Through smoke and mirrors, and through you
They really should invent a sexy version of spaceman candy sticks.
I can't stop thinking about the fact that 8-year-old Zandik already held enough self-hatred to watch himself die and do nothing.
What horrific things happened to this child, hardly old enough for any form of self-perception at all, to motivate such a hatred? What could have done so much damage?
" Birds of the feather don't always have the same fate. "
There is something so sickening about the final Dottore dying in Sumeru. No matter the strides Zandik took to define himself apart the homeland that so vehemently rejected and vilified him, he could never escape it. He will be buried with the predispositions of its' people, not to be grieved, nor loved; and unable, despite all the time his segments granted him, to ever truly find a place to belong.
I've only really realised how deeply, emotionally attached I am to Dottore in the past two days. Eight years went by so quickly, and what was the normative of expectation; that this story will continue alongside my own growth- has suddenly ceased. It's a kind of grief- almost like mourning having hope itself?
I hope that makes sense.
I hope you're all faring better.
mentally taking a drag of my mental cigarette because I don’t smoke but life has been very smokable lately
