@simrinascimentale
Just some pics, built a building I dreamt about 2 years ago.
Buffy The Vampire Slayer's house, but this one is surprisingly too complicated for limitations of the Sims.
The one on the left is just two floors and a foundation, on the right it has an additional short floor so the roof in front of the windows can be separate but still at the same height.

Point Ouerbacker Aesthetics Inspirations
Point Ouerbacker was mostly done when I got a hold of it, but I had a few references that I used to continue shaping the world, especially in the community lots and the overall world tones (INIs, weather, etc.). Iâve posted some of them here, and I hope theyâre of use to people looking for inspiration!
Point Ouerbackerâs not a new, shiny world. In fact, most of it isnât. Itâs a tired rural world that should feel very much like the type of fading 20th century Americana that the rest of country has seemingly left behind. I wanted something a bit grungier than the typical Sims 3 world, but still bright and colourful.
Itâs one of those blue-collar counties you might find yourself in by chance rather than by design- and itâs still a nice place to spend your summers in. Just donât expect very much to be going on!
Of course, rural America can also be a a place where not everything is what it seems (and things go bump in the night), so thereâs certainly lots of fertile ground to explore ;)
Point Ouerbacker can be found here.
matching a building to a deco building is always a challenge. gotta make a decicion on the windows of this theatre
Rabbit holes placed directly from CAW onto terrain, more info at the end.
Hi! Itâs been 10 months haha, I moved back to Warsaw, found a job and honestly these past few months have been life changing but I didnât feel much like playing any games or using the computer much. Not sure if Iâll be posting again regularly, as I just tried just adding buildings again within CAW but it crashed ofc, and itâs very discouraging, tried editing my simself and the skins bugged out although I did not touch the mods, no usual tricks worked. Also moving to the French Riviera at the end of August so not much time left here with friends and family. I do feel inspired though so I might try posting something soon, at least have the main town area finished. This post I wanted to at least be somewhat useful. If youâre planning on using rabbit holes then placing them through supercaw as an object is one solution to limiting the lot number, this does not seem to be in any way requiring more processing power, Iâd recommend testing this out. What is not working though are the venue seats, only seem to be a decoration, but I do like the idea of just having a non functional stage like this
edit: also used @nectar-cellar âs Diego here for testing haha, heâs whining not sure about what though as allâs working perfectly fiiine
more plants, yay! first off, i finally managed to properly copy over the bones from ts4 plants, so my root veggies look so much nicer!! also i didnât know that wolfsbane and mandrake were real plants lol theyâre actually so pretty
ended up replacing the mandrake mesh with the one from ts4 cause it has a cute lil face :) made a completely new mesh for the pumpkins & watermelon, which i think turned out really nice!
and finally the apple tree omg iâve remade it about 5 times now.. i THINK this is the final version! thanks to a great idea from @whaturlchooseitforme iâve managed to make it look nice and full without having to have the apples as part of the texture!
@nectar-cellar âs Vlad is cooling down in his Boroughsburg penthouse after a succesful feeding. Thatâs so until the sun rises, when through these tall windows the murderous rays of the sun will enter the apartment, posing a hazard to the vampire. He skimped out on blinds.
I love the Boroughsburg ambiance, those lights all around the city.
The Yard - Bar
I love how the exterior turned out
Before the game is reinstalled, I can show you the small art gallery Iâve been working on. Not sure yet about the building on the right, I canât seem to get the second floor windows right, might be empty although Iâm thinking about putting an apartment there and having the gallery be owned by those living in the apartment
While I am not experiencing too many performance hiccups and have all my cc merged, applied Turbo Traveller and am using the SmoothPatch, Iâve just experienced very smooth gameplay in quite a long time.
I didnât enable Story Progression after starting a new save. Not saying it will slow the game down in all cases, but Iâd recommend some tweaking with itâs settings and applying some limits where available. All the other Nraas modules are enabled as usual.
This monstrosity has shown up across the street from the daycare I shown in the previous post. Itâs gonna be a sushi restaurant, first time I am going to use the Japanese set from The Sims 3 Store
Daycare Clutter I think I put all the daycare related objects from Generations into this garage so I do not forget about any of these later on. One of the few things I like about The Sims 4 are the toddler or child beds, and I think tables too? And resizing objects! Just noticed thereâs some grass where it should not be. The building in the background isnât completely finished as I am tweaking it a bit.
My simblr isnât dead, it just isnât in a hurry.
Above is a before and a complete remake (on a smaller lot) of an apartment/daycare. The old pics are from years ago, I love how it turned out. I still have to finish the interiors and itâs been taking a while since Iâm not so good at daycare design.
POV you are out of the car
Another bistro. This time with Into The Future food synthesizer.
It reminds me of Sims 4 on the inside, while it is furnished, it's lacking in details. I think I will go with that theme for most of the builds so the world is easy on the computer.
I found something to post in the meantime. Here is a restaurant with a tavern. Not sure if I will improve it later on, or this will be a more generic one. I like the idea of a downstairs pub/scene with some live music, I want the lots to double at least so there is some choice and variety.
Also not a fan of the fence I used as cornices.
I can't seem to settle on a Tumblr theme. Posting pictures is not as intuitive as it seems
Planning Hell
Hello :)
There have been no updates lately, mainly because I could not take any good screenshots, the ones today are rather bad. I also barely touched the computer. The picture where it is raining is the most recent, however there were already some changes made and the three rightmost buildings are gone, these I built years ago.Â
I will send an up to date picture when I finally sort out the two lane road, it will not be long but I feel it could make the world feel a bit bigger than it actually is. I also want to add a college, I will include it in a separate update, at least showcasing its area first.
I wish you a lovely day!
School's out.
I always was dissatisfied with the lack of a proper school in The Sims, whether it is a Maxis world or a custom one. I understand it is redundant to have one, but no matter the mods making it an actual operating institution, I just find it cool to have one where kids can meet up, go to the library, play sports or put on a play, also with a playground on a separate lot and a football field on another, it could not get any better.
