I’m honestly surprised you don’t have one yet. I’m sure it’ll all come in time. I have an honorary damehood, but there’s no reason to call me ‘Dame’, Thomas. Making it harder for you? Is that what you think I would enjoy? You’re not very wrong there, darling, but I doubt that by making it harder for you, I wouldn’t end up making it harder for myself, too. Well, that’s a bit awkward, isn’t it? At least you’ve got a fun story out of it. I’ve heard the term going around, something like ‘celebrity passes’? Maybe you simply were hers and her husband would’ve actually been quite friendly towards you? You never know. It’s nice to see you again, Timothée. It’s been awhile. Couple of years, at least. I’m sorry I didn’t have loads of time to have a proper chat with you. How are you doing? Aside from the disastrous dates, that is. Just got the first draft of the script for the Call Me By Your Name Sequel. Reading it took me back to that summer in Italy when we shot the first movie. I had such a blast with Timothee during the filming of that movie. He became my very best friend on the set of that movie. Luca became my favorite director to work with. The name’s Armie and do you have a favorite project, past or present that you’ve worked on?

I’ve heard rumours about the second film, but I had no idea it was actually in works. I’m honestly thrilled to hear that, because I absolutely fell in love with the original as soon as I saw it. Timothée absolutely astounded me with all the talent he could fit inside him and both of you just left me speechless, honestly. I loved so many projects that I adored, but if I had to single out one as my favourite, it would have to be fall of 2004 and those couple of months spent in Morocco while filming Alexander. Not only was it a beautiful place, it holds quite a few treasured memories until this very day. I’m Angie. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Armie. I’m looking forward to see more from you.

I think it’s more that I just have a different perspective of that time in my life now, looking back - I think my response would’ve been very different when I was living it. Trust me, I’ve thought about it plenty. But she’s way more busy than I ever am - right now she’s working on one TV show, promoting another, and finding time to do a bunch of charity work in between. That’s why I wait for her to tell me when she can fit me in. 

I’ve been on the same boat, darling. I know exactly what you mean. All well that ends well, right? Although it makes it all sound like it’s already the end, which is obviously not. Aren’t you just a sweetheart. I was busy being a full time mother running in and out of the court sessions half the world away. David, if I managed to squeeze you in for a quick weekend getaway, I’m sure Gilly will have no trouble with planning a couple days off to see you, too.

Well you asked for my input! If you didn’t think worst ought to be an option, you ought not to have suggested it to me, darling. Perhaps it is best to wait to make that final and very important decision of yours.

Thomas HIddleton, Sir... you just love making it harder for me, don’t you? I can’t say I don’t enjoy it, at least a little bit. Some people might warn you that waiting is one of my least favourite things in the world, but I have a feeling that some things are worth waiting for a little longer.

I don’t know if I’d have called it shitty per se - it wasn’t great, but it was necessary stuff, you know? I’ve thought about it, definitely. But I also don’t wanna impose, because she’s always got lots of things going on. I just kinda wait around for her to invite me to do something. I think she knows by now that I’ll always say yes when I can. 

Many different people have very different meanings behind the word ‘shitty’. At least it’s good to hear that it’s all better now, you know? That’s what matters. Well, have you given a thought to an idea that probably she’s there, across the Atlantic, waiting for you to show some initiative? As fun as it can be, sometimes we, too, feel tired making the first moves all the time.

The worst? Are you sure? Because I was actually leaning towards the other side more. It’s a shame. Here I thought that my female intuition was never wrong. I guess I’ll have to make the final decision once I finally get to properly see you in your natural habitat.

Yeah, it was so weird because we went about a year without talking much, and I think we both went through quite a lot in our individual lives, so when we reunited, it was like all the little things that had bothered us before just didn’t matter anymore. Now all that’s left is just pure love and admiration. Just a shame she spends most of her time on the other side of the Atlantic. 

Hah. The best way to get over some shitty situation is to get yourself involved with something even more shitty. At least, that’s how I’ve always seen it. Not really the most healthy of ways to deal with things, and I would certainly not recommend doing it on purpose, but when it happens on its own... you know, you can’t really control it. Well, why don’t you show your face more often, then? Your kids are all grown up now, aren’t they? Nothing’s really holding you back from spending more time this side of the pond.

That’s alright, I’m not that right now either, so you take your time. The city will always be ready to welcome you, I can be sure of that. It didn’t start out as my intention, but it definitely became it.

We spent so much time together during the original run of the show, we just got on each other’s nerves, more than anything. By that I mean I was a moody so-and-so, and it bothered me that she was just pure light all the damn time. Of course now, that’s one of the things I love most about her. I think I can kindly accept you being proud instead of impressed. Thank you, Angel. 

Maybe that’s the ticket, you know? You get on each other’s nerves to the point when you don’t even want to look at each other ever again... and then, you take that one step over the edge and everything else with that person just makes sense and it’s a bond stronger than it could ever be. I’m glad you found that person, David. You’re welcome. My pride is immeasurable.

If you are in a bad mood, do you prefer to be left alone or have someone to cheer you up?

It really depends on what kind of ‘bad mood’ we’re talking about here. If I’m angry, I do prefer to be left alone. If it’s sadness that got me in a bit of a mood, then I think I would prefer to have someone with me for a bit of that emotional support ─ be it Jaime, my cubs, or a few close friends.

if you could transform into any animal, what animal would you be?

I suppose it would have to be any of the big cats. A cheetah or a black jaguar are at the top of the list, but knowing my affection towards family, I don’t think I could handle solitary life, even as an animal. A lioness─ now that would be quite something.

I don’t know, we started off well, had a rocky few years in the middle there, and the past few years we’ve been as close as ever, so I must have done something right. Yeah, I don’t just hook up with somebody and pretend they don’t exist the next day. I at least have the maturity to call them again, now. Are you impressed?

That’s what happens. It’s life, you know? You get along, you have a rocky road for a little while... and then it’s either all gone to shit or you’re stronger than ever. Glad to hear you’ve got the better slice. Yeah, I suppose it’s better late than never. We all learn from our mistakes. Colour me... maybe not impressed, but proud of you for cleaning up after yourself.

Either that, or you managed to brainwash her enough for her to like you. I mean, working for so long with one person will do that to you. You have changed for the better, I’ve got to give you that. Not by a lot, but you’re not that much of an ass anymore, so that’s something.

Maybe it’s because she’s the only woman I consistently keep in my life. I push all the others away sooner or later. 

If I didn’t know better, I’d say she has a thing for men that can be a little bit of an asshole from time to time. As for pushing all the others away─ yeah, don’t I know that.
