I have many crackship agendas, especially with Shinobu, this is one of them. I'm smashing my two favorite bitches together like action figures and nobody can stop me. bloodfiend (she's the princess of the parade, which, although extremely depressing, is still a hugely important role and one that a lot of people look up to)

docent (her art is literally unique in her field, beautiful and captivating even to her critics)

liu (she's a section director)

rosespanner (she's the office rep)

it's definitely not the majority of them, but i think it is interesting since the rest of her ids are largely in the category of "ordinary jobber"

Fucking WEIRD ass tangent for me to go off on - but I think it's a tangent worth going on about. . . I don't think people appreciate the Peter Parker of it all when it comes to Shinobu, and how theoretically if there were to be any cross-over between KnY and Marvel it'd be a GREAVIOUS miscast to have anyone BUT Shinobu be the Peter Parker Analogue. I mean hello? Look at 'em - Early Peter, Pre-Kanae's death Shinobu, easily annoyed, petulant angry nerds who'd get into fist fights at the drop of the hat and then get shoved squarely into lockers. And then afterwards go read Ayn Rand after they brush off their friends who're worried about their well being. Kanae also fits nicely into the Uncle Ben archetype as well, having the cleanest 1-to-1. . . well if we're talking about the Raimi movies and not the actual comics - where Ben gets shot off screen. With the girls fitting nicely into that aunt may like Archetype that needs to be protected but also regularly gives her a nice reality check. The ribbing tendencies, the quipping, how the death of a loved one kicks them into gear and slowly shifts them into a better person even if they themselves are stuck in this never ending spiral of self-loathing? THE BUUUUGGGGGGSSSSSSSSSSSS! THEY'RE BOTH BUUUUGGGGSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Although. . . I think instead of Kanae being a strict uncle ben Analogue she'd be more like MCU Aunt May? You know if I'm throwing shit at the wall here (which I am.) So she'd for sure be around LONGER! I of course have my own ideas, but those are kind of fucking bonkers and do nothing to help the comparisons. Although I think the girls would drive a lot of the personal drama? For one reason or another. Anyway, if a cross-over ever happens (it most certinally will not), and I see anyone but Shinobu wearing that Spider costume, I'm going to write a very well worded letter to whichever editorial team needs to be written to. Also Shinobu having an MC2-like End as her time as Spider-Woman would be really nice and I'd like that a lot - completely unrelated but go read Spider-Girl, genuinely FANTASTIC comicbook, all time goat.

Grind up some Ishmael crates and get an Ish that can gather aggro REAL well. I personally recommend Zweishmael, because she's specifically resistant to blunt, which is all Ricardo and his goons DO? Just click defend on her EVERY round and you're living. Still a difficult fight, but it makes it so much more tolerable.

You know, I really am kind of surprised TamaShino isn't a more popular ship. I mean - obviously it's not gonna be AS popular because it's not an mlm ship and thus given the grace of fandom god - but you'd think such saucy toxic yuri potential would be seized upon more often? Especially with the time frame? And the self-acceptance from both of them that they're going to die no matter what? I mean c'mon, I need Shinobu to have her nails digging at Tamayo's neck, I need it to sink in that for the first time in her life she's feeling any sort of remorse for hurting a demon - only for Tamayo to snatch those wrists, moments away from pulling away and wheezing out something about how she deserves this - and she WANTS Shinobu to hurt her, that she of all people has all the right in the world to make her suffer. I want them to hurt each other, but then heal each other - and then hurt each other some more - because neither of them really had the chance to vent all of these deep deep issues out in healthy ways.

Trying to find wlw ship fics on ao3 SUCKS because it’s always a background ship in a mlm centered fic. Everyone loves the wlw ship, but not as much as the mlm one, so they’re just sidelined. “Oh, but most women in media aren’t written well!” So? Game development story time:

So in Underspace I've got tradeable commodities that are usually fairly basic: Buy low, sell high, most are just things like gold ore or consumer goods or xenopornography and typical stuff like that.

Some commodities are special: perishable goods like luxury foodstuffs or terraforming organisms that decay over time.

There's also fragile and volatile commodities: goods that if you take direct damage to your ship will either cause said commodity to be destroyed, or it will violently detonate doing tons of damage to you.

Now here's the problem... The code works like this:

You take damage, and then the game makes that cargo explode and do damage to you.

Which means you've taken damage so the game makes the cargo explode and do damage to you.

Which means you've taken damage so the game makes the cargo explode and do damage to you.

Which means you've taken damage so the game makes the cargo explode and do damage to you.

Which means you've taken damage so the game makes the cargo explode and do damage to you.
