Descendants Wicked Wonderland new teaser and scenes
We got some new Wicked Wonderland teasers today and oh boy do we have some stuff to talk about.
Today's teasers were all about Chloe and it seems like our favorite Charming princess is under going a wicked transformation.
In a released scene Chloe talks about her mother becoming even more strict than she used to be(wasn't Cinderella telling Chloe to be less of a perfectionist in ROR?) and even followed Chloe to school.
Which okay I can see why that would be upsetting but in a different snippet Chloe complains about her mother not remembering talking to Chloe in the past(so I guess that answers that question) but why did Chloe even think she would?
In any case Chloe seems to be having issues with how her mother changed which seems like it's going to pit her against Red who likes how her mother changed.
Most of the new teaser focuses on Chloe seemingly acting in increasingly erratic and rebellious ways to the point that even Red is like wtf.
And then we get the evil Chloe scene which shows Chloe putting on a bracelet and transforming into a darker version of herself which is pretty awesome.
I'm uncertain where Chloe gets this bracelet but I'm going to say the scene of Chessy telling someone they can control their destiny is a red herring and it was most likely Maddox.
In fact could this thing Maddox had in the previous trailer be the bracelet's jewel?
Since it seems like QOH's cards are what he's using to control the vines and other evil things in Wonderland.
Admittedly this does feel like the writers are reheating evil Audrey's nachos a bit but I'm here for it since it doesn't seem like it's going to be exactly the same circumstances.
Though I do have to wonder if they always planned to reveal evil Chloe in the new teaser or if they only did so because she got leaked.
And now I have to talk about Max Hatter because he apparently was around in the previous timeline.
Okay questions, so many questions.
I get that we didn't see or hear of Max in the last movie because the writers hadn't created him yet but I find it odd that Maddox seemingly never tried to cultivate a friendship between Max and Red, knowing how lonely Red was.
Maybe the old Red would've been resistant but it's better than nothing and I'm already mad at all the missed potential this creates for both Red and Max.
And even if Red wasn't friends with Max, shouldn't she be a little more guilty about changing someone so drastically by altering time? Especially since she was so close to his dad?
Anyway it seems that Max and the other VK's butt in on the Wonderland adventure after Red gets a message from home:
I'm uncertain as to whether this is an SOS from QOH or a threat from Maddox since both are shown with the Queen's playing cards in the various teasers but that's evidently what gets the group to Wonderland (after Pink is finished fainting).
I honestly can't tell if Max is working with Maddox or not since on the one hand he butts into the adventure uninvited and seems to be chasing Red and Luis with evil Chloe in one clip:
But on the other he also seems to be fighting with the group in other clips:
My best guess right now is that he'll be working with his father at first but he'll pull a Mal by the end and be like "I don't want be evil anymore because love".
Other points of interest from the pop ups and teasers:
Red supposedly throwing Chloe toward an evil plant and Hazel saving her.
New outfits for QOH and Cinderella!
The doorknob from the original Alice in Wonderland movie. Fun fact: This character doesn't appear in either of the original Alice novels making him a Disney only character.

Luis and Hazel being repeatedly in conflict, I think I smell I new ship brewing...
And finally Max and Chloe having an(evil?) duet.
This movie looks like it's going to be wild and I'm honestly excited for the movie to premiere next week.
