Mr. and Mrs. Williams❤️. The day I married my best friend. The day my Ghanaian, Jamaican and black Irish family joined with his Filipino and African American family. I’m so humbled and I will never take this union for granted.
One day imma let y'all know about our journey. We are truly 2 walking miracles. Our relationship is a miracle.
Fun fact, I met him the summer before we both began undergrad. That day we talked until 6am the next morning. We talked about life, our past, present and future. That’s why we are married today. Can’t nobody tell me God isn’t real. The circumstances of how we met were too specific, it was crazy how everything happened.
He also graduated with his Bachelor of Liberal Arts in music education on the same day we got married lol. Y'all this man got married, graduated and got a career all in the same week. 🙌🏾
Quick question, of you are not African, should you wear this type of outfit to your wedding?
I would say no because if you aren’t African, you most likely don’t understand the cultural meanings behind each outfit style, kente print, etc. If you understand all of the cultural meanings of the clothing then I would say it’s okay to wear. Even if you are African, certain traditions are unique to each region and country. For example, I would never wear traditional Ethiopian wedding attire because I’m Ghanaian and I don’t completely understand their culture even though Ethiopia and Ghana are both countries in Africa.
Omg I can’t believe we’ve been married a little over 2 months 🎉 time is moving so fast.
Whoa, Next month will make it 6 months. I swear it feels like we just got married. I feel like I’m at a continuous sleepover with my best friend.
1 year and some change. I love and appreciate him more than ever before.
2 years and 25 days of marriage, I just got my second degree, he starts his Masters in the fall.
