One thing i found out some time ago...
Even if you have a good plan, it is no use if you don’t start it. Well, i have a plan and now is the time to start.
And if i say plan, i mean a rough idea :)
So, i love music and i like making music. I play bass and i love it.
I want to write my own music and share it with everyone.
Took me all summer to find what i would call “my sound”. Cannot really say what type of music. I start somewhere and go on until i like it. So much about a plan, heh.
Now i took what little money i have left and got myself up a beginners recording studio and camera. Look, when you plan things like that you have a vision, and it is big. What you end up with is, well, better than nothing but far from awesome. Still better than waiting for bed time and keep dreaming....
Worked the the past 2 days on recording my first piece. Quite a pain in the ass if i may say. Played that song for about 10 hours over and over again. Just never perfect. But i ain’t gonna cheat. I want to release my music the way i can play it not how a software can put it together. You know, i am old school.
Gonna sleep over it and check back tomorrow if i still like it. Sure, there is a few, ahem, parts i could do better, but then i might ruin the parts which are okay. No easy decision. Recording it again will sure eat a lot of time.
Goodbye summer, you were awesome. Will miss you.
