Don't think this is really the right place, but not sure how else to let people know and you've posted about fanfiction.lol before. Some of fanfiction.lol's tag wranglers are minors (under 18) and the admin (brennan) is aware of this and seems to be taking 0 steps to stop them from either being tag wranglers or to restrict tags on explicit works from being immediately seen by them. Given that the site allows explicit works and explicit tags, this seems like kind of a big issue to me....

On a practical level, what exactly is going to happen?
A teenager will read the word 'cock'? A teenager will read the words 'graphic evisceration'?
Except they probably won't read the latter because fanfiction.lol will be playing by Canada's No Fun rulebook. No underage. No slasher horror as kink. BDSM is on thin ice. etc.
Like... are these 8-year-olds or 16-year-olds, dude? I frankly don't care that every 8-year-old already knows every common swearword and genitalia term and fake sex act nobody actually does that only exists on Urban Dictionary and in jokes told by said 8-year-olds anyway, but I'm assuming that Brennan wants marginally competent tag wranglers, so that would likely mean older teens whom I would never bother restricting the fiction reading habits of in the first place, much less the metadata reading habits.
I read explicit romance novels as a teenager. I read horror novels. That, to me, is both commonplace and perfectly healthy for a teen.
