takes a sip from his drink as he lets her process all that he just said, "And I'll tell you, what all of this means, if you wanna walk away, no harm done," he smiles at her, he truly wouldn't blame her if she did, he understood how weird this all seemed, "But--huh I'm assuming you know about the--different kind of people who live here?"
"Oh definitely not, you're playing all your cards." She joked, happy that he didn't take offense to her teasing. "Honestly it's admirable, I wish more people took that approach. Just being yourself gets you a lot farther than anything. Don't tell anyone but we can always tell when you're lying." Sienna laughed while sipping her drink. "Try me." Sienna was a good listener usually and plus she had nothing but time so why not?
She listened fully, and nodded during it. "I know my fair share of trauma, people tend to handle it in many different ways. And I've done my fair share of this." Sienna gestured vaguely in between them. She mostly grew out of it once she saw how her older brother had to take care of the family, but every once in a while she liked to act out in a way where she wouldn't have to think too much in the morning. "Well so far you're making a great case for yourself. For the record." She tilted her head and smiled slightly, giving a slight nod. "I do yes. I've lived here practically my entire life. I'm no stranger to the people that come in and out of here."
