Merry Christmas! Celebrating with updating Simon Simone (in black and white because I was determined to get this up on Christmas come hell or high water) about 1/4 through the first chapter. The first two drawings are somewhere between ten and twelve years apart, just about. I saw the first drawing and had to redraw the stupid thing...

Then I thought about how those characters would react to their protoselves and just...

That happened.

Raz is actually originally an IZOC in the most mary-sue of ways. Si was originally twins with one dimensional opposing personalities. Devi’s proto-selves were based off of my best friends at the time, who were with me while I was writing it (so a lot of their original dialog came from conversations I had with those friends, so??)

I kind of feel like this says a lot about who they are as characters. Anyway, Simon/simone is on hiatus until I get back from medical testing and I’ve moved and everything, but development comics like this, and production development pieces are still making their way to tapastic and patreon, and those links are here on the blog.

I'm trying a new thing: its called recognising my weakness, and asking for help. So when page 9 premiers its going to have a new inking style. Thicker in places than others but my friend does beautiful inks and is, in general, an amazing person. please feel free to offer your opinions when its released. Thank yoi
