Ultimutt Indoor Dog Potty Pads
Whew! This one was a doozy. I took all your feedback from the livestream, discord, and here to make this realistic and also helpful!Â
3 styles each with different levels of absorbency/uses:
Trainer Pads (Moderate/~4 uses)
Usable indoors by dogs of any age
Can also be used outside, off-grid, and on balconies
Potty trained dogs will use autonomously as needed
Untrained dogs can be commanded to use the pads by selecting the pad
Dogs commanded to use the pad will gain potty training skills
The pads cannot be used, either autonomously or through commands, if the pads are filthy
For my cheaters out there, shift+click on the pads to immediatly potty train a dog of your choice
No impact on environment or use
Dogs can still use the pad
Unpleasant environment moodlet
Sims can clean up & replace for small cost
Dogs cannot use the pad & will beg to go outside until cleaned
Significant & unpleasant environment moodlet
Sims must replace in order for it to be used
When a sim first cleans up a pad, they will not immediately clean up the poop
Most sims (exception of slobs and a few other traits) will autonomously pick up all the poop after replacing the pad
The visual stains on the pads may not change with every and is dependent on absorbency level and number of uses it can handle
If these are placed outside or doors are unlocked, dogs may autonomously choose a more âdesirableâ object instead of the pads
I have made an effort with all of my recent objects to add tooltips to help you use them properly
Tooltips on the pads highlight some use requirements and also specify dirtiness state
Most sims (exception of slobs and a few other traits) will autonomously pick up all the poop after replacing the pad

If your dog is whining at the door instead of using the pad:
Indoor pad(s) are filthy and need to be cleaned
The dog is not potty trained
Untrained dogs can be commanded to use the pads as long as they arenât filthy
