a/n : short cause this was really just a random thought i got in my head, sorry.. 😓
"braces, really??" he said confused, looking down at you.
"dont laugh.." you muttered, looking up at him, covering your mouth.
"im not gonna laugh, calm down." he said, cracking a smile.
"you are—you're smiling!" you said, tears forming in your eyes.
"hey—hey!– look at me." he said, making you face him. "dont cry, okay? that was mean. m'sorry." he said, trying not to chuckle.
his eyes darted down to your hands still covering your mouth.
"can I see them..? im not gonna laugh." he said, a half-lie.
"..." you went quiet. before moving your hands.
"give me a smile–or something.." he muttered,
"okay.."
you smiled at him,—with teeth. flashing the braces at him.
"holy shit.‐really?? pink & blue rubber-bands??" he snorted just by looking at the color.
"you—you said you wouldnt laugh! mike, its not funny!" you whined, closing your mouth and letting out a huff, turning the other way as tears pricked your eyes.
did you really look that stupid?
"im sorry!—im sorry, its just the color!" he yelped, noticing your tears again. "please stop fucking crying.."
"now you just make me wanna cry more!"
"..you have to be doing this on fucking purpose.." he muttered, sighing in annoyance, as he made you face him once more.
"stop. crying. okay? im sorry." he kissed your forehead.
"do.. do i look ugly now..?" you sniffled, wiping the tears that had slipped out.
"no, no—you dont. you look beautiful, they suit you. cmon, give me a smile again. I wont laugh."
you slowly looked up at him through your lashes, giving him a shy smile. scared he would laugh.
"thereeee you go. you look so pretty." he said, thumbs running over your cheeks.
he slowly leaned in and pressed a kiss to your lips, as you whimpered in embarrassment.
he pressed you against the wall slowly, kissing you.
he pulled away, opened his eyes and saw the flush on your face. "I told you, you look pretty." he said, looking at you with impure thoughts in his head.
"mike..? why're you looking at me like that..?" you said, unpurposely batting your lashes at him.
he's always wondered if it hurt getting a blowjob from someone with braces.
fuck.. why did he think like this? it was too late anyways, already kissed his best-friend til your brain went to mush.
"can you suck my dick..?"
"what?—"
next thing you know his tip was pressed against your cheek, precum leaking out.. "..mike, are you sure this won't.. hurt you?"
"im sure it wont.. c'mon.. just put your mouth on it already, please?" he pleaded, moving his cock from your cheek to press it against your lips. "its all hard for you, won't you soften it?" he cooed.
you opened your mouth shyly, slowly moving closer as his cock entered your mouth.
"ah—fuuck..." his head rolled back. "teeth—teeth.." he hissed, as your teeth slightly grinded against his shaft.
you pulled away, lightly gasping. "sorry–m'sorry.."
"no—you're okay, just put your fucking–..mouth back.." he groaned as soon as your mouth went right back on it, slowly moving down as more of it went in your mouth. "wait—shiittt!–" he cried out as it went down your throat.
gagging noises filled the room followed by mike's erratic breathing. "breathe.." he reminded you, his hands shaking as he moved the hair in your face away.
"you're doing so good.." he moaned, watching the tears fill your eyes, as he let you pull away.
unexpectedly you started sucking again, not wanting to dissapoint him, mike's hips twitched. "fuck!–" he shut his eyes, heat pooling in his lower stomach. "im gonna cum.. im gonna–" he came directly in your mouth, cussing under his breath. "fuck.."
he opened his eyes, as you pulled away, mouth filled with his cum. "you dont have to swallow—spit it–...nevermind." he sighed when you swallowed anyways.
"tastes bitter, but a bit sweet." you muttered, wiping your mouth. "did i hurt you?" you asked innocently after, standing up.
"no, no.. that might have been the best orgasm ive ever had."

a/n - one more part!!
part one
over the next 2 days you haven't been over at the wheeler's house.
you hadn't realized mike's been stalking you since that morning. sneaking out his house, out the farm, just to follow you to places he knew you would be. even going as far to watch you through your bedroom window, watching your parents yell at you for unnecessary things, saying things a parent should never say to their child.
he knows whats happening. all of it.
he even watched you go on a picnic with the boy your parents set you up with.
the whole time he watched from afar while his blood boiled, his fists clenched in rage, as he watched that boy touch you, brush your hair behind your ears.. hold your hand even if you were uncomfortable with it.
meanwhile you sat there bored out of your mind, feeling your skin crawl as you swore you felt someone's eyes on you, but you brushed it off.
mike continued watching your face, how you had to force a smile, pretend you were interested even though you didnt give a shit about the man's home life. you just wanted to go home..
all mike wanted to do was just storm over there and rip that jackass away from you, maybe turn him into livestock at the farm. but he didnt. he just sat there, and waited, and watched you suffer through this date.
god, how he hated this. he hated your forced smiles, your discomfort, the boredom written all over your face. why couldnt the jackass take the hint you weren't interested in him, and didnt wanna marry him?
later, as the sun had gone down, and it was nighttime now, mike followed you two from afar, as the prick walked you home. he stayed hidden, hiding behind trees, bushes even, as he followed you two all the way to your house.
the way the bastard had his arm wrapped around your shoulder pissed mike off even more. he gritted his teeth as the guy touched you so easily, like he had some sort of right over you.. like you two were dating already as he walked you to your porch.
all mike wanted to do was rip you away from that guy. he wanted you in his arms, he wanted to hide you away from the world and keep you safe. do anything as long as it meant that asshole wouldnt touch you again.
mike creeped up to the side of your house, hiding while he watched you through the windows.
he watched your mom open her mouth to ask how the date was, but before she could even ask, you had stormed upstairs and locked yourself in your room, tears already streaming down your face.
you hated it all. hated that boy, hated your parents.. hated steve for not even trying to help you.
mike bit his lip as he watched you cry, and tear out papers in your diary in frustration.
he wanted nothing more than to just hold you and kiss those tears away. but he couldnt. not yet. not til he got rid of the obstacle in his way. so he just stands there, protecting you the only way he can right now by watching over you.
each sob you let out was a knife to his heart. he just wanted to hold you, and whisper that everything would be okay. And that you would never have to go on a date you didnt want to go on ever again.
in that moment, mike knew he had to do something with only 3 days left until friday.
he could easily break into your room, scoop you up and just take you away from all of this, protect you on his farm for the rest of your lives—the thought eats at his mind. the temptation to do it is almost too much.
you opened your window, and looked up at the sky, nails digging into your hands as you cried, mike hid a bit more just to be discreet. "i just want them dead.." you sobbed to yourself. "all 3 of them.."
mike's heart shatters as he heard those words. he really wanted to take you away from the family who doesnt appreciate you, the family who'd just marry you off for more money, power, and status. he can't stand your sobs. the way you're hurting.
mike clenched his fists tighter, the sound of your sobs becoming too much. "I should kill him, and fucking sell him as livestock.." mike whispered to himself. referring to the guy your parents planned to marry you off to.
just then your mom called from downstairs. "selene! dinner!"
you slowly wiped your face, trying your best to hide the fact you were crying, as you closed your window.
mike hated the fact you were going to have dinner with the same people who made you cry. he didnt want to think about it, he was irritated enough already.
"friday.." he whispered to himself. "dont forget." then he dissappeared from wherever he was, before anyone could catch him lurking like some lovesick creep.
25 minutes later, mike finally made his way back to his families farm, all the way from town. the walk home had been quiet, the only sounds being the crickets roaming around outside.
the barns finally came into view which meant he was home. mike quietly slipped into a barn, acting like he had been doing work with the animals the entire time he had been gone.
he leaned against the wooden wall of the farm, running his hands through his hair. he kicked a pile of straw hard enough to send it flying, as an animal shifted uneasily in its stall.
"fuck.." he breathed. "I gotta get her out of there."
a shadow lurked outside, mike noticed but didnt turn around or care. he was too focused on you.
but his head snapped up when the barn door opened, and nancy walked in, hearing everything and knowing exactly who he was talking about, you.
"you heard nothing!" mike yelled at her, clearly annoyed she was watching him. nancy just smiles at him. "you were always bad at keeping secrets, mike." she said, turning her head to the road. "you think she'd stay with you if she knew what we're hiding?"
mike just stared at her. guilt and rage swarming inside of him. he knows shes right. he just doesn't wanna admit it.
"shes not gonna find anything out." he grumbled.
"and if she does?" nancy snaps back, crossing her arms as mike's jaw clenched.
mike doesn't answer right away, just stares down at the ground. "then she'll stay." he finally speaks. "cause m'not letting her go that easily."
nancy just snorts at that, shaking her head in disbelief. "you really believe she wont run the second she sees what our family does? that you can keep her here?"
mike's head finally turns up to face her. "yes. even if i have to lock her in this fucking barn, in our basement myself. shes not leaving."
nancy sighs at that. "you're so whipped. y'know that?"
mike doesn't even deny it. just kicks the dirt beneath him. how can he, when he knows its true? when at this rate he's following you around constantly?
nancy steps closer. "you really think dad wont notice you sneaking her in here? moving her around just so nobody will find her tied up?"
"you really believe he won't notice?? that she wont try to escape? that dad isn't already suspicious of her? that she wont have a heart attack when she figures out what we do?" nancy asks.
"she'll stay." he replies. his voice still calm, though he's doubtful. "and dad—"
"he'll kill her, y'know that?? he'll kill her unless you get her into the family business." nancy interrupted him.
"bullshit." mike says, though his calm voice wavers at that. nancy's expression changes when he won't listen, still trying to get this into his thick skull.
"I won't let him do anything to her." he whispered.
"oh right, dad's just gonna let you take some rich girl in, like some sort of fairytale. you know what he'll do to her. have you seen 'that' barn lately?? we haven't exactly been getting enough 'livestock' recently."
"shut up."
"no it's true, but you're seriously that delusional to believe it, huh?"
"maybe I am, nancy. and I mean it—and nobody, not even dad, will keep me away from getting her."
he stepped closer. getting right up in nancy's face.
"ill marry her, nancy. If it means keeping her safe from all this. If it means keeping her here with me."
when mike said that, it caught nancy off guard for the first time in this whole conversation. "...you'd really do that, just to keep her in your little fantasy world?" she questioned. her eyes inspecting his face, trying to figure out why he's so hellbent on holding onto you.
"yes."
nancy continued staring, still trying to figure him out. "you're really in love with her." she says it, like its a revelation.
she lets out a humorless laugh.
"oh my god, you really are."
she shakes her head, still not able to really believe it.
"you're actually batshit insane for her. you're gonna get killed, y'know that??" she snorts.
"so what if I do." mike replied, catching her off guard once more, then she recovers.
"wow. you're pathetic." she says, no real bite in it, but really, just pity. "you really think you can just.. marry some rich girl, and drag her into all of this..?"
mike doesnt blink at that. "yeah."
then nancy sighs, almost soft.
"you're really serious about this, arent you.."
"..I am." he says, with no hesitation.
nancy sighs again when she doesnt see any signs of doubt in his expression.
"you're an idiot, you know that?"
"so you think i should just give up then?? let her go??" he says, gritting his teeth.
nancy hesitates, before responding. "it might be the smartest move."
"you really think im gonna give up that easy nance?" he says, his heart twisting.
"no, not really."
she sighs, and then stepped back.
"if you're gonna marry her into the family, make sure in the welcoming ceremony, that you switch the human meat out, for real meat. if steve was disgusted by it when he found out what it was made of, she'll definitely be disgusted by it judging by her reaction to the smell of the 'bacon' the other day before mom switched it back to real bacon."
mikes expression darkens. something feral flickering in his eyes.
"then help me, nancy."
nancy blinks at him, caught off guard by what he requested. "you—you really think i can cover this shit up for you?"
"I know you can," he said. his voice going quieter. "because like you said, if dad finds out what I'm planning before she does, he'll definitely fucking kill her."
"..fine. ill help. only cause i dont want both of you to end up dead." nancy said, slumping against the wall.
"but.. didnt she say she was going on a breakfast date last time we saw her, mike?"
"shes going to get engaged. her parents forced her into it." mike muttered, as nancys head snapped up at that.
"gosh mike, how are you two gonna get together if shes engaged?! that's just even harder!" nancy yelled.
"be quiet!—and.. that's why I need your help."
mike said, his voice taking a manic edge to it.
"..Im gonna kill him. but I can't do it alone."
"jesus, mike...kill him, and then do what with his body afterwards..? do you wanna turn him into livestock—or.."
nancy stood up straight.
"do you wanna frame it as a suicide?" she asked, glancing over at the barn door like their dad would barge in at any second.
"I wanna frame it." he says.
"okay, who's her fiance..?" nancy said, maybe knowing him since it was a small town.
and as mike told her, nancy knew exactly who he was.
nancy rubbed her temples, already regretting this.
"how about a fall from the roof, he jumped off or something—" mike proposed.
"if we frame it as a fall from the roof, they could easily figure out someone pushed him since there would be no witnesses of him jumping. we need something that would piss his family off enough to throw the harrington's to the side and forget about the proposal since their son's dead."
nancy went quiet, thinking about what to do, before getting an idea.
"we can hang him from the oak tree in the back of his house. strangle him to death first, then make his dead hang on the tree in the back as if he hung himself. the cops wont notice much."
nancy then breathed in. "and for dad? well.. we need an alibi. something that'll make him think we were here when it happened."
mike spoke up. "remember the broken fence in the back..? tell him we were up fixing it. the farm's far enough from town that it wont be enough for them to accuse us of killing him. they'll rule it a suicide."
"okay." nancy replied. "but you better make sure she doesn't find out who really did it mike. I really dont want her leaving and fucking going to the police."
"she wont, nance. not if we do it right." mike said, his voice filled with determination.
nancy studied his face for a long moment before giving up. "...you're really going through with this..? all of it?"
"every damn second."
"you're crazy, you know that?" she says, with a hint of respect in her voice.
"crazy enough to get her away from him, and keep her with me."
nancy breathed in, already mentally running through alibis, timelines, what to do if their dad figures it out.
the next night, at 3am, they commenced their plan.
the farm is eerily quiet as mike and nancy slip out their house.
mike checked his watch, breath hitching as he spoke up. "we've got 2 hours, before anyone home notices we're gone."
"okay—" nancy adjusted the gloves on her hands with a sharp tug, her eyes flickering on the road as she started driving.
they got in nancy's truck, as nancy turned her car on.
the entire ride was silent. nancy spoke up occasionally, making sure certain things in the plan was right and they both were sure about it.
around 15 minutes later nancy parked out of sight, but close enough to see into the house. they both got out, nancy going to the trunk, grabbing ropes whilst mike got out the car, messing with windows at the house quietly 'til he found one that was unlocked, climbing through the window, leaving it open to leave later.
mike quietly snuck through the house, peeking through every room until he found the guys room.
mike entered the room, then tip toed beside the mans sleeping form, hesitating for a second before wrapping the rope around his neck quickly, before shutting his eyes as he tugged the rope hard around his neck.
just then the bastard's eyes shot open, he clawed at mike's hands but it was too late, the rope was too tight, he had nothing to fight with.
it felt like forever to mike as he had the rope against the man's neck, but it takes less than a minute for him to stop struggling, as his body slowly went lifeless.
mike sighed, letting the body drop before all the tension slipped out his shoulders. staring at the corpse with a detached expression.
mike carried the body down the stairs, climbing out the window he came in from and bringing it to the backyard where nancy had set everything up.
nancy saw mike walk over, she quietly asked : "is he dead?"
mike shook his head yes.
-
mike helped nancy wrap the rope around the thick tree branch, his hands moving quickly since they had no time to waste.
once they got the body hanging on the tree, nancy quickly kicked a chair over.
"there, now it looks desperate." nancy said, almost out of breath, as mike put a whiskey bottle to spill out, making it look like a drunken suicide.
"we're done here." nancy said, rushing mike back to the truck. "ill clean everything up inside." nancy told him, leaving mike in the truck.
-
an hour later they were back at the farm, finally fixing that broken fence to help their alibi.
"you think anyone saw us..?" mike asked.
"nobody was out, mike." she replied sharply, holding the fence in place. they didnt really speak much. working in autopilot.
mike suddenly stopped. "why'd you—" nancy was about to say but he interrupted her. "do you think she'd be upset he's dead?"
"what?—"
"forget it.." he muttered, turning back to the fence.
"mike. she didnt want him—" mike suddenly hit the hammer too hard on the fence. letting out a sharp exhale. "didnt mean she wanted him dead.." mike said, the memories of your now never-to-be fiance struggling really messed him up.
"mike, you wanted him dead. why are you—"
"im just thinking about her reaction, that's why im regretting it."
"well, you didnt really think too much about it when you killed him.." nancy whispered to herself, mike clearly didnt hear.
"fuck.. I hope she'll be fine by friday." mike says, too caught up in his own thoughts to even notice nancy talking to him.
nancy just shook her head in disbelief and continued holding the fence in place.
-
later that day, around 9am, your parents were driving you to his house so they could meet his parents, and they can discuss engagement party arrangements.
but then they saw police cars, his parents car still packed with their vacation stuff, them talking to cops outside, his mother sobbing and utterly destroyed, and his dad just looking dissapointed.
your parents exchanged concerned glances in the front seat as they pulled up.
you looked up from your lap, as your dad reached out and squeezed your shoulder.
"its gonna be okay, honey." he said, with fake sympathy. "lets just go see what's happening, maybe it's not too bad.."
you nodded numbly, fingers clutching at the strap of your purse, your heart pounding in your chest as you got out your car along with your parents.
his mom looked up and just started crying even more when she saw you.
"oh.. oh sweetheart, im so sorry.." she sobs, pulling you into a hug as you stood there confused.
"what? what happened..??"
his mom choked on a sob, hands flying to her mouth as his dad stepped foward.
"hes gone." he spoke, voice hollow. "early this morning. we came home and found him."
a police officer spoke up from behind.
"we're investigating it as a suicide."
a beat of silence flew over the room, then your mom inhaled sharply, her hand finding your wrist, gripping it tightly. assuming you would crumple right there in the doorway.
but you didnt.
"found him in the backyard. hung himself on the oak tree." the officer said.
"we're sorry for your loss, but we have some questions if you're up to it, it'll help with our investigation." someone said.
-
you sat with an officer somewhere that nobody was.
"did you know if he was dealing with any signs of depression? drug use? alcohol abuse?"
"..no, but he drank on our dates.." you said, not sure if that was even good enough.
"any other stuff you know of?" she asked.
"I dont know, I only knew him for a few days! i didn't know him too well."
"and you didnt notice anything? didnt drink with him? or use any drugs?"
"no!–"
-
20 minutes later you finally got let go from questions.
the driveway was filled with silence. til your mom spoke up with fake, unshed tears. "I can't believe this.." she whispered. "he was so young, it doesn't make any sense." she said, putting a hand to her chest, performing just for your dad and your ex-...soon-to-be fiance??'s parents.
your dad's jaw clenched, as he looked at the ground. "you should've seen the signs, (reader)."
he says, his voice hollow.
their act was so convincing, as your mom hugged his mom, consoling her as she cried.
as soon as you got in the car, your mom's act dissolves like smoke. her posture straightens and she lets out a sharp exhale. "well.. that was unfortunate." she says. "he was a nice boy, I would've loved for you to marry him, guess fate had other plans..!"
your dad rubbed his temples before turning to face you. "you handled that well." he said, assuming you were also acting. ignoring the fact you seemed disturbed.
"well, I dont even think we need to inform everyone the engagements off, they'll assume it is since he's dead."
your mom says, fixing her hair.
"okay.. lets just get home, please." you said, voice barely a choked whisper.
"okay, no point in staying here any longer." your dad said, starting the car, as you tried to block out the sound of your parent's discussion.
you didn't know how to feel.
you didn't feel sad, or happy he was dead, just happy you didn't have to marry him, but how do you even deal with this?
you felt numb. your dad's tapping on the steering wheel is a sharp sound that just drills into your skull.
meanwhile, mike was sitting with nancy in their living room, when mr. wheeler had come home, coming back from town.
he immediately went to the living room, staring the two down.
"a boy died this morning. hung himself in his backyard."
his eyes darted between nancy and mike.
"you two know anything about this?"
mike's body locks up when he hears that, almost choking. nancy's meanwhile, tenses up.
"no." she answered for the both of them.
"we were fixing that broken fence in the back.. you know this."
mr. wheeler's eyes narrowed at them, then turned to mike specifically. "you sure about that?"
"yes." mike said. "we fixed the fences, you can go look.."
"alright." he grumbled." "if you say so." he says, somewhat convinced as he turned the other way, and dissappeared through the door.
just then nancy smacked the back of mike's head.
"ow.."
"that was too close. we have to be more careful next time.—or you could just act better next time." she snarks at him.
"sorry." he muttered, rolling his eyes.
-
2 days later it was finally friday.
it was 6pm, two hours before you had to meet mike.
mike had went out to clear his head before the moment.
the town was busy like usual, kids biking, people driving, running errands before stuff closed.
suddenly he saw you biking, looking upset.
his eyes widened.—he wasnt expecting to see you for another two hours.
without really thinking you biked past him really fast, not noticing he was there.
"hey! (reader)!" he shouted at you, before you stopped.
he jogged over to you, then straightened up as he was infront of you.
"are you okay? you look.. really upset."
"the.. the guy.. I was being forced to go out with.. he killed himself, mike." you said, in a shaky tone.
"oh shit... seriously?" mike said, despite his jaw tightening, putting up his best act to sound shocked.
"jesus.. are you okay?"
he took a step closer, studying your face with a furrowed brow. trying to ignore the way his heart was beating so fast.
"I just—i dont know how to feel."
mike hesitated, he wasn't expecting you to say that.
"thats.. heavy." he whispered.
a wave of silence went by as he watched you closely. "you want me to walk with you for a bit?" he says.
you let out a quiet noise.
"..okay."
mike nodded, keeping pace with you as you started biking again. he shoved his hands into his pockets, trying to act fine.
"so.. you were gonna marry him?" he asked after a moment.
his voice sounds too careful, like he's trying to get information out of you without sounding too obvious.
"I don't.. know."
he glanced at you from the corner of his eye, watching your expression carefully. "right." he muttered, still pretending to be casual as he matched your pace.
"we only went out for a few days. I got forced into it, remember..?"
"forced by your parents, right?"
"..yeah."
"damn, that sucks.." mike says, his voice surprisingly genuine. "im sorry about that—thats.. rough."
mike looked at you.
"why'd you say yes, then? if you didnt want him to marry you?"
"um. I probably would've gotten kicked out.. or sent away." you say, being honest as you avoided his gaze.
his expression darkens at that, "your parents seem like assholes..—no offense. glad you didnt.. y'know, get sent away though."
"their image is important to them.. really fucks me and steve up."
"they're making steve do shit like that too?" mike asked. pissed on your behalf. "not as bad, but yeah."
"thats.. fucked up. parents are supposed to support us, not use you as puppets for their image." he grumbled, getting mad.
"its messed up how they use you two like that."
"can we.. change the topic?" you ask. "I didnt really wanna think about this right now."
"yeah, yeah.. of course."
it was quiet now. only sounds being mike's footsteps, and the wheels turning on your bike.
"mike, about the thing today.. at 8. what did you need from me?" you ask, innocently. "did you need me to help you with something in the barn you told me to come to?"
he hesitated, suddenly remembering that.
"oh—that." he rubbed the back of his neck, looking a bit uncomfortable. "yeah, I could use some help with something, in the barn."
he shoved his hands into his pockets.
he had you right here right now. he could just.. bring you now instead of later.
"actually, (reader)—.. follow me." he said. "lets go there now." he said, starting to walk in the way of his families farm.
30 minute later, you two were infront of the barn's door.
"I need to show you something." he said, suddenly not looking at you, his voice strained.
he opened the barn doors, then took you to a metal door in the back. handing you the key.
"what?—why are you giving me this..?"
you asked.
"just open it." he said, strangely tense, on edge.
just then nancy had walked in, but you didnt notice, however, mike did, as you touched the door handle, it was freezing.
mike mouthed to nancy that their 'plan' was happening now.
nancy had quickly left, going to get the "thing' they needed for it.
"mike, how do you open this..?" you asked quietly. "just turn it to the left–yeah. like that." he said, encouraging you.
you slowly opened it, expecting a surprise or something related to the barn, but the sight that greeted you was horrible.
your eyes widened and you dropped the keys.
what greeted you inside was a room full of hanging corpses, in plastic bags.
"mike.. mike—what the fuck is this!?" you cried out, freaked out.
you backed away slowly.
"they're dead... they're all dead—" you cried.
you're about to scream but suddenly you felt mike's hand clamp over your mouth, then restrain you.
"MMPH!?" you let out a muffled noise that's mixed with a scream and a sob.
mike grimaced as you screamed. trying to hold you tight despite your struggling.
"shh—goddamnit.." he hissed at you. "calm down."
you were convinced he was gonna kill you.
"MMM! MM—"
mike's heart was hammering in his ears, felt like it would burst at any moment.
"shut up! just be quiet, be quiet okay?!" he whispers hoarsely, surprisingly calm. "stop fighting me.. goddamnit.."
just then nancy walked in, holding a syringe.
"hurry up!' he yelled at her, breathing hard through his nose.
"alright, alright!" she says, moving quickly, disliking this whole situation since it was so risky.
she tossed the syringe at him.
he caught it, having you in a chokehold as you cried.
"please.." you whimpered.
mike's hands shook, fingers fumbling with the syringe as he gripped it.
"this'll make everything better, (reader). just stay still." he whispered in your ears.
you shut your eyes, shaking as he injected something into your veins.
slowly, you couldnt move your body. but you were still conscious.
"jesus, I hate that.." mike muttered, as nancy closed the freezer with the dead bodies, locking it.
"okay.. I think.. I think it worked." mike said when he noticed you weren't fighting anymore. just sobbing.
he ran his hands through your hair, silently trying to comfort you. "you're gonna be alright, its okay." he whispered, his voice wavering. "please.. please dont kill me." you whimpered. "im not.. im not gonna kill you." he says, quietly, his voice thick.
"then why am I here?! why did you make me look at dead bodies!" I choke out. "because I needed you to see this! okay?!" he let out heavy breaths. "you had to. or else you wouldnt have understood."
"understood what?! that you're killing people??" you couldnt even feel mad. the drug calming everything but your tears.
"mike, just tell her." nancy says quickly. paranoid their dad would walk in. "shut up nancy." mike snaps at her, sucking in a sharp breath, shutting his eyes.
nancy glares at him, going quiet. "mike..." she warns him.
he slowly picked you up, bridal style. unsure how to hold you.
"just.. quit crying. im getting you away from the bodies, okay?' he said. as you looked at the locked door.
"dont look at it.. look at me." he says, trying to comfort you, despite having bad intentions.
"just stop crying. I have to tell you the truth."
he says as you let out another cry, quieter this time. you were scared shitless.
"those bodies? our families been selling human meat for generations. making it look like real meat. almost everyone in hawkins has had human meat if they've bought from my dad."
he said, rocking your paralyzed body in his arms as he slowly walked you out the barn.
you were quiet, just horrified.
he can feel you shaking in his arms, and his eyes dropped to your face.
"you still with me?"
"..WHY, just WHY??" you yelled at him.
his jaw clenched again. "money." he admits after a bit. "less expensive to kill a human than raise more and more animals."
he said, rocking you as he carried you out.
they walked right out the barn into the cold night air.
they walked all the way to the main house, mike not even speaking the whole time, neither does nancy.
you tried not to cry again, letting out hiccups.
"shh. I know its bad." he mutters, voice rough.
"you wont be paralyzed for too long."
nancy lets out a breath behind you two. "just hurry mike, before someone sees us."
mike walks around to the side of the main house, staying close to the shadows, scanning the area for any of his family members.
mike glanced down at you as you started to slump in his arms. "easy." he said softly. "don't pass out, we're almost there."
-
around 3 minutes later, mike kicked his bedroom door open, and walked inside, quietly placing you on his bed carefully.
"you still with me?" he asked.
"why.."
"why what?"
"why would you do this to me.." you hiccup.
mikes fingers went to your cheek.
"selene.." he starts, voice quiet.
"im sorry, i—fuck.."
"micheal.. please dont kill me.."
"im not gonna kill you, stop saying that." he snaps. "just stay still, let the drug wear off."
"I dont.. I dont wanna be livestock.." you cry. not believing him.
"you're not gonna be livestock. you never were gonna be."
nancy let out a hard sigh.
"just tell her the rest of the truth already!" she said.
he glared at nancy before looking back at you. "okay, let me explain.."
"theres more? is it.. is it just gonna get worse from here..?"
synopsis - mike wheeler's always been bullied for his parents owning a livestock farm, especially with an eerie looking, foul smelling barn that always made people gag when they walked by.. you never cared, always stuck by his side. but what do you do when one day his family starts acting weird, and the whole barn suddenly seems creepy to you, a wealthy girl with dreams of becoming an actress, and getting out your parents house..? is getting out even possible when your parents plan to marry you off, and with mike & his family getting weirder by the day?
warning : this story has horror elements, mike & reader are 18, reader & steves parents are assholes.
part two
you were an aspiring actress. but being trapped in this home with only two normal people? and one being you, and the other being steve?
pure hell.
didnt make it any better that steve was never home nowadays, or the fact that nobody batted an eye, even when they saw the bruises on your wrist, even though they didnt know what was happening inside your home.
everyone always assumed you got what you wanted cause your family was wealthy. If anyone noticed something was off, they still wouldnt care. nobody would wanna mess with a wealthy family either way. so how could you get out and embrace your dreams?
you didnt know. so for a temporary distraction, you went to the wheeler's farm everyday. just to feel free, just to not feel so suffocated in a place you wished wasn't your home.
mike was nice, his sister's seemed normal, his mom was welcoming, and his dad.. was just his dad?
you would watch mike feed the animals every morning. clean up the litter people would throw daily, help mike wipe the vandalism off barns.
it all just didnt feel weird to you, maybe you were just stupid..? for a livestock farm.. they sure did keep a lot of animals alive.. always wondered how they produced so much meat, yet you always saw the same animals everyday, for months.. years..
even steve gave you a look when he was up early and saw you about to bike off to the wheeler's..
"why do you even hang around that kid still?" steve would ask. "just.. quit hanging out with him." he'd say, seeming hesitant to say much about it.
but he would never give you a reason, and would always avoid nancy, which caused nancy to give you odd glances when you were over at the farm.
& you still would never listen. you'd just keep going, and going, and going, every single day to that farm. helping out. coming over at 5, staying til it was lunchtime, and you had to go home to the house you hated.
you didnt care. you didnt care about every creepy sign you should've seen. you just wanted a way out of that house. and that way was mike!
so when your parents started to attempt to marry you off, forcing a proposal on you, what more could you do then go to mike for comfort and a distraction?
but your parents didnt like that.
"you may think hes a douche, or a jackass, but he's good for you. you'll be set for life. we make sacrifices in this family, and this may be a good one for you, so dont be selfish, (reader)." your mom said when she saw your face.
"better than that farmer-boy you're always with." your dad perked up.
you looked at steve for support but he just stared at his plate, picking at the food, looking disgusted at the meat on it.
"those wheeler's.. always stinking up the damn road with those damn animals and that damn barn." your dad said, his nose scrunching up at just thinking about the smell. "they have no class. you're better off with the boy we've set you up with."
"just give up on these stupid dreams. It's not realistic. you're 18 now. grow up." she said, taking a bite of the same meat she just shit-talked about. the same meat she purchased at the wheeler's stand at the marketplace.
you stayed quiet the whole time, keeping your head on the plate infront of you, also picking at the food.
your parents spoke about unimportant things, and occasionally brought up the farm, complaining about the oder again.
steve seemed tense.. still not eating. you watched him feed the dog the meat secretly,
while your parents seemed distracted with their conversation, you wondered why steve never ate the meat everytime you guys had it for dinner..?
the air felt thicker suddenly, your mom laughs at something your dad said, whilst steves knuckles turned white as he gripped the edge of the table.
you were just.. sick of this. you planned to go to mikes house in the morning, so you just decided to go to sleep.
"mom, dad, im tired. I'm gonna go to bed." you said, not even looking at steve. your dad looked over. "already? you havent even ate anything and its only 8pm—"
"im tired. its been a long day." you say, interrupting him, as your mom looked at you with suspicion. she knows something is off, but your dad speaks instead. "just go to bed then. no point in arguing if you're so insistent on it." he snarked, continuing to eat.
"...okay." you say, pushing your chair back, and stood up.
steve's head snapped up as you stood. wanting to say something, but kept quiet when your dad gave him a look.
the dog under the table whined as you left, the floorboards creaking under you as you went upstairs.
-
the next morning, you woke up early, brushing your hair and putting a jacket on, since it seemed to be freezing when you poked your head out the window.
it wasnt even bright outside yet. it had to be atleast half past 5.
before anyone could even notice you were gone, you practically ran out the house, before steve woke up, and scolded you once more for going to that farm.
you biked fast, your breathing heavy, as you seemed to be in a rush to just get to the farm, biking past houses, as the sun rose above you for what seemed like a long time, til you saw the gate to the farm.
you slowly got off the bike, then hopped over the gate, leaving your bike outside, as you walked up the trail to inside the farm— seeing tons of cows behind fences, you knew you were almost to the barns where mike would be.
you had walked by 1 or 2 barns by now..
but then you stopped in your tracks when you saw a dead bird. flies swarming around it. "oh.. oh god.." you breathed. slowly walking towards it.
it had to have gotten shot, there was a huge hole in the middle of its chest— gosh the wound was gruesome.. the poor bird was nearly solution in half. it had to have been shot recently, since blood was still seeping out.
you knelt down, reaching your hand out, as your stomach churned. your curiosity getting the best of you as you poked the bird with your finger.
suddenly you heard a loud door open, your head practically springing up as mike walked out the barn which was to the right side of you.
he had a deadpanned expression on his face, eyebags under his eyes.. you slowly looked at his hands, dried blood under the nails, which you always assumed was from bloody meat.
he stared at you, and the horrified expression on your face, then his eyes darted to the deceased bird infront of you. "dont touch that." he said quietly. really. quietly, as the smell of farm dirt, and the metallic scent of blood filled your nose as he walked closer, not aggressively, just staring at you like you were prey sensing danger, but the way he was acting normal about this was enough to creep you out. like someone hadn't shot a damn bird on his families farm.
"just.. go inside the house, (reader)." he grumbled, referring to his families main house, which was away from the barns. his voice was rougher than it usually was. "I have to clean this."
"inside.. yeah..—okay.." you muttered, barely thinking, your head spinning as you stood up, shaking, still in shock, then ran down the road from the farm, to the wheeler's main house.
mike watched you run off, the lines on his face deepening with each step you took. he watched you run, til you dissappeared out of his line of sight. he took a breath.. slow and controlled.
"fuck..—NANCY!" he yelled, kicking the dead bird. already pissed off at the fact she shot a bird, and you saw it. he just really fucking hoped you didnt see HER. shoot it.
meanwhile, you opened the unlocked front door, closing it behind you and breathing heavily.
you opened your eyes and saw mrs. wheeler in the kitchen, making breakfast, like this was a normal morning for her.
she looked up when she heard the front door open, noticing your expression and your entire body shaking.
"you alright, dear?" she asked, giving you a concerned look.
she looked so innocent. like she didnt know what was happening on the farm just like you didnt know. if only you knew.
you gulped, and nodded.
"are you staying for breakfast? if so, I can make an extra batch of—"
"no, no! its fine. im not hungry." you say, while your hands shook, as you got off the door and slowly made your way to the kitchen,
you saw mr. wheeler on the couch, holding something you couldnt see, a gun? a knife? you dont know. he looked up from the tv, slowly turning, and staring at you with this weird look in his eyes, that scared the absolute fuck out of you—
but then you realized mike had walked in, along with nancy, since the noise of the door shutting distracted you from ted's creepy stare.
"you should eat, (reader)." he said, his voice too casual, slithering like oil. mrs. wheeler froze mid-pour of coffee, her smile tightening when she noticed that tone in mikes voice. like he was pretending everything was fine.
"you came all this way so early, you must be hungry." he said, with a smile that didnt quite reach his eyes. "..dont want you passing out from hunger on your way back home."
"he's right, y'know." nancy said, moving past mike as she placed a gun against the wall.
you were just lost for words.
"i—okay. ill eat." you say, your hands still shaking. mike exhaled once he heard that. it felt too forced, as he put his hands on your shoulders, guiding you to the dining room and making you sit. "theres eggs, pancakes.." he mutters. "and bacon."
the smell of the bacon makes your stomach churn again, as mrs. wheeler hums like this is just a normal morning routine, as she brought more plates of food to the table, calling holly down to eat, as ted stood up and took his seat at the head of the table. staring at you with that same unblinking stare.
nancy sat infront of you, with this sickening smile on her face. "you look pale." she says, sweetly. like she enjoys seeing you in this state.
"I just didnt.. sleep well last night, nance." you say, whilst nancy's eyebrows raise innocently, as holly plopped down next to her,
mrs. wheeler placed one more plate onto the table, before adding "a lot of teenagers have problems sleeping nowadays. probably a hormonal thing."
mike finally plopped down next to you onto a chair. as nancy spoke again, finally picking up her fork with an eerie grin. "you should eat more, (reader). gotta keep your strength up." she says, as ted snorts like it's funny.
holly stayed quiet, it was like she was the most innocent out of all of this.
"soo.. you and mike have been spending a LOT of time together (reader)." mrs. wheeler said, smiling at you once more.
mike's fork suddenly clattered onto his plate next to you, as his head snapped up. "shes just been helping." he says, a little too fast. "with the–the animals. feeding them.. you know how she is."
nancy snorts into her coffee cup, and mr. wheeler's eyes darted up at that. like somethings turning in his head. whilst mrs. wheeler's smile brightened at that. "i didnt realize mike was letting you near our livestock.."
"oh–uh.. yeah, sometimes.. he does." you say quietly. "you are just so sweet (reader). the animals must adore you." she says. while mike tenses up next to you, practically just shoving eggs into his mouth to silence himself, nearly shaking with suppressed anger.
"I even heard one of the animals let you pet them the other day. isnt that just sweet?" she says, as mike nearly choked on his eggs. his nails digging into the tablecloth, as you silently wondered what was wrong with him.
"well isnt that just something." mr. wheeler spoke up. "you'd think those goddamn animals wouldve ran away from the stench of the barn, wouldn't you." ted said, wondering if you had made fun of the farm like every other kid in this town.
"uh.." you started. questioning how to even answer this, as mike just went still next to you, nancy's smile widens like shes just enjoying this. "ignore him honey, he's just grumpy from sleeping bad last night."
meanwhile mike was just silently cussing at everyone in his mind, while you just felt creeped out and uncomfortable at his families new demeanor.
you looked up at them slowly. "well.. I have to go home, early. I uh. have a date, a breakfast date, i just wanted to stop by.." you say with a smile that nearly cracked.
mike nearly spat out his orange juice at that.
-
he followed you out.
"(reader), (reader)!" he yelled, mixed with hints of concern, anger, fear, something. as he ran after you, grabbing your hand, holding you back.
"a breakfast date? really??" he said. "with who. atleast tell me that." he pleaded. "this boy.. my parents set me up with." you say, half-lie, half-truth, there was no date. you just needed out of that house.
"I just.. need to go home to get changed, mike." mike bit his lip, stuffing something cold into your hand, before randomly kissing your cheek.
he heard you were going on a date and still kissed your cheek.
"just wait til you get home to look at it." he whispered into your ear.
"wha..." you say, as he backed away. his expression tense.
"micheal, you cant just kiss me like that,—i—im engaged!—" you sputtered out, as he nearly fainted when he heard that.
"...fuck." he rubbed his hands over his face. he really had to do this fast. "on friday, at 8, I want you to come to the barn, okay..?" he says. his breathing erratic now.
"what barn—which one?" you ask. "that one." he points at the one everyone hates. the one that stinks. "the.. the one that fucking stinks??" you ask. "yes, and just come alone. dont fucking ask why. I just need you to come. use the thing in your hand to get in." as said that in a forceful tone, you assumed it had to be a key.

a/n: your wish is my command!! I hope you like it anon!! 🥺
⚠️ : smut below, nipple-sucking, fingering (reader receiving.), oral (basically reader is just recieving everything.), and dominant nancy 🥺
the two of you sat on your bed, in silence.
you two just kissed, on accident. you kinda freaked out since nancy was literally your brother's friend's sister.
nancy just looked at you, while you looked away. your eyes lowered to the ground.
"hey." nancy called out to you. "look at me, okay?" she said, slowly cupping your cheek and making you turn your head to face her, as your eyes went toward her face. her cheeks were flushed a light pink, her expression blank as she looked at you with a hint of something you couldnt place in her eyes.
"do you.. regret kissing me?" she asked suddenly. you were just lost for words. "nonono! I liked it–it just.." "felt wrong?" she cut you off.
"a little.. yeah.. since you're mike's older sister.. and—oh fuck.. lucas is gonna kill me if they ever find out we kissed." you said, stuffing your face in your hands, freaking out. "(reader), cmon. don't do that. they dont have to know—we.. can just hide this. us." nancy said slowly moving your hands out your face.
".. us..?" you replied back. "yeah, us." she said with a shaky smile. before it slowly dissappeared, she looked almost.. hesitant before asking : "can I kiss you again?" you slowly nodded your head, before nancy cupped your cheeks with both of her soft hands, then leaned in to kiss you.
her lips were so soft against yours.. it didnt feel so wrong to kiss her anymore. it felt good. you could taste her strawberry lip gloss on your tongue while she kissed you slowly, the kiss getting rough and fast at moments.
then, she slowly pushed her hands into your shirt, cupping your breasts over your bra. your nipples hardening slowly. "ah–nancy..—" you mewled against her lips, as she pinched and tugged your nipples through your bra.
she slowly pulled away. "can you put your arms up for me honey?" she whispered, as you nodded, feeling dizzy from that kiss, like it wasnt real. you put your arms up like she asked, and she swiftly pulled your shirt off. "nice bra." she said, staring at your (favorite color) colored bra. "thanks.." you replied back.
nancy wrapped her hands around your back, unclipping your bra. she immediately let her hands go to your chest, and groped it, then her fingers slowly moved to your nipples. "aah!" you moaned, biting your hand so nobody home would hear you moaning.
nancy looked up at you to see your face expressions whilst she pinched and tugged on your nipples. "does it feel good, (reader)?" she questioned. "mhm.. really good, nance..." you whimpered as a response. suddenly you felt something wet and warm against your nipple, it was her tongue, she licked a stripe across your nipple, before popping it into her mouth. "oh—fuck–thats so good nancy—" you cried out.
her right hand was pinching and playing with your other nipple, her thumb slowly rubbing it, then both her hands went down your waist, tugging your pants off. "can you lay back for me...?" she asked, as you did so.
her mouth went back to your nipples, before she slowly kissed her way down your stomach. then she pressed a kiss to your clothed pussy, before licking a stripe up. your hips twitch slightly at the contact.
"up." she said, nudging your hips up, peeling your panties off. you slowly opened your legs for her. "you're so wet for me honey..." she cooed, nudging a finger against your slit, tracing it slowly up to your clit.
"please.." you whimpered. "please what, honey?" she asked. "please... touch me.." you said, your cheeks feeling hot.
nancy's thumb slowly started rubbing circles on your clit. "do you like it when I touch you here?" she asked. looking up. "oh—ah! yes!" you cried out, biting your hand again to muffle your moans.
she just started rubbing your clit harder, and faster. "you're getting so wet.." she said. "are you close? are you gonna cum for me baby?" nancy asked, you nodded. feeling a warm heat in your tummy. "im so close, nancy.."
your hips twitched more, as the heat in your tummy released, an orgasm crashing over you. "ah! nancy!" you cried out her name, as she continued rubbing you through your orgasm.
your body went limp against the bed, your breathing heavy, as your eyes shut.
nancy gave you a minute, before opening your legs again. "wh–you aren't done..?" you asked her. "far from done." she answered, slowly pushing a finger against your entrance as it slowly sunk in, you cried out in pleasure. forgetting all about your surroundings, as she pumped her finger in and out your hole, then slowly sunk a second one in.
her fingers moved faster, curling inside of you, your walls gripping around it, like it didnt wanna let her fingers go.
"you're so tight.." she murmured, scissoring her fingers, then curling them, hitting your sweet spot as you swore you were gonna die from how good it felt.
"nancy–nancy! im cumming! im cumming again–" you moaned out, feeling another one coming. as you shut your eyes, your head rolling back, your face in bliss.
"ghh—im cumming—" you mewled again, as wetness soaked nancy's fingers, leaking onto the bed.
your head spun, everything nancy did felt so good..
"you alright?" she asked, randomly wrapping your legs around her shoulders. "yeah.. yeah.. m'fine.." you replied, still dizzy from the last orgasm.
a minute later, you opened your eyes, as you felt nancy's breath against your pussy. "huh..—wait nancy– nomore–no—ah!" you cried out, hips bucking against her face as she ate you out.
"mm—you can cum for me again, cant you?" she moaned against you, licking your clit again, before sucking it.
you nearly screamed from how good it felt, and the overstimulation. "oh fuck! oh nancy!" you moaned out. then feeling her tongue slip in your hole.
she started tongue fucking you, guiding your hips down, grinding your core onto her tongue.
your hand went to her hair, pulling it slightly as your back arched off the bed. "fuck–holy fuck!—" you cried out. your vision going white for a second, as you came for a third time.
nancy slowly pulled away, wiping her mouth covered with your slick. "you taste good." she said with a smile, like she didnt just take 3 orgasm's out of you.
you breathed for air, as nancy placed a soft kiss onto your lips. "ill go get you some water.." she said, standing up.
you still couldnt believe all this happened cause of an accident kiss..
notes : a chapter with max and reader.. 👀 and mike. and el!! 🤍
⚠️ : mentions of vomit.
you woke up two days later to hear knocking on your bedroom window, which you seem to wake up alot to recently!
you open your curtains, and see max standing there.
"hey, (reader) I need to talk to you, like really bad." max said.
"..about what.. what could be so important you woke me up at 10am, ON A SATURDAY."
"just let me talk.."
"so.. I kinda found out that um. el and mike have been hanging out again.."
max said, cautiously, not wanting to upset you.
"woah—max.. what?? are you sure its el, and not some other.. brunette??"
you ask.
"im positive."
max replied back.
"max.. I dont mind if they hang out, as long as they aren't, yknow. doing anything bad.."
you trail off.
"they aren't doing anything bad right?"
"i dont know, so i came to you, and I was wondering if you.. wanted to find out with me..?"
she said.
"of course I do!?" you said, rushing off to get ready.
max stood there, sitting on your bed. looking at the big room you had. picking up your hairbrush and then just looking at the products you had, curiously.
steve literally had to take a double look over when he saw max sitting next to you at the dining table.
"(reader).. when and how did max get in here?– i dont remember the doorbell ringing.." he asked, while making pancakes.
"dont worry about that steven." you replied.
he sighed.
"is she staying for breakfast?"
"of course I am."
she replied, with a cheeky grin, you did the same.
"..you kids are gonna kill me one day. and i am not joking."
steve grumbled, despite you guys not being kids anymore, as he grabbed more pancake mix.
you and max sat huddled close to each other, your chairs literally connected. as you whispered to each other, making theories about why the hell mike and el were hanging out alone in his basement..?
"he wouldnt cheat on me, would he?"
"i mean, he has been obsessed with el these past two years.." max replied.
steve plopped down on a chair infront of you guys, across the table, placing two plates of pancakes infront of you, and then putting plates of bacon, eggs, and eggo waffles. which immediately just reminded you of el.
you and el hadn't really been close since you were kids. you usually stayed away from her during her and micheal's relationship, since it hurt just watching them together, but when you guys first met? she considered you her bestfriend. you just wouldnt know.
you and max immediately stopped chit chatting when you noticed steve just sitting there in boredom.
"are you guys gonna eat, or did i make all this for nothing?" he said.
"one second steve, gosh." you rolled your eyes. "anyways—" you went back to talking to max.
steve just spaced out, blocking you two out with a sigh. and continued to eat.
man, if he knew we were inviting friends over, he wouldve invited robin over just to be annoying back.
actually, nevermind. robin would just end up chatting away with you two.
max wandered out a 7 eleven with you an hour later.
"how can you drink something so cold right now?? its freezing.." max said, arm to arm with you.
you simply just shrugged, and and continued to drink the cherry slushie.
"okay, we're getting sidetracked. whats the plan now?"
.
you guys were quiet, sneaking down the stairs of mike's basement, and crouching down.
mike's mom let you two in after some convincing on your end.
you two heard multiple voices down there.
"so, are you gonna tell her?" someone asked, the voice you recognized as eleven's.
'tell me what??' you mouthed to max, she shrugged.
"no, not yet. I dont want.. (reader) to know yet." mike replied back.
you sat there wondering what could be so bad they weren't telling you.
"mike. I dont want her to be mad we didnt tell her about.. y'know."
el said, lowering her head. could they just say what it was already??
mike put his hands on her shoulders, looking at her comfortingly.
"its okay, el." mike said, looking at her with the same way, that you still never got.
you felt jealousy fill your chest, but what if they weren't doing anything? you wanted to believe that so bad. why didnt mike just tell you they were hanging out?
max sensed your tension, and placed a hand on your back.
what weren't they telling you?
5 minutes later, nothing had progressed. they were just talking about nonsense now.
you couldnt take it anymore.
you stood up and wandered down the stairs, and despite max trying to stop you, you still got down there, standing next to the couch where mike and el sat.
"what are you two doing together??"
you asked.
"and mike, why couldnt you just tell me you were hanging out with el, and what the fuck cant you guys just tell me??" you asked, completely upset, as max stood sheepishly behind you.
"(reader), it's not what it looks like—" mike sputtered out, standing up immediately, while el just looked at you.
"then what does it look like to you, micheal?! what is going on?! cause this just looks so wrong to me!" you said, teary eyed.
"i—..." mike was about to speak, then paused.
el lowered her head.
"we were talking about you, yeah. but we didnt want you to know we were hanging out, because we thought you'd get really mad, and now look where we are—" mike said.
"because you didnt tell me! I still wouldnt care if you guys were hanging out as friends mike!" you yelled back.
"im sorry, (reader), okay! I was just—i was just scared you'd freak out on me and just leave me." he said.
"...what you did, didnt make the chances of that not happening any better."
"what?—are you saying you're leaving me??" mike said, clearly hurt since you could hear a waver in his voice.
"yeah. maybe I am." you muttered. despite not wanting to.
you turned around and ran up the basement stairs, before any of them could see you cry.
max quickly followed after you, thank god none of the wheeler's were in the kitchen, or they wouldve seen you cry too.
max held up your hair while you vomited into a bush. you had cried too hard that all the shit you ate earlier came up. I guess cherry slushies dont mix well with breakfast!
"its okay, (reader).." max tried her best to comfort you, as you continued puking.
"hes a jerk. dont cry over him, please." she said again.
you slowly stood up straight, feeling disgusting, and used.
"max..? can you please.. just take me home?" you asked, your voice hoarse and your throat burning.
she nodded, before walking with you down the sidewalk, making sure to assist you with walking incase you were dizzy.
"are you sure you dont need any water?" she made sure to ask.
you just shook your head no. you were just tired, hurt, and heartbroken.
.
for the next 3 days, you didnt hear from mike. you didnt know that he was scared to talk to you. what if you didnt listen? what if you didnt care? what if you thought he was cheating on you with el??
"dude. just talk to her already! you dont know if shes not gonna believe you!" lucas said, annoyed with mikes constant yapping about you.
"lucas is right, if you dont talk to her, how will you know she wont believe you about what eleven wanted?" will also told mike. "yeah—whatever they said." dustin said.
"its just.. I feel like shit, and I really kinda messed up and made her misunderstand everything."
"instead of telling us this, go tell her this! you're wasting the right words on the wrong people!" dustin told mike.
"GO TALK TO HER!" they all yelled at him in sync.
"okay! okay!—" mike stood up.
"go, go, go!" lucas yelled up at mike as he stumbled up the basement stairs. "and put on a jacket! its cold!"
mike ran so fast out his front door, rushing to put his jacket on, he nearly forgot to shut the front door, as he grabbed his bike.
they were right. he was wasting the right words on the wrong people.
he was going to make it up to you right now.
whether you forgave him or not.
but deep down, he hoped you did.
the next half hour or so, you were walking up the street to your house, when you heard a bike behind you, and someone out of breath, it couldn't be him.. could it? the audacity he had after yesterday..
"...?—" you turned around, then suddenly mike stopped beside you, breathing really fast.
"can we talk? please?" he asked, looking at you with puppy eyes and hurt in his voice.
"..about what, micheal." you replied, not in the mood for his antics.
"yesterday! please, dont break up with me," he pleads, despite you already dumping him.
you turned to face him fully, giving him a sign you were listening.
"when I tried to explain yesterday, I didnt realize it sounded like I was pushing the entire thing onto you as a reason for why I didnt tell you."
mike started off.
"I should've spoke to you about talking to el alone behind your back first, instead of being a complete inconsiderate jerk who only thinks about himself. Im sorry, (reader)."
mike finished.
"was that the only thing you two werent telling me?" you finally asked.
mike sighed. "we were meeting up because me and her were trying to figure out a way for you and el to become friends again, she came to me about it a couple days after we started dating since she felt bad about walking in on us talking."
"el really misses you, (reader). she said she feels awkward each time the party hangs out and its just you two not talking.—and if it makes you feel better, we didnt completely hang out alone. sometimes lucas, and dustin would be there.." mike said, scratching the back of his head.
"..el wants me to be her friend again..?" you asked yourself. "she should've came to me, I would've said yes!" you said, sad.
"I was just awkward since you two were together back then and I didnt know what to say to her.."
"oh." mike said.
"so.. are we still broken up, or.." mike asked slowly, looking up.
"..of course not. I just misunderstood everything I guess, and im sorry for that too."
"its fine. I would've misunderstood the situation too." mike said, putting his hands on your shoulders.
"just dont hide from me who you're hanging out with, okay? I dont always have to know, but sometimes its nice to know where my boyfriend is." you huff.
"okay, okay. I wont hide that type of stuff from you anymore." mike replied, sighing in relief that you didnt dump him.
"good." you said.
.
the next day, mike laid on your bed, asleep as you looked at his face..
you ran your nails through his hair, it was so soft.
"im glad it was just a misunderstanding.." you whispered, a soft smile on your face.
.
meanwhile, the next morning...
"ohhh... I get it now." max said, standing in hopper's kitchen with el. "so it really was a misunderstanding.." max continued as eleven nodded slowly.
"do you think (reader) will like these..?" eleven asked in a small voice, continuing to make cookie dough.
"shes gonna love them." max said smiling.
"I just hope she wants to be friends again.. im just nervous I messed up after the mike thing.." eleven spoke.
"(reader) is a very forgiving, and sweet person. don't worry el. she'll want to be your friend again." max convinced her.
"I should have come to you for advice..." eleven said in a regretful voice. "I just didnt know who to talk to.."
"well, you have me, and hopefully (reader), if she comes around, to talk to now."
they put the cookie dough into a pan, and put them in the oven.
eleven's goal for today was to get your forgiveness.
Who else did El gossip to about what she saw reader and Mike talking about? Only Max or did she tell reader’s business to more people?
I feel like El would've just told max, since shes the only female friend she has, and reader and el aren't too close. maybe el ran her mouth to someone else for advice? who knows? 👀 maybe ill revisit that in the future? 👀👀
notes : yes its winter and reader was eating ice cream at scoops ahoy with max last chapter.. 😭 also this isnt really a chapter, just something leading up to the next chapter 👀
⚠️ - a little smut, nipple sucking (f!receiving) & dry humping. nancy yells at you two to keep it down.
it had been a week since micheal wheeler asked you to be his girlfriend.
it was snowing that evening, your boots making soft noises in the snow with each step.
you walked into the wheeler's front lawn, which was covered in snow, and saw micheal laying there clutching a guitar.
"mike, what're you doing??" you asked, squinting your eyes at him. what could he possibly be doing in the snow, laying in it, when he could get sick?? "you're gonna get sick.." you say, despite plopping down next to him, and kissing his forehead.
micheal felt his cheeks burn as your lips pressed against his forehead. "hey, (reader).. I was just.. yknow, um. trying to find a good rhythm." he answered your question, while you pulled away.
"in the snow?" you asked, doubtful. "how are you laying in this?? the snow is literally soaking the back of my pants.."
"yeah—it was helping me focus.. kinda. you wanna hear it?" mike replied.
"uh—okay." you responded.
mike breathed in, he hoped you liked it and didnt think it was shitty.
his fingers slowly found the strings of the guitar, then they started to move, playing a pretty good instrumental.
when he was done, he looked up at you. "did you like it..?"
"i did." you replied back, smiling. "I thought it was really good."
his cheeks burned even more when you said that.
suddenly. you started shivering, it felt even more cold.
"ugh... mike can we go in your house..?" you asked, as mike noticed your shivering.
"oh—yeah, of course." he quickly stood up, clutching his guitar, and helping you up.
you took your jacket off as soon as you got in his room, placing it somewhere.
mike did the same, before sitting on his bed.
you turned to face him.
"what're we gonna do now mikey..?" you asked in a quiet voice.
"uh.—i dont know.."
"you wanna do something to pass the time..?" you say.
"..like what?"
"like this."
mike didnt know what to expect, til suddenly, you unbuttoned your shirt, and revealed your breasts to him.
he almost fainted right there.
"do you like them..?" you asked, somewhat embarrassed by his gaze.
"they're beautiful.." mike whispered, "can i–"
you nodded before he could even finish his sentence. his hands moved closer, and closer til they rested on your breasts.
"theyre so soft.. and pretty, and—" mike just leaned foward letting his intrusive thoughts win, as he popped one of your nipples into his mouth.
"fuck.." he groaned against your nipple, sucking on it, before licking it.
when mike attached his mouth to your nipples, your hips twitched and you immediately let out a moan, covering your mouth before his mom, or nancy, heard you guys.
"aahh.. mike.." you whimpered, he moved his hands to your waist, before lifting you up into his lap.
he immediately went back to kissing, licking and sucking on your nipples.
"f-fuck.. micheal.. just like that!" you cried, forgetting to cover your mouth again, "dont stop–" your hips twitched once again, rubbing against his erection.
mike then moved his hips against yours, as he moaned against your nipple. continously moving his hips against yours, his erection moving up and down against your clothed core.
you felt yourself getting wetter and wetter by the second with each rub.
"nhh—mike im close—m'so close.. dont stop—oh!" you whimpered, as mike grunted, shutting his eyes, then literally cumming in his pants.
his dick softened, but he kept rubbing, and licking your nipples so you could reach your peak.
your head rolled back, as you felt a warmth in your tummy, slowly moving down as you had an orgasm.
you fell into mikes arms, breathing heavily.
then there was a knock on mikes bedroom door.
"mike! can you two please keep it down in there??" nancy called out from outside, then left.
you two just laughed quietly, before mike buttoned back up your shirt.
"I should probably go shower, and change." he said, quietly.
"mike, did you–no way.." you just realized he creamed his pants.
"shut up." he said, standing up, as you laid there, looking up at him, before he kissed you.
"ill be back soon.." he said.
"okay.." you replied, watching him leave. before laying directly on your back, staring at the ceiling.
you were happy together now. why did your gut tell you something was gonna happen..?
whatever. you shouldn't always listen to gut feelings, right?
