Little comic about middle school/early hs Perirep and Peri skipping school!!
The background is basically just that Irep noticed Peri wasn't at school, and he's ALWAYS at school, so he stops by his house after class to see why his other half has skipped 🙂↕️
I hc Peri as transmasc, but he still likes to wear traditionally feminine clothing from time to time, so these doodles kind of explore what happens when he faces judgment from his peers :[

To get a little more into my thoughts on this hc, Peri fully identifies as male after transitioning sometime in elementary school me thinks!! But he still does enjoy wearing what his peers often call "girl clothes." He knows that clothes shouldn't define who you are, but their comments make him quite dysphoric, as they suggest that he's trying to "be a girl again", but he just wants to dress the way he wants!! Let him live!!!
He dosen’t expect Irep to understand this because he's never presented himself as Angel regularly outside of that one episode!! To preface, I hc Irep as genderfluid!! For the most part he dresses more masculine, but becomes more comfortable dressing more feminine as he gets older, using the name Angel whenever he does. But at the time that these doodles take place, he's...not so comfy expressing himself
He fears judgment from his peers, even if he deems them lower than himself. More than that, he's slightly terrifed of what Peri might think. (Despite him being the one of the people who would support him the most..this guy needs to lock in😪) This explains the tiny doodle on the last panel (I guess??)

Perry- transgender! Perry was born a girl, but changed his name and gender presentation around eight years old to feel more comfortable in his identity!
Iris/ Angel: genderfluid! Iris considers himself both male and female, choosing to go by “Angel” whenever dressed femininely
Sammy: non-binary! Sammy uses they/them pronouns, and doesn’t consider themself a boy or a girl- they’re just Sammy, a secret third thing!
Ved: agender! Will respond to any pronouns, but most commonly referrs to itself as he/it- frankly he’s not sure what yall are on about, Ved’s got dimensions to research!
Hazel: bisexual! This one is basically canon tbh
Dev: asexual! While dev IS grossed out by being touched by anyone, he is NOT aromantic and has been known to experience crushes/ romantic feelings- cringe though he finds them
Winn: pansexual and nonbinary! Winn uses they/them pronouns, and has dated all kinds of faires in the past
Carlo: Lesbian! While yes, Carlo has transitioned to be masc-presenting, he still doesn’t really consider himself “male” exclusively, still loving to occasionally “cross dress” and finding comfort in continuing to identify with the label he felt most connected to in his youth!

First off, I've been thinking about Irep WAYYY more than I usually do🥹✌🏾 I'm not sure if it's obvious, but I came into the ANW fandom with Peri as my new fav!! (Cosmo was -and still kinda is- my fav from 2022) But I feel like my preference for him affects how I characterize Perirep, so I've been working on developing my own headcannons for Irep and just kinda analyzing his character as a whole! (If this makes sense lol)
So this doodle is really kinda focusing on how "on again, off again" these two are!! I wanted to emphasize Irep's inability to be emotional in Peri's presence, but still truly does feel when it comes to their relationship. (This sketch was maybe after a breakup or fight? Idk) Whenever they fight or wtv and they separate for a certain amount of time, he's lowkey a mess😖 I do think Peri would feel the same, but the way in which Irep expresses his distress is way more extreme yk? Especially since he's cruel by nature, and the fact that someone that's not an anti fairy loves him means more than he could ever express. Knowing he's an anti-fairy, Peri still chooses to show him empathy and kindness, which is more than any other person thinks antis deserve. So when they have issues, Irep obsesses over the possibility of loosing that. Does any of this make sense?? Lmaoo im just rambling atp🙈
Sooo as a result, Irep eventually develops a dependency on Peri and the love he shows him, cuz who else is gonna show him that kind of love, right? (AUGH he makes me so ill...I also think this is why he's kinda pestering Peri in ANW!!! Trying to get closer to him again...UGHH someone needs to hug him neowww)
Plus, I do think Peri can say especially mean things whenever they do fight, which hurts Irep a BUNCH, but in the moment he refuses to show that it hurt him at all. (Probably resulting in him saying something equally as hurtful) Yet, they always find their way back to each other, hence their highkey toxic codependency.
In short, Irep's dependency on the love that Peri shows him is one of the many reasons they're so on and off!! (Peri is definitely also HELLA dependent, but this post would be too long if I went into that lol) This is also the reason I chose the quote from AMIW!! These to are always clashing together, like how waves meet the sand (land and water are also opposites too...hmmm), and then reeling away from each other in the next second. But the waves always come back and meet the sand again, hence why their love is "like a tidal wave."🙂↕️ Ooo entering my poet eraaa

Fairies live in a Region called the trinity, up in the nebula. The trinity contains the three courts. The court of apathy (pixies) the court of misfortune (imps/anti fairies) and the court of glee (fairies)
The trinity originated as a group of four fey subspecies, fairies, imps, pixies and wisps. That dejected from the vast. A sort of lawless land that relys on naturally generated magic. The four discoverd that earth and its inhabitants was essentially a giant fuel storage of magic, they built their society on earth sourced magic. This magic being human emotion

The court of glee and its domain, fairy world/cloud nine, runs on joy/luck. They found that the type of humans that Held the most joy, were children. Hense, they began godparenting.
The way it works is they pick a miserable child and grant wishes, the joy it brings the child is shared with the court. They wrote da rules too ensure no one dies or gets arrested
However the realized that just solving every childs Problems, just making them happy permanently and then leaving. Wasnt that profitable. They realized that if you keep a child miserable, you can keep it in the system longer, and the joy you bring it is trippled. Which is why a new rule was added, stating that a fairy could not stop the main source of a childs misery. The ethics of this are still a Debated topic...
Glee has ownership of this ancient artifact dubbed "da rules" which was originally used by deities too create things. The way it works is that whatever is written on the Pages, manifests in real life. The court of glee uses it too dictate its law. When a rule is written the people apart of the court are phisically unable too disobey it. Which raises some scary questions on autonomy... the baby ban Was one of these rules, which after its placement caused thousands of fairies leave the court.

The baby ban did have its economical positives though! Aftewards more and more people who really wanted kids became godparent too fill the void. Which in turn generated more joy. This is great until you remember that the number one rule of godparenting is too not get attached too your godchildren. They had too start a therapy Service for the godparents..💔
Although the ban initially helped get more people too Join the godparents.. it also permanently lost them several members. Many of them dejected and the Population can hardly recover due too the no babies thing.. jorgen and the council have been doing everything in their Power too get more people too join! Which is not always ethical and often comes off as very desperate.
Fairy world is the absolute nicest place too visit. The place is like a huge tourist attraction. Theres So many little Shops and Restaurants everywhere. Street preformers in every public space. They host tours and and have huge luxery hotels. Museums, theme parks, night Clubs, beaches, you name it. Unfortunately, after a certain buck toothed bastard lost his fairies. Godchildren are no longer allowed into fairy world, beacause they worry the place is "addictive" too human children (complete bullshit btw)
The court of glee has the second largest amount of dejectors. (Unless you count the fourth court which litearally disbanded)
However fairy world has the largest amount of people moving in! Angels, Nymphs, elves, even some wisps would move too cloud nine and even join the court of glee, some even became godparents!!! (Is the tourism actually just a secret plot too get more godparents? In universe Conspiracy theories are really fun to come up with)
Btw, beaches, they purely exist for tourism. Fairies dislike water, therefore there are Alternative ways too clean yourself. Milk baths, dust Baths, just fuckin' poofing the dirt off, getting waterboarded etc.
Fairy world is run by the council and a representative "Keeper of da rules" aka jorgen. The keeper is almost always a member of the von strangle line as they are direct descendants of the fairies that founded the court.
Fairy worlds culture mimics human culture a lot opposed too the other courts. Their arcitecture, accents, forms, fashion, Media, all stem from humans. They didint even have genders before they saw humans being all serious about it. They have a bit of a reputation over all this.. the other two courts dont really fw it.
When fairies die they turn into Stars, therefore Stars are considerd symbols of protection in glee. "They're watching over us."

The court of glee has a mascot called fidgie (pictured above) who is meant too be "the Ideal fairy" they apear in comics, cartoons, merch, newspapers, propaganda, instruction Manuals, etc etc. They look a lot like peri for a reason trust me.
The court of misfortune and its domain, imp World/the thundercloud, runs on fear/bad luck. Their biggest source of this Power is earth. Since most humans are unable too see imps/anti fairies, their much easier too mess with.
Anti fairys are renamed imps in my au, i dont think they'd be very keen on being seen as simply the evil versions of fairies. Its a bit dehumanizing
Misfortune is a rather chaotic court. If they managed too get along with their peers maybe they'd be more suscessful. Most of their time is spent solving petty infighting that noone cares about.
The government in devided in four sections. The council, who run everything. The house of the full moon which is in charge of agriculture and arcitecture, the house of the waning moon which is finance and civil Union, and the house of the crescent moon is foreign affairs and millitary. (Venus and Julius aka aw and ac are high Ranking in the crescent moon)
Unlike its counterpart, misfortune is not human in anything at all. The aritecture is large and Confusing, theres no doors or stairs beacause they can fly and teleport from place too place, there are no Paths or bridges beacause most Travel is done through air. Most areas on cloud 13 are either freezing cold or burning hot. The Terrain is uneven and packed with streams of boiling hot water. short, dont bring your Kid here, they will die immideatly.
There also is a sort of social Standard about shapeshifting "its improper too do unless neccesary". A lot of social constructs in misfortune is that anything that fairies do=bad. "Enternalized fairyphobia" lmao
Opposed too that, the council of misfortune has begun too sort of envy the control that the court of apathy seems too have over its members. They've tried too replicate it often with uhh.. mixed results (it was giving cult)
Also they dont have gender beacause they reproduce asexually and gender is a human made concept. everyone is nonbinary!!!!!!
they also have a sort of mascot? His Name is Saturn He was only created beacause the imps wanted too have a fidgie counterpart. So hes like "the Ideal imp" Hes hes not used much however
Opposed too how fairies like too give their kids either human or pun names. most imps have these long goofy ass names that would give any godkid a stroke trying too pronounce. They do mostly use Nicknames which are space themed beacause of just how dumb their names Sound "vesperusignavus" gtfo out bro
Due too the insanely dangerous Terrain on the thundercloud. Travel is done almost exklusively through air. They just have flying boats basically.

The court of apathy and its domain pixie World runs on apathy, so the Lack of emotion from humans. They are the most powerful and advanced court.
There isint much knowb about apathy. They tend too be very secretive abou their inner workings. What their most known for is building technology, their insane uniformity, and their proxies. There are many misconceptions.
"Pixie proxies" are sort of like fairy godchildren? Pixies target spesific humans, in order too generate apathy. Like flappy Bob and dale.
Apathy is similarily non human. The arcitecture consists of massive iron shapes that you unable too enter without teleportation. Pixies sleep tend too stay in Apartment buldings. Which are just like.. giant cubes. Their Offices and other importand places are cone shaped. Their agriculture is underground. They are also genderless.
However you are able too bring humans too pixie World, they have Tour guides and stuff. The climate is also very adaptable too any species
The pixies all work under one big schedule. Theres three departments, they all work in shifts. When one Departement retires for the day, another starts the day. So pixie World is always working. However there is one day off, once a month. A national holiday where everyone just kinda sits around. The shifts can vary for pixies unable too uphold this schedule for reasons like ilness or dissability.
All the pixies look identical too a non pixie. However pixies themselves can distinguish eachother with ease through the tiniest Details. Like birthmarks or tiny differences of hair length. However they look so mundane they can just hang out on earth fully unchanged without being noticed.
Unlike in misfortune, theres no real social Standard against shapeshifting. You can run around as a Manifestation of cosmic horror and noone would care as long as you get your work done. Its just that everyone unanimously agrees that it'd fuck up the asethetic so noone except like a couple people shapeshift.
The head pixie is actually one of the oldest living fey active from when the courts were first founded. He was there through everything, has been in power longer than some peoples life spans. Man is tired.
From an outsiders perspecrive apathy gives the impression of some sort of dystopia. Noone would wanna live there. However apathy is probably the only court that isint corrupt or dysfunctional? Everyone agrees on everything, everyone is fed and Happy. The working conditions are fitted to make sure everyone is doing well. The whole brutalist dystopian theme with everyone looking and sounding the same is litearally just an asethetic choice.
If you were too be unproductive, or voice disdain for the System, or anything of the sort... theres a common belief by the other courts that the pixies get killed and replaced but in reality they just do a wellfare Check and work too adjust things too the individual's liking. The reason this is misinterpreted is beacause apathy Refers too this as a punishment. Its really not they just like their evil corperate vibe.
Their really ethical... Apathy might be the only court that really cares about all of their members. The only time there was infighting was when the pixies discoverd alchahol during an Event in fairy world. It was a whole thing dude...
Contrary too popular belief, pixies are all inviduals. They have Humor and emotion and all that, they just tend too express themselves differently... or the exact same.
Would apathy's System work for the other fey? Absolutely not. Its been tailored spesifically for the pixies which is why they have such a Reputation. Their viewed as north Korea when really they're just vibing.

Dejectors!
Every court has dejectors, fey who decide too leave the court for one reason or another. Misfortune has the largest amount of dejectors due too its chaotic nature and just Overall shitty living conditions. Glee has loads of dejectors due too its strict nature. Apathy has next too none.
Dejectors usually spread out across the galaxy. Usually back into the vast, Eros Island is the most popular place too settle.
There was a fourth court, it never had an official name. Wisps are essentially anti pixies, fun loving very chaotic etc. They're court disbanded very shortly after being founded. All of them just kind of agreed the the politics of everything was lame and petty so they just abandond their cloud, which eventually dissapeared entirely. The wisps now live in small groups across the galaxy, just kinda hanging out.
Obviously following the storyline of "The One That Got Away" by Katy Perry!!

They'd been kind of talking more by the end of the school year, and then just kinda fall into a summer fling-type situation that is slightly more complex if that makes sense?? And since they're kinda just giddy and having fun messing around or wtv, when Peri kinda starts to take life more seriously when he starts college, he starts to want different things out of their relationship that Irep isn't like...focused on yet?? Hes not taking shit as serious as Peri, and eventually they fall out 🥹
This really leads Irep to feel like he fumbled cuz he didn't take them as seriously as he should have, but he doesn't let anyone else know this, he's just kinda....marinating in it....😙
Uhhh yeah!!! And I'd like to make a full animatic to flesh the idea out, but yall know me...can't stick to one project for SHIT🙈

To be completely honest, I hadn't reallyyy thought too much about who the main 3 Heather's would be, so this ask actually got me thinking! I was playing around with multiple ideas for them since we dont really get to see much of Poofs other classmates in the original series, so I wasn't really sure what to do. I definitely knew I'd have Goldie be part of the trio, but I was sorta lost on the other two. Then, I had an idea and kind of ended up making my own characters to fit the au!! (Or should I say...fankids...?)
