Yeah it took over the restart/power off mechanic BUT you can also do that by holding the power button and the top volume button.

Cuz for some reason they loveee moving all the traditional mechanics and shit like that

Gemini is usually holding the power button or squeezing the sides of your phone (really depends on which one you have) or, pressing the bottom bar on your screen for too long (usually in older phones, in newer phones it just brings up the Google smart search where you can circle a spot on your screen to run it through the AI database I think)

For future reference for anyone that sees this and has a Google phone 👍 (I've had them all my life and I hate activating Gemini)
