v!Hellfire headcanon -

v!Apo and v!Cherri's first date as an official couple was at the Spring festival. The pair had a great time even if nothing really went as expected. They have made sure to go every year after that.

I imagine they wear outfits that have matching flowers on them to the Spring festival each year.

(Apo probably had to miss last year's Spring festival because of the draft.)

Random idea I had -

In Thornhelm Princess Apo AU, I imagine the Red Kingdom has two reserved seats just for Apo and Cherri. The seats are much closer to each other compared to how far apart the other seats are. It’s an unspoken rule that those 2 seats are specifically for them. If anyone sits there then Apo and Cherri will just subconsciously move their seats close together and say nothing. (No one wants to keep rearranging the chairs or sit so close to someone else.)

Thinking about bf!Apo and the shiny fish from Soluna. 

Imagine bf!Cherri goes to check up on Apo after completing her princess duties. They go to the lake thinking they will find Apo fishing or something. Instead, she finds them sitting in a shallow part of the lake just staring at the fishes. Apo looks so happy and content that Cherri stops to stare at her for a while. Cherri quietly contemplated having an aquarium made for Apo.

Vampires AU where v!Apo is a mailwoman that has a long day of work ahead of her but just wants to go home to her wife. They keep having to deliver mail to the strangest people who make their day harder. (It also keeps raining a little.)

Her rich boss who doesn't really care about the safety of the workers. 

A ginger who they keep getting into arguments with. 

Some writer who keeps talking about other things instead of just signing the package form so they can leave. 

A tall lady who left her very territorial dog loose out in the front yard and won't answer the door. (Pearl had left her dog in the backyard, but it got out and she hadn't realized it. She had loud music playing and was busy doing chores, so she didn't hear the frantic knocking.)

Some blond guy who keeps trying to steal the packages she is trying to deliver. 

A strange man who lives suspiciously remotely that ordered a strange package and yelled at them when he received it…. suspiciously. (This was Rouge’s idea.)

Her ex-roommate from college that she parted in bad terms with. It's still awkward.

And a lot more other people. 

Apo just wants to finish her shift, go buy her wife a gift, and go back home to them. (This AU was inspired by something Ary said.)

If she delivers anything to Shelby it would probably go more or less like the conspiracy theorist scene in Dungeon Delivery, minus the bread and its consequences. Postal carrier, soldier, doesn’t matter what kind of official Apo is because Shelby doesn’t trust any of them.

By sheer bad luck, it’s Apo who delivers a written threat from the Orchid Killer to Drift. Now there are two recipients scared to see the mail coming.

More stuff about Thornhelm Princess Apo AU, featuring Thornhelm Knight Cherri - 

Warning: mention of burning someone

I feel like one of the reasons Cherri doesn’t think she’s a mage at first is because she blocked out the memory of the mage training, she went through as a kid. They remember training for something (they convince themselves it must have been knight training) and they remember they got their burn scar from the King of Thornhelm after he held a torch to their face. Similar to bf!Apo, Thornhelm knight Cherri can’t really recall most of her childhood. The days all seem to blur together. She starts being able to remember things better after becoming Apo’s personal guard. 

Cherri actually developed a fear of fire after the torch incident, so they avoid it as much as they can. Something that used to bring her comfort now seems to bring her fear. Cherri can’t get near fire without remembering the feeling of it burning her face. 

The first time Cherri managed to use her fire abilities it was both exhilarating and terrifying. (The exhilarating feeling took them by surprise). On one hand, having the ability to control fire could help make sure they never get burned again and will help protect them. On the other hand, they can now make the very thing that took their vision away and can end up hurting the people around them. After having the magic training bonding lesson with Ren, Cherri immediately went to give Apo a hug to help calm her nerves and soothe the lingering fear.
