"I don't care. Just because I don't like your kind, doesn't mean I can't stand it. Im not a guardian, so I don't care."

"All the more reason for me to keep on with it!" Evelina laughed, leaning down in front of the girl and resting her hands on her knees. "Do you wanna keep being a whiny baby? I’ll listen. I promise."

[The younger giggled, rocking back, then propelling herself forward] I won’t, but I am good at talking so I can keep doing that. I’m from Pennsylvania, where are you from?

James chuckled and played the guitar (which he had stolen from the music room) a little softer before stopping. “How’s it going? I haven’t seen you for a bit.”

Sierra smiled as he continued playing. "I stayed away from everyone for a little while, but Im okay. How have you been James?"

I was going to say that maybe I should start charging, but I think that would make me a drug dealer and that’s really not good. I’ll be more careful. Promise. Is there anything I can do to help?

Well that’s just preposterous! I think you should have been told many times before because not everybody has eyes like yours. Like me, for example! — I have blue eyes too but yours are all big and sparkly-like. Did you ever notice that about your eyes?

Yeah, but it’s funny how the two of them coincide. I could get you some water if you want? I also have pain medication for my arm?

I did actually, but I think your eyes are beautiful. They are soft...which sounds weird but I dont know. They suit you.

Nah, Ill be alright. They don't last too too long. Don't go offering you medication to people, Hayden, they'll take it all from you.

I can’t control what I do when I’m not me, I can only watch." or hide he thought. ”Just like some angels go against heaven, some of us demons go against hell. There’s a couple here that are fighting the good fight, you might meet them someday.”

"So I guess I can't really yell at you for what other you did to me then." She sighed. Strange things like that were things that the little blonde had learned to accept after she died and came back. After all, the supernatural was more present in the asylum than the normal. "I hope so."

James pursed his lips and looked down. “I know, I know. And his name is David by the way. He’s actually a friend.” He rubbed the back of his neck. “Of course I regret it! It wasn’t me! I…” He sighed. “Nevermind. It’s hard to explain. Let’s just say I’m not like other demons. We aren’t all the same, you know. Some of us try and do good, even if it doesn’t help much…”

"Thats his here name, but I know who he really is. He's the Knave." She nodded before widening her eyes. "Strange friends he keeps." Sierra raised her eye brows when he said it wasn't him. "No no finish. If it wasn't you who was it?" It was an honest interest, she wanted to know. "I didn't mean it like that, like youre all the same. It's just all I've ever encountered."
