eyes like a cat’s inspect the small room — chills creep up her back as she stares at the slightly opened door, gaze keeping on it every so often just to make sure that it stays even the slightest bit ajar — she inches her way closer, attempting to approach slowly. nerves prick at her skin as she wrings her hands together, staring at the empty chair that sits a few feet away from the other. tentatively, she moves to sit in the chair, temporarily forgetting to ask if anyone had been sitting there (her manners escape her quite often). her gaze flickers between the door and the man, a subconscious effort in calming herself in the current situation.

“   — uh… excuse me,” she begins, leaning forward in the slightest to get a better look at the other, eyes widening. “bucky … barnes, right? sorry, like, okay, i don’t mean to — like, intrude or whatever. i just…” her hands wave slightly, desperately trying to spit some words out. despite her constant need to talk, talk, talk, she finds herself at a loss and grasping for any sort of words in front of the bucky barnes (only the coolest outlaw on the streets). “i’m …  a fan i guess. i mean, you’re just. cool. a cool guy.”
