You're walking through a seemingly endless field, you're unsure how long it's been before you see a figure in the near distance. You call out and the person turns to you, their face morphing into a look of surprise quickly covered by a smile.

"Hello there, who might you be? Oh, you're here to chat? Of course we can talk, I'm always up for a discussion."

Hiii my main is @artenjoyingcritter if you wanna follow me there! I admittedly haven't ever done something like this before, and especially not with a character that isn't my own. So please forgive any errors, I'm trying my best here!!

I'm afraid that I've lost my StP hyperfixation for the moment. As such, this blog is closed until it inevitably returns!!!

"Well well well! It's been a while since I've smelled the stench of a coward!"

(Someone cackles, and a figure slowly makes her way into your garden. Her voice is skittering, and you recognise her immediately, from the wildness of her hair to the catty way she moves.)

(The Witch is back.)

(She moves, footsteps calculated, towards you, her eyes sharp and mildly bitter.)

*He freezes at the voice, feathers bristling before he smooths them back out. Smiling widely at her, all teeth and sharpness, large enough to make him squint*

"You. It's been too long, really! I thought you were dead. It's lovely to see you again, to what do I know the pleasure of your presence?"

(The Frog leaves for a few minutes and then comes back with a top hat for the birb)

*He smiles at the Frog as it returns, seeming surprised by the hat it brought along*

"Oh? What's the hat for little friend?"

*He smiles tightly at you and stands up, spreading his wings slightly to look larger*

"I'm being kind to you, I don't believe taking that for granted is a good idea, my dear. Don't call me a rat, or anyone a rat for that matter, it's rude."

(Places frog wearing top hat in front of Oppy)

*He blinks in surprise before smiling at the fancy frog*

"Well hello there little one, quite the fancy critter aren't you?"

Hello!

*a person driving a bike attached to a cart waves at Opportunist. They get off their bike and pick up one of the many containers sitting atop the cart and puts it down.

I'm delivering fish as per Hunted's request as a gift. Oh, and they're live fish, he says it's to preserve the freshness of the fish if you so wish to eat them.

*the container is half filled with water and indeed there were some live fish swimming around in the big container.

*the person tips their hat and bows to opportunist before getting back on their bike.

See ya! Or not! That depends if Mr.Hunted decides to gift you again!

*He doesn't seem surprised by the situation, though a mix of emotions flashes across his face at the mention of Hunted*

"I see, they were sent by Hierophant, glad to know he's well, thank you for delivering them, my friend!!"

*He looks down at the fish, silently watching them swim around before nodding. He reaches down and lifts picks up the container, bringing them closer to his original place at the top of the hill and setting it down on the picnic blanket where he resides. He won't be eating them.*

*He squints at you in annoyance before switching to a tight smile*

"Ah, my friend it seems you're mistaken, I'm not a horse. I'm a bird. I don't eat carrots."

🐈 !! (fortune's eyes go wide at the sight of another mouse and it falls into a hunting crouch, whiskers at attention)

*He's silent as he watches Fortune hunt the newly appeared rodent, not wanting to interfere with the fate of the small creature*

*He's confused for a moment before smiling nervously*

"Um, of course? How are you speaking to me when did I give you cheese???"

The writing, is sickeningly familiar, penned in blue ink, a familiar handwriting, blocky and legible.

"To My Opportunist,

It's been a long time. I know we didn't end on good terms- we fought, a lot. And you pissed me off. But I've had time to think, too much time, probably. And I'm sure you have too.

I know we don't like eachother- we're meant to hate eachother. I am, was, his morality. You were his survival. I chose things that got us killed, when you could've saved us with cruelty.

I'm being stupidly poetic, and I need to shut up, but what I'm trying to say is that I think we were both in the wrong. We're both kinda stupid, aren't we? All of us, even. We were all really single-minded back then. And now, I want to reconnect, because I love you I miss you all. You especially

True to his word, an address is written at the bottom. At the end of the third paragraph, you see two small crossed out sets of words, that you can barely make out.

...Maybe they mean something.

The crow looks at you keenly, as if it knows something you don't.

*He's silent as he reads the note, his expression a mixture of too many emotions to properly convey. He's silent for a long, long time, filling the quiet with scratching of pen on paper pulled from his bag. When he finally speaks, it's quiet and fragile, as he holds the newly sealed envelope in his hands*

"I suppose I should have you deliver this, hm?"

THINK FAST *chucks a water balloon at your head*

*He dodges with practiced ease, the balloon soaking somewhere behind him instead, he gives you an unimpressed look*

"I'm afraid you'll have to be faster than that my friend, also I don't recommend calling out your attacks before you do them, im afraid it's not very effective."

*He blinks at you, offense clear on his face before its covered with a slightly annoyed smile*

"Y'know it's really not polite to go around insulting people, you're lucky I'm kind enough to let you know with words instead of letting you go off and continue til someone let's you know with their fist."

🐈 mow! mow! mow! (fortune walks up to you with something in its mouth. it drops the something at your feet. it's a dead mouse...) mow!

*He's frozen for a moment, unsure how to react here, before he blinks and smiles kindly at the feline, leaning down to pet it's head*

"I'm afraid I don't have much use for a dead mouse, little one. Thank you for the gift though, I appreciate it nonetheless."

*skitters in*

It sniffs the air. Smelling nothing suspicious, it drops a letter, addressed to him. It nods a goodbye.

*skitters away*

(Note: Hello, sorry for my last gift, if you remember. I'm Jerry. I am visiting all of your friends to give news. The blue one seemed broken, the frosty one was fine, and the falling one seemed a little sad but mostly ok. I'm visiting the others next.)

*He nods at it in return, smiling but slightly suspicious. Then he reaches to grab the letter and reads it over, concern visible on his face as he goes*

"He's, broken? That's... a surprise. Well, perhaps one of the others, someone closer, will manage to help him. At least the others are alright enough, that's wonderful news.... I miss them."

It drops a note and a fancy pen.

*skitters away*

*He looks at the object warily for a moment before reaching over to grab and read the note*

"Jerry, hm? And it's met the others? I suppose it'll make for an interesting companion when it returns."

A crow swoops down from overhead, a roll of parchment in its beak. The parchment is tied with a fuzzy orange string. The thing ruffles its feathers, settling on the lowest branch of a tree just by you.

The crow feels familiar, like someone you might've double-crossed and doubted but loved all the same, but you can't be sure. Perhaps your mind is playing tricks on you. Either way, it leans forth, offering the parchment in its beak to you.

Will you take it?

*He stands frozen for a moment, staring at the bird that feels like a memory from a dream, something he misses so dearly but holds such resentment for, then he blinks. Once, twice, before hesitantly reaching to accept the offering*

"I don't know what you're here for but I can only hope it's mutually beneficial."

*He unties the string and unfurls the rolled parchment*

[The Thing merely nods.]

Beeeeeeeeeeeep. Eep Eep Eep Beep. *You are sad. You need fren. I am fren. I exist to be fren.*

[The Thing squeaks before scuttling up your leg, climbing over your torso, to perch on your shoulder. It purrs.]

*He tenses before reaching up and grabbing The Thing by it's scruff and setting it back on the ground*

"No, no that's not gonna happen, little thing. Also what on earth are you talking about, I'm "sad", I'm not sad, what would I be sad about, hm? Nothing, exactly, I'm not sad, there's nothing to be sad about, and I don't need a friend! I have plenty of friends already, there's no need for you to assign yourself a job here."
