is this au still open?
Everything is beyond slow right now but, yes, new members are always welcome.
Humans: Repenting
Hell is full, but never as full as most imagine. A place of peace and divine grace is a human's right in the afterlife by default -- they aren't born damned, such fate is earned throughout their many lives and can often be avoided with genuine remorse, to a spiritual level. This makes corruption a much harder task for demons or other malevolent entities.
That’s not to say wrongdoings go unnoticed, they are weighed by the amount of hurt it’s caused others and/or oneself and such hurt leaves scars in the soul that, when accumulated, cause its essence to act erratic -- at this point, it barely interests those of demonic nature and are often taken by angels of higher order to be tended to. Normally, letting go of a soul to the flames of Hell is seen as great, irreparable loss.
Contracting a demon is still the only guarantee that Hell is a mortal’s final destination.
Demons: On payments
Demons being able to grant any wish a mortal asks of them right away is a myth. Even if each one of them possess different capabilities, they're still limited and better performed within a given demon's area of expertise, which the person inviting the entity should take into consideration when summoning.
However, most demons are known for their dishonesty and frauds. In other words, they're experts at cheating and can often find alternative ways to complete their part of the bargain.
When these unorthodox alternatives work but have negative consequences, and they usually do, they cease to be the demon’s responsibility. Specially if they come after the contract’s been honored.
Are you guys still open?
Hello, thank you for asking! Yes, we are still accepting new members and ideas.
I am being haunted and I am seeking help and answers
Well, for one, we aren’t.... actually a blog for help and/or advice on that kind of topic, and we apologize for that, but maybe if you explain your situation more closely we can give you a nudge into a direction of rescources for help?
However, please keep in mind that we are no professionals, and this is a blog for applications to a roleplaying timeline, not a help and advice blog. We cannot be responsible to give out any help or advice that we never signed up to make. If you need help with a haunting, please consider looking up help elsewhere, and not at an rp blog.
I’m terribly sorry we cannot be of greater help for you, and I hope the spirit/s that is/are haunting you will soon move on. ;v;
With love and best wishes;
Demons: Hellhounds
Hellhounds are beasts meant to attend their master’s orders and are commonly found participating in activities meant to ensure their assigned Circle’s management (guiding stray souls into the correct layer of Hell, visiting those whose deals are due, guarding the entrance, etc). They’re servants, no different from lesser demons, imps and familiars.
Although they're called hounds, these beasts can take up any animal’s form their master prefers -- their hierarchy, however, is always that of a pack, with at least one alpha that is the only one capable of speaking and thinking rationally.
They’re incorporeal entities and roam in the veil between dimensions, they can’t be seen by mortal eyes. The average pack can be constituted by over twenty hounds.

Angels and Demons: halos and horns
Despite having individual characteristics, angels and demons were created to give continuity to Their work, having equal importance to the balance.
Demons:
Demons, save those created from mortal souls, are angels. Their essence, however, is corrupted beyond repair and banned from entering Heaven altogether. They don't lose their halo or wings upon falling, as nobody within their reach bears any right to take what's been given to them by The Creators.
Instead, their soul shifts to accomodate their new role in the scheme of all things and their physical appearance adopts a new form as to mark their alignment to Hell.
Some demons have horns and halo, others have only horns; mortal souls occupying a position in the lower circle of the demonic hierarchy, neither.
Angels
All angels, regardless of their place in the angelic hierarchy, have a halo. It’s usually not visible for mortals, but can be manifested if so desired.
They are unique and extremely bright. It’s where angels concentrate their grace and is also powerful enough to blind both humans and demons if looked directly. Some describe it as white, but many also confess to have seen them glow in gold.
More
Halo:
demons cannot manifest their halo in the world of the living. When presenting themselves for contracts, it’ll be represented by their horns (if they have them) or not be represented at all.
angels, as mentioned, have their halo as source of their existence. Should it be taken or broken somehow, they will cease to exist permanently.
Horns:
regardless of whether a demon has a halo or not, their horn is still more than important. They serve the same purpose as an angel’s halo does, but are visible and easier to reach/touch. Should both (or more) horns be taken or broken somehow 1) they’ll cease to exist permanently 2) in case of demons who possess a halo, their abilities will be nullified until/if they get them back.
Neither:
demons without either horns or halo are usually too low in the hierarchy and will cease to exist permanently if killed.

The line between holy and wicked is subtle; evil, good and everything in between are, after an eternity, finally realigning themselves, destined to form bonds and understand the true purpose of their very existence.
The Gods chant from above, it’s almost time. After all, the war is not over when all warriors stay on the battlefield.

Angels: on being called
Unlike demons, angels cannot be summoned. All angels, regardless of sphere, are allowed to roam among mortals freely if given a purpose and the decision doesn’t harm the balance of all things.
Though also relying on intention, to call an angel one must either wholeheartedly need their assistance or do so with benevolent motives, often upon praying -- however, angelics are capable of sensing when a mortal being is struggling spiritually or otherwise, and willingly offer help in subtle ways if desired.
The act of requesting the presence of an angel is known as calling or invocation.
IMPORTANT: angelics cannot be contracted, as they shouldn’t compromise anyone’s free will, nor personally benefit from their assistance.
Application: Patience
