Out of the four of them, Bo is primarily the gift-giving type, but he’s shy about it so he has Grace do it. Smoke knows that he’s the one who picks out the jewels. And Smoke knows there’s likely a matching watch or set of cufflinks already tucked away in his jacket pocket after Grace had hung it up in the closet.

Grace takes the necklace from Annie, leans up in her space so she can secure the clasp around the back of her neck. She hums and sits back on her heels to admire the jewelry resting on Annie’s collarbone. Her hands don’t go far; she massages Annie’s shoulders as Annie tilts her head, showing the jewelry off to Smoke and Bo.

“Beautiful.” Smoke tells her, his voice soft. Annie smiles wide and pretty.

“You like it?” Grace asks, biting her lower lip.

“I love it.” Annie purrs, curling a hand around Grace’s nape and kissing her sweetly.
