Terunene crumbs again! Terunene agenda!
Always calling her cute! This might be interesting for analysis. Did Teru ever call anyone cute, except maybe his siblings when they were little? I need to look for those moments; I really don't remember him calling other people cute.
He's worried about her mental state! It's also funny that when Nene started crying, he ran away shamefully. Hanako comforted her, and Teru entrusted it to Akane. Of course, he wasn't as socialized as the ghost from the women's restroom... poor, isolated Teru. Manfailure. But in any case, he's glad to see Nene okay again.
Teru is also very caring and even helps her get rid of obsessive thoughts and feelings 🤲🏻 Maybe it's part of an exorcist's job, but who forced him to tell Nene in her fish form that she still looks good and has nothing to worry about? After all, that would affect her well-being and self-esteem. Teru is very caring towards Nene.
And because he's a kind senpai! And Nene always thinks she can rely on him. That he can solve all the problems. In the context of the theme of the constant need to save someone in tbhk (and saving loved ones, and this is the theme of love, the desire to help) this takes on a touching coloring.
Ok, but what was that? Obviously fanservice, lol, but don't we have the right to just eat this fanservice? How is it any worse because it's the main character x the main handsome guy? By the way, when Kou tells Sousuke's ghost that he will remember him as he is, no one is saying that Kou is trying to be a good exorcist, everyone is saying that he likes Sousuke, so it must be evenly split: either the brothers are both exceptionally polite, or they are actually starting to like these people a little.
What's also interesting is that Teru decided to invite Nene along with him to spend time with her also. I'll believe he enjoys spending time with her. After all, they're friends, too, one way or another. And Teru is very clingy, and I'd say he's like Tsukasa in that regard: because he's so isolated, he craves spending time with _absolutely_ everyone close to him. So that's why Teru is so equally interested in Nene. He wanted to cheer her up too after losing Aoi. He invited her along and had no intention of using her as just a tool.
Teru asks about Nene's well-being and her wounds, and he was not going to call her to the far shore in order to replace Aoi's sacrifice, he was even willing to return everything supernatural back, but not to exchange it for someone else's life.
And here's another point: Teru had no intention of doing anything about Nene's lifespan because it was predetermined by fate and should not be interfered with. Teru was raised primarily on the principles of "do what must be done, and come what may." Aoi's death, on the other hand, wasn't predetermined; it was an accidental sacrifice caused by Hanako, and it wasn't something that "should be," so it would have been reasonable to interfere with the course of events, just as Hanako had already willfully done. But Teru intends to save Aoi, not kill Nene. Even though Nene's death was "supposed" to happen, Teru doesn't say "let's stick to the same old plan" lol. He didn't insist to invite her along and didn't want her to interfere with exorcising Hanako. Teru intended to protect her from that and prevent her from disrupting his plan, which essentially called for both girls to survive, and fortunately, that's what happened. Teru's non-interference in Nene's life does not automatically mean coldness towards her fate in those cases where he can correct it.
Pretty much for a crack pairing, huh? Have Nene grabbing Teru's boobie.
And they're holding hands, lmao
We rarely talk about the fact that Mitsuba called Aoi cute. Cuteness is a key concept for him; he constantly repeats the word, wants to be cuter than others, convinces himself and those around him of this, strives to achieve that first place, and seems to have no interest girls for this reason, as people like to say. Mitsuba doesn't lose the desire to talk about the cuteness even after his memory loss. And here, of all people, he calls Aoi cute, just like that, in a conversation, not even about that, but he says it so easily. What is that if not the highest compliment in his system of beliefs? And we know that Aoi is truly beautiful in appearance; this isn't a sop from Mitsuba, it's a statement of fact. And yet, he says it.
On the other hand, it feels like a lost cause: in the end, all the active main characters like Aoi, and only the bad and evil NPCs in the background dislike her. Everyone likes her, and even those who might have expressed a different opinion ultimately become one of Aoi's admirers. Although this is a huge potential for conflict: someone who is concerned about their appearance, someone who is proud enough to crave everyone's attention, meets someone who is the boss in this regard, number one. There could be at least a slight, harmless jealousy on Mitsuba's part...they are just two teenagers. I have an OC who has crush on Nene, a gyaru with low self-esteem, and obviously she doesn't treat Aoi very well, envying and jealous. But if my OC were canon, she would love Aoi too, right? The power of friendship, erasing even the very beginning of the conflict, which could then in turn lead to acceptance and improvement of relations? Although the conflict of Aoi's alienation would work better if someone from the main cast was included, but now it's just everyone on the outside...and in the end, it doesn't feel that way.
Happy birthday, Naku-chan, daughter of Miku Hatsune and Sasuke Uchiha
Here comes Teruaoiweek 2026! In two months, at the end of July, and remember, if you're late, you can still submit your work! Don't give up just because you missed the deadline. Use the hashtags teruaoi, teruaoiweek, and teruaoiweek2026 to get noticed. I'll be keeping a countdown. Good luck everyone!
So, here's what I decided to do. Tsukasa is terribly underrated, treated as an evil villain, an annoying brat, and completely ignored, while Tsukasa has suffered so much in canon for this kind of treatment from literally everyone — his family, his friends, his readers. Tsukasa deserves attention and love, and so I present to you Tsukasa Day! Let's defend this child's honor.
Tsukasa! 💜💜💜
A shameless young adult lady. Unemployed and horny, she loves to vibe and live on handouts. Menace.
Well, I might sound like "not like other girls," but this is Tumblr, so. I've long been bothered by the way Russian au images are portrayed in large quantities. It's often depressing, gray, or colorful, but with some kind of unhealthy theme and scary quotes from our underground singers, lol. Or it's folklore horrors. That's all good, of course. But for some reason, there's a greater variety of aesthetics for any other realities, and I can find cute pictures with no catch much more often. It's as if we're proud of this gray filter, or don't want to know anything else. Of course, these are tiktok-style aesthetic generalizations, cores, that have no particular connection to reality, and again, I'm not against their existence. I've just always wanted something, well... harmless? Sugary cute? By the way, this is basically my style, so I decided to put together a collection of drawings that were inspired, in whole or in part, by what I know. Just kind pictures, and I want to make a series of kind pictures. Maybe I'll add a tag for this on my blog, but for now I'm reposting what's already been drawn. Russia can look any way you like, not just through a gray filter or creepy folklore, lol. The possibilities of artistic vision are truly limitless, but if I don't quote something fatalistic or about dismemberment, it will probably come across as off topic, lol. Well, whatever, you can call me whatever you want, the main thing is that I want to post colorful, sweet, sugary illustrations for children's books or something like that.
My ocs, tbhk edits, Teruaoi, Hananene, all this, lol. In general, Aida's style is too good not to be inspired by it. Of course, she draws horror stories, but they are so colorful and cute 🥺 haha
I just want moe moe nyaa 😔 If you've personally seen a lot of cute pictures about Russia, then that's great, and you're lucky, but I don't come across them as often as I'd like. I'm speaking purely from my own experience, which I'm personally tired of, and stuff like this can happen to anyone
My silly girl
Time for lovechildren!
So, I had a list of possible Teru ending AUs: Terukane becomes canon, Aoi lives her life; Terunene becomes canon when Nene survives because they get along well; Terumika (Teru x oc) becomes canon when Teru suffers from the desire to be Aoikane's third wheel for too long and his family marries him off to another exorcist family and Teru becomes Mikan-chan's wife, lol, because the Minamoto clan is literally a mirror image of this theme, change their genders and you get Terumi, who was raised as an heir, who becomes less needed after Taira-kun is born, the literally expected Taira-kun, and Kou-chan, who wants to break free from the domestic drudgery and do clan business. So there you have it. I despise the idea of Teru being Aoikane's eternal third wheel and cuckold, and while logically if the three of them get close it shouldn't happen, but what if Aidairo canonizes them? We'll get another old tired joke, and they'll sell it like that again because that's how they do their business. Teru deserves more, at least some separation from this idea. And so I didn't consider the option where he continues to live like this, but now I have a new plot line: where he lives as the third in this couple for a long time, still essentially kinda kinda out of place. And then he meets Sumire, and she makes this clear to him, breaking him out of his routine. Even now, this sounds pretty typical, of course, but it will sound even more vulgar when I say that Sumire is reincarnated (by the way, I don't like this concept at all for some reason for worldbuilding, so it's not like they all do it, but she's not completely dead or anything) right in this current year of the story, so she has a seventeen-year age difference with Teru. They meet as adults, and it's framed as Smoking behind the supermarket with you or something.
If we add to this the idea that Teru knew the previous Sumire (Haniamira headcanon!!) (which adds a lot of color to his attitude towards Aoi, who might simply remind him of Sumire, haha, today is a day of vulgarity, but it's about time!), then he'll be even more surprised to encounter _such_ a greeting from the past. Maybe Sumire would have been born into a normal family, or another family with special powers, or into Akane's family, but in a different branch, so that none of the cast would have guessed what happened, since the rest of the people had never even laid eyes on Sumire. Perhaps Sumire really is more of a distant relative Akane, because they work as conduits for the supernatural and that's what my old AUs were built on.
This is one of four pairing options for Teru that I have lol, it's not very good because Teru will have to kinda kinda suffer for a long time and he and Sumire will not be as close as they could be if they were more the same age, but in fact, this is actually impossible for them in canon, because Sumire died a long time ago, and also just the very concept of an adult Teru, who is still a silly, who is silly like old people are silly (but this is just a catchphrase, 40+ years is not old at all), and who is taken in by someone younger 🤌🏻 It's hilarious. And dilfhunter Sumire is literally canon. Maybe the first time it was a result of trauma, and this time it was purely a result of taste, a taste for which girls are shamed on the Internet, but Sumire looks very much like a person who has quite a few fetishes.
Pretty girl 🌼
Varya was simply not told that she was in a staged picture for vibe
For a newborn fandom... does it even have an English tag?
