Two souls, intertwined, belonging together as one, meant to be.
The passionate, burdened with the guilt, the shame and pain of having disappointed.. having failed.
Sworn to protect a.. no, her kingdom and yet not having won, she should have.

The one full of care, the one, who knows how fleeting the happiness of cookies is, the one who understands her, the only cookie who does, through the guilt, the shame and pain.
she reassures the fallen hero her lover through it all, the one who gave her a place to rest, she, the angel who loved her, despite it all.

That sweet, sweet sugary voice, oh how calming it is, the melody of love, of reassurance while the hero her lover rests leaned against her beautiful body, how calming it just was, the priestess’ hand softly caressing the head of the other
“My sweet, you can rest, you are allowed happiness too, my dear”
And the Angel was right, she was safe in the garden of delights, of peace and happiness, there was nothing else she could have wished for in this moment.
A quiet, serene moment with her lover was all it took for the voice to quiet, to leave and drown in the sea of light that the keeper of this paradise had shown to her, had gifted her.
