Sienna nodded, clapping slowly. “That was great, so clever. But I’ll leave, sure. I think I might be losing brain cells hanging around you,” she said as she turned and headed in the opposite direction, running her other hand over her bruising knuckles.

Sienna playfully rolled her eyes. “Fine, I promise not to kill you. It wouldn’t be a fair fight. You might need some backup.”

“I don’t know about you but I’d rather listen to other things in Guam than some college kid’s music,” Noah pointed out with a small grin on his lips as he looked at the other with joking eyes before watching his headphone drop onto the table in front of him. “What – you don’t listen to music while you study? Now, that’s a little weird.”
“It was an expression,” Sienna said, narrowing her eyes slightly. “How are you supposed to focus on the music and your work at the same time? If I listen to music, it mixes into what I’m doing, especially if I’m writing something. Basically, if I listen to music, nothing gets done and I don’t really have time to waste,” she explained. “Why do you listen to music?”

“There’s nothing wrong with Disney. But it’s true, Si.” Karlyn insisted. “It’s not letting them win – it’s being the bigger person.”
“Then I prefer to be the smaller person.”

Sienna shrugged as he continued his rampage, laughing as the marker hit her. “Keep screaming, please. I’m really tempted to see if that vein in your forehead is going to pop.”

Sienna had promised her mom after the brawl on the playground in elementary school she’d do her best to control her temper, but she decided to call the moment an exception. He’d managed to push every single one of her buttons, and the only indication that she’d actually hit him was the newfound ache in her knuckles and the shock on his face. Sienna gave him a nod before she turned back down the hallway, Bad Blood still playing on his phone.
Noah just wanted to pass the rude girl but then suddenly he got punched in the face. His ears began to buzz. Noah touched his nose and he found blood coming out of his nose. “What the fuck. My nose?!?” He yelled at the girl. “Come back and apologize.” Noah screamed aggresively. “No one touches my face and gets away with it!!!”
"Looks like I already did," she shrugged, turning back momentarily. "You might want to get some ice on that, by the way."
