Finally decided to take a crack at v!Cherri. Based on her skin in that one Harpy Express stream. I know people usually put like. An eyepatch, to represent the eye fire, but I thought i'd be cool if it was a burn scar instead. Cause you know. Fire.

Despite the warnings, this is a happy ending.

Me getting unreasonably emotional about v!Apo (/pos) below the cut (mention of sa)

v!Apo is my favorite character in vsmp, and is making their way up the ranking of being one of my favorites ever.

One of the reasons for this is her ability to be read as an allegory for SA victims. If you don’t subscribe to that reading, that’s fine, but as an SA victim, it means… so much. To see them just… Existing. To know they got home to the person she loves.

And she’s not unscathed. She’ll never be human again. She’ll never be able to eat her partner’s cooking, or her previous favorite foods. She’ll never be able to grow old. She’ll never die naturally.

But Apo, the woman who said that death is what makes life worth living, was able to live the next 80 or so years alongside the woman she loved. She lives, and she dies. She’s able to heal and have agency in her final moments, choosing to die, her end in the form of her lover’s withered hand around a stake.

It’s the most gorgeous, meaningful end I could’ve ever hoped for them. I cried like a baby making this, and I’m crying again rewatching it. Thank you Apokuna. All of this was improv but I’m so glad you fought as hard as you did so v!Apo could choose again.

Do you guys think V!Apo ever forgets what she looks like now that she can’t see her reflections? Do you think V!Cherri draws her drawing of herself to show her how beautiful she is? Do you think Cherri does this because she knows Apo would never hate her drawings because they find Cherri's art to be lovely, therefore Apo can’t hate the person staring back at her? Do you think they framed the drawings?

I know Apo doesn't want to be a vampire, but I do think that if she doesn't manage to get cured, Cherri would be completely fine with having a vampire girlfriend. Apo would be going on about how she's a monster now, and Cherri's just sitting there inconspicuously staring at her fangs nodding at whatever she's saying.
