Reading webtoons, and I'm reading your stereotypical 'revenge ark, because you mistreated me in my past life, and now you will pay' but when the female MC gets beaten up by her abusive family. But what irritates me is that there is only one bruise shown, and it's like a red mark on the cheek, cuz of a slap that happened onscreen (the beating took place off)
And it just irritates me??? Because like I understand the female MC has to look pretty and pure and beautiful and all that. But if you're going to have physical abuse show the actual wounds, show me the skin swelling, and the skin turning black and blue, show me unnatural and gross swelling.
Guys imma have to make my own Webtoon, all I see is slop
