So “You Create, Your World” has finally become “EA Creates, You Play Whatever We Give You”.

Sorry but this EP is screaming to builders “This EP is not for you”. Seeing as this is the first non builder-friendly EP in the Sims 4 series, I am at a complete loss. Everything I looked forward to doing with this EP has become impossible now.

I’m not gonna put on a brave face as some other builders have chosen to do. I feel like builders are getting completely shafted here. This just tells me that EA has just gotten lazy, and builders like me are no longer important to their bottom line.

The Sims 4: Medication Set!

I was at home yesterday, looking at some of my “real life” clutter (haha) and realized that we don’t have any medicine clutter for TS4. Of course, that sent me on a mission to rectify that, and I came across Living Dead Girl’s lovely Medication Set for TS3. I was halfway through converting and recoloring it when I saw that Ajoya/Bonnie already converted a few of the objects (and I even had them in my game already, d'oh!), but I decided to finish my set since Bonnie’s is only of a few of the objects, and I did some different stuff (more details below the cut) with the meshes :)

I went recolor crazy and did 60 something recolors of everything in Simlish. And because it’s a conversion of a lovely mesh, I also kept the original English version in as well, for those who like realistic CC :)

These will look great in your Sim’s home, or can be sold as retail (pharmacy, anyone?) or whatever you’d like really!

Building Troubles

I’m building a town based off towns between 1100 and 1600 A.D. It’s focus is mainly on the medieval period, but the inn has private rooms. They all have plumbing though. Anyway....it’s getting really frustrating..especially when it comes to the kitchens. There is so much medieval stuff for Sims 2 and there is some for sims 3 too, but barely any for sims 4! Especially when it comes to ovens or matching furniture. I’ve only managed the Inn/tavern, the candy store, and the bakery. I started on an armor shop, but I want to connect it to a forge and there isn’t any good cc for blacksmith stuff. THIS IS FRUSTRATING!!!

I promised, now I deliver!

Looms, looms! Looms for days! Great for any civilization, from ancient Greece to modern Norway (seriously)!

This is my first-ever Sims 4 cc AND my first ever unique object for any game. It’s a Frankenmesh that combines my own primitive meshing with a base mesh. There will most likely be flaws. Constructive criticism, bug reports and help are all welcome!

One known issue is that the strings disappear if you zoom out too far. This is because the strings are created using an alpha channel and not individually meshed objects. The good side to this is that I saved you (as far as I understand) HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of polys by figuring out how to do that. Still a bit high-poly for Sims 4 deco, but didn’t slow my game when tested.

And since the strings are made with an alpha(!!!) a little creative editing can make it look like there’s a partially completed weaving on the loom. Feel free to give it a try. I haven’t decided if I need that in my game yet, but I might work on a non-empty version myself.

I cloned 4 windows from the game and changed the glass to a more medieval texture. I think all the windows except the sun window are from Get Together so you will need that expansion for these to show in game. Not an override! Enjoy!

Spinning Wheel Pose

I’ve been wanting to make a pose with this object for ages!

It’s not 100% realist, because I didn’t have a strand of flax :/

Positioning needs to be fine-tuned with alt-key. It’s easiest to place the chair last. Take care you place the wheel facing the right direction.

Unfortunately it doesn’t work so well with long or wide skirts, but to some degree this can be hidden.

As usual, list, nolist and code are included.
