Back on my frilly travel BS...joined by @silk-sutures on a Roman adventure despite the fact our initial reason for going there was cancelled.

It was really cool we managed to go to an EGL meet-up in Rome, anyway. The comm were so welcoming to us as international guests - there was so much delicious food at the picnic, and they were really accommodating to dietary needs we had! The meetup took place in the gorgeous gardens of a massive villa that I believe once belonged to Mussolini?!

One of the comm members was celebrating a birthday, so there was even an Usakumya cake to celebrate that 🥺🥺🥺
