Autistics of Tumblr, hear my plea

I don't know if it's weird to say I hyperfixate on people, but I kinda do?? Like, I can't function if I do not actively interact with them, and it's the same for MCR and hockey (my other hyperfixations), except those aren't necessarily individual people?? Like, when I say I'm hyperfixating on MCR, I mean that I hyperfixate on the lore behind the albums and the music itself. And for hockey, I literally always talk about hockey and I cannot function when I'm not on the ice at least 5 days a week. It's the same with people. Like, I guess it's weird because people are people and not sports or emo music, but, like, I can't function without interacting with a certain person and I talk about them all the time, to the same extent that I talk about hockey and MCR. I don't know, I guess I just feel weird about calling real people 'hyperfixations'. So, fellow neurodivergents of Tumblr, can you possibly give me an answer?
