I know I have been inactive for years (literally for eternity...) BUT I'm back again!! So many things happened in my life, but I missed writing down my random thoughts or just talk about books, so I hope I will be able to post at least once a month...

Opinion on trans men

my opinion on trans man is that they're all valid, no matter if they can't get into surgery to change their body in a way they want to or are able to get a surgery, I still consider them as male, if they identify like that. I believe we all should respect eachother no matter how each person identifies themselves, because we all deserve respect, unless the certain person has done something terrible, however we should still identify them correctly. I personally support every single person, unless the person has done something unforgivable.

Concrete-water-wind-sky

Everywhere you look on the wall, it's always the same: concrete, water, wind and sky. 

I just finished reading "The wall" by John Lanchester, it's a dystopian fiction and it's amazing, and as you can already guess from a dystopian fiction, it portrays our world in a near future, which we wouldn't want to have. To not spoiler you too much: It centers around the main protagonist, Joseph Kavanagh, and follows his story of survival on "the wall", not long after an environmental crisis, known as "The change".

My opinion on this book: Even thought the book was published in 2019 and I sometimes had some problems of understanding, it was a very well written novel, which shows the reader, what might happen if we don't do anything to stop or at least slow down the process of the climate change we are facing nowadays. Throughout the storyline, the reader finds out more about the wall, the characters and also gets through some plot twists/betrayals. I would be lying if I would say I didn't cry throughout the book, but you should read it on your own!!  All in one I would really recommend reading it, especially if you are fan of dystopian novels!

Also I want to apologize for my absence, lately I got really busy keeping up with stuff. However I will try to post more in the future!

what’s your favorite type of weather? and, during that time, what do you enjoy doing? :]

Thank you haha my favourite type of weather is when it's raining, not too heavy but not too light, just hearing the water drops hit against the window or walking in the rain, is truly calming.

For your other question, I enjoy reading, like a lot, I'm a book worm, piles of books are everywhere in my room, as the books don't fit anymore in the bookshelves. I also enjoy drawing and painting, writing stories, listen to music, just basic stuff, I would say.

The every years spirit

I look through the window, while putting down my cup of coffee: Like every single year, people are outside, wearing puffed coats, funny hats and just enjoying the time,which is currently happening. I start focusing on something else, not the people, but more the environment surrounding them: the streets are looking colourful, everywhere are hanging Christmas decorations and the shop windows have been coloured with snowflakes. I then notice that it's Christmas season... Again... 

Like every single year people are joyfully running through the streets, while finishing or doing their Christmas shopping, kids are playing in the snow while happily singing Christmas songs, and in every cafe or shop is now days playing Christmas songs, mostly "all I want for Christmas is you", which can get annoying after some time. 

But no matter how annoying or stressful the times can get, the spirit never leaves the people, this whole magical Christmas spirit stays the whole season and that's truly magical.

The heartstopper yearbook

I just got my heartstopper yearbook, finally after 2 weeks or so of waiting. As I went through the pages I dived into the unique world of heartstopper again, the same thing when I first started reading the pages of heartstopper, and I must admit that the yearbook is a greatly addition to my collection, not only does it shows official Art, it also includes the art of Heartstopper starting from 2013 as well as mini comics! Each page of it is well decorated and includes texts and comments by Alice Oseman. Once in a while, while going through the pages, you can find small introductions by the characters which appeared throughout the comic as well the series and there are even a few pages about how to draw the characters in Heartstopper, explained step by step! Alice Oseman also included the world of Heartstopper, which shows the reader the different important locations the comic takes place with small comments written. All in one I would recommend it to anyone who is obsessed with the whole Heartstopper universe, but also the people that enjoy it or want to fill up their collection. Going through the pages was really a beautiful experience and I'm sure I will look into this book once in a while!

Just random thoughts

It's currently raining, I can hear the water drops against my window. I love rainy weather, I don't know why but it's just really comforting. Normally I would get up, take my coat and go outside to take pictures of the rain, while other people would just try to go home as fast as possible, but today it's different. I just lay in bed and I feel like not going up at all, lately I don't have any energy at all, I'm just feeling unmotivated and have no energy at all. My friends and parents tell me that I am just lazy, but I don't think that this is the case, honestly. I have been like this for a long time and I wouldn't call it laziness, I just don't do anything at all in a day, I just lay in bed, listen to music or write some stories/ read some books perhaps. I don't go often outside anymore, like I used to, I kinda miss it, but the only time I get out is for school and I literally dislike this place with my whole heart. It's way too cramped and it literally screams that it's a terrible place, especially when you are an outsider or have barely any friends, like me. I hope that I'm not the only one that feels like this lately or like me for months... I hope you are all doing well and I hope you have an amazing day!

Library visit

just went to my favourite library in town, it's small but it has many shelves that reach up to the ceiling, full of wonderful books: old and new ones, a variety of genres and even in different languages. It's a great way to spend time, just sitting on the couch there surrounded by the great smell of books, while reading some. The library is like the only place where I can just enjoy the time, the silence, the atmosphere, is just like a lovely harmony! It's the only place where you can meet other book lovers and just talk about books. I absolutely love this place!

Finally raining!

Guys, it's finally raining! I can hear the water drops hit against the windows, its truly calming. I love the rain, I'm not quite sure why exactly, maybe I like the gray sky and small water drops falling, as I go outside or just lay in my bed. Normally I would grab my coat and go outside, when it starts raining, to photograph the rain, especially heavily, like right now, but unfortunately I cannot, due to the fact that I'm sitting in class and it's soo boring....

Solitaire

I just finished reading solitaire (yeah I know I should have read it sooner, but I literally only got time now) and I can't describe how much I truly liked it! (just like every other book from Alice Oseman, her books are literally inspiring and I don't feel alone with my struggles) Since I got into the whole heartstopper universe thing, Tori Spring was my absolute favourite character, besides Charlie of course. I truly enjoyed reading a book that was about her and directed by her on view and thoughts on various topics. As I read each chapter, page, sentence and word, I could pretty much relate to her, I guess that's why she is my favourite character, but anyways it was soo good that I couldn't put the book aside for even one minute. I liked how such serious topics were included in a direct and indirect way and I'm glad that I finally can relate to a character that has the same struggles like me, feeling unmotivated, having no energy and being not a big fan of socializing etc. I hope there will be more books, where it will be written from her view or just some parts of it.
