An animal undergoing rehabilitation must be conditioned to be wary of humans—specifically, to the point where it harbors absolutely no desire to interact with people whatsoever. Consequently, there is to be no baby talk, cuddling, hugging, carrying in one’s arms, or anything of the sort. Brief displays of friendliness on the part of a human are permissible only in cases involving severely debilitated animals or newborn seal pups—and strictly until their condition has stabilized. In such instances, this limited interaction serves to provide support to the young patient, who is still facing an uncertain future. Subsequently, however, a comprehensive regimen of measures must be implemented to establish a firm barrier between the animal and humans. Among these measures are various minor, somewhat mischievous provocations—administered with a finger, naturally—aimed at any animal that has grown too relaxed in a human’s presence and turned its back on them. We are thoroughly satisfied with the ensuing reaction from the enraged little seal pup!
Реабилитируемое животное нужно воспитывать недоверчивым по отношению к человеку. Так, чтобы никакого желания общаться с людьми у него и помине не было. Поэтому никаких сюсюканий, тисканья, объятий, таскания на ручках и тому подобного. Кратковременное проявление дружбы со стороны человека возможно только при поступлении сильно ослабленных и новорожденных тюленят. И только до момента стабилизации их состояния. В таком случае, недолгое по времени общение поддерживает маленького пациента, еще неопределившегося со своим будущим. Ну а потом должен быть проведен целый комплекс мероприятий, выстраивающий барьер между животным и человеком. Среди них и разнообразные маленькие гнусненькие подколки (пальцем естественно)) для животного расслабившегося в присутствии человека и повернувшегося к нему спиной. Реакцией разъярившегося нерпенка мы полностью удовлетворены)).
