How does Turquoise know Cat’s Eye?

Cat's Eye got distracted by something, and, not watching where she was going, fell off a cliff. Turquoise happened to be nearby and heard her screaming, so she rushed in and saved Cat's Eye before she could hit a rock and crack her gem or something. The two have been friends ever since.

Who are Cat's Eye's friends?

Prasiolite, Tiger's Eye, Turquoise, and a handful of gems in Little Homeworld.

What's Cat's eye doing right now?

Hanging out in Little Homeworld, for the most part. She goes back to the Beta Kindergarten sometimes to spend time with Prasiolite and Tiger's Eye, but she's made plenty of friends in Little Homeworld, too. Who she likes hanging out with!

Though, Little Homeworld isn't always pleasant - despite the Crystal Gems' best efforts, it takes a lot for Homeworld gems to come over their prejudices against defective gems. She tries to shrug them off, but they do hurt sometimes, something she doesn't confess openly.

Anyone have any suggestions for new gems I could draw?

Only rule is that it can’t be a gem type that’s in canon. You can look through my art to see which gems I’ve done already.

Even though you said we can’t ask for existing gem types. Can we ask for gems that were referenced, but never seen?

Yep. As long as they don't have a design, you can ask for it.

Interesting thing about Azumar is they might be the few gems who can actually swim

Indeed. Since gems automatically adjust to the gravity of the planet they're on + they don't need to breathe, they have no need to swim (we've never seen a gem swim in the show either iirc, they've always walked on the sea floor). Which makes Azumar's abilities quite intriguing.

Congrats, you've given me a gem so obscure that not even Wikipedia has a page on it.

Anyways, here's Azumar. Azumars are soldiers specifically meant for underwater combat. They are able to change their weight, allowing them to swim through the water and not sink to the bottom like every other gem. When not battling, they are used as guards.

Can you draw Thulite and Aegerine?

Thulites handle the Diamonds' essence, sorting it after it has been collected and filling injectors with it. They're known to be very upbeat gems, happily chatting away. They seldom appear in public, so not many gems outside of the kindergartens know of their existence.

Aegirines retrieve gem shards. They are extremely fast, allowing them to go in and out of battle without getting injured. Though, they more commonly retrieve shards from workplace accidents, since gems won't be battling every single day. Their senses are rather acute, being able to detect other gems around them without looking. They can also tell what state a gem is in, allowing them to locate gem shards quite easily.
