❀ Red Zone - A post-apocalyptic WIP rp led by my friend & I! A deadly virus wiped out over a third of the population three years ago and is still running rampant. Partly inspired by James Dashner’s The Maze Runner, our lore is totally unique and incredibly in-depth down to the science! You don’t need to worry about that though, we’ll reveal it all in due time.

Every now and then it just comes out 😔

This was one of those “draw & don’t think” kinds of artworks. I’m rewatching Bee & Puppycat, so I copied the art style while I was at it. (I also stole a character’s color palette as part of the study, shh)

Annnd so, the process kinda just flowed. I ended up drawing my persona freaking out, so he obv needed something to be upset about. Of course it has to be Rengoku 🥹

Here’s the character whose color palette I referenced ^^

He & Anxie both have dark skin & silver hair, so he was a very helpful reference/ palette study! I do not plan on keeping his palette at all- prefer blue hues anyway- but I learned a lot while borrowing it.

OASIS

A warriors story set in the desert! Left to right, we have:

Sokoke, a strong guardian with a dappled grey coat. On a normal night she’d wear little to no paint, so this must be a very important diplomatic mission she’s on. Named after an owl!

Bokmakierie, the rising star. Her bold personality is shown by her stance and outfit. Bokie’s pelt grows thick like Sokoke’s, so she’s cropped it back for comfort and convenience. Named after a song bird.

Jacamar, the hunter and fighter. He proudly wears a peccary’s pelt that he earned himself for special occasions. Named after a bird family. I like birds :]

These cats belong to something between a warriors’ clan and a city-state, still looking for the right name for it. They have their own culture and vast technological advancements that I wish warriors would’ve taken advantage of. Bokmakierie is a rising power within a corrupt society. It’s up to her and a terrorist to change the Oasis for the better before the sparks of a revolution get out of control.

This little idea of mine is subject to change :,). I don’t have a thing written lmao so there’s a lot to figure out for sure. I’d like to say their era is specifically kinda like Guardians of Ga’Hoole’s world. I may even take further inspiration & create a few of my own terms too.

The fun thing about creating a story is learning how to write one. I’m still in the ideas phase right now, so I decided I’d start with character information.

While writing this I stumbled across more beloved warriors ocs for me to recycle. It makes me so happy to put them in the same world together!

Like Cheesecake, my old sparkle cat! She’d need a total redesign to fit in, including her name. I was thinking about something like Chez
