Please, guys... watch your phrasing. It's not just the singular user your affecting when you use examples in art and such.
Due to current events in the Jekyll and Hyde community, I'm going to explain something about a certain oc of mine. I don't wish to speak anymore of the situation because I am a minor myself which is A) Mentally uncomfortable with the idea that someone I've met (and considered a friend) is getting cancelled (I know it's a part of life, but say you were in this situation, with a history of mental health and irl loneliness) and finally B) I'm also an extremely sensitive bitch so, if you're going to send me death threats, I will probably take it too personal and honestly do worse than just apologising and leaving the site. I do want to disclose that I'm also now concerned about a certain mutual ship involving a different form Jekyde (which I will get into.)

Now, onto the topic at hand. Long story short, Evangeline Hyde is not an example of me being fatphobic. She also isn't an example of P*do bait.
Before people are going to accuse that I am those things, please listen, I have my reasons for why Evan is the way she is.
The original novel was an inspiration: From Stevenson's classic comes this quote from when Dr Jekyll described his other self's appearance: "it came about that Edward Hyde was so much smaller, slighter and younger than Henry Jekyll." Seeing as Henrietta is already a minor, and a physical child of a Hyde didn't work, one part I wrote down was that Evan's weight was actually a direct result of Henrietta's father forcing her to lose it. Corsets at age 13, dieting and purging at age 5. Now with this, it's time for the next point...
Evangeline is a symbol of Henrietta's rebellious thoughts: Another reason for Henrietta's pleasing nature is to avoid any attacks and assault from one mistake. As such, Evan was given this treatment as opposed to Henri days after her creation as Silverleaf's Henry Jekyll saw her as a mistake. So, not only did she believe that this behaviour towards her body and curious mind was the normal, but she also was influenced with whom she related to, those few being fictional villains, for example...
One of Evan's biggest inspirations was the character of Ursula. You know, the extravagant, flamboyant villain from the little mermaid. Evangeline's not even a full villain, she's more of a mischief maker, doing things for fun.
So, TL;DR Evan was specifically crafted to avoid the trope of "The odd one is comedy relief." So, while she is written as a flirt, she still follows the restrictions a minor would have.
As for the Jekyde situation, me and a mutual have been shipping our characters for a while. Specifically, a relationship between a 17 Henrietta and an 18 female Hyde (which is neither Evan nor another name for Henri's Hyde.) I bring this up since, seeing as this is a romantic relationship between a Jekyll and a Hyde, it could be considered Jekyde, even after the Hyde split off from her Jekyll. So, think of it instead as different names and it would be easier to see it's not selfcest.
