How to use the Nasal Sensitivity Intake Chart:
Your OC is the patient. Either you or your Caretaker OC is the Attending Doctor/Nurse.
Room Number: The room number key is at the bottom of the sheet. The patients room number should give us a hint about why they came to the Sneeze Hospital.
Why are there missing room numbers? -Exam rooms. Storage rooms. Doctors' personal offices. Even numbers looked better on the page.
You can use the provided lines to record your patients reaction to being tickled in the marked spot (be creative and put some hot adjectives there!! Or you can just write whether they sneezed/how many times they sneezed)
L and R means left and right nostril. Nose 1 has you test the nostril rims, Nose 2, has you test the inside.
You can also color in the sections of the nose that are the most sensitive if you feel like it.
The Checklist: These are four symptoms that the hospital is very cautious about. If your patient exhibits any of these symptoms, mark the box- it could be a sign of an underlying issue, or contagious illness.
Notes: This section is VITAL. We are Healthcare professionals, people! We have got to be diligent about our patient's health. I want DETAILED reports of the patients symptoms, on my desk pronto!!
Feel free to change anything about the chart that's getting in your way, just try to keep the top of the worksheet intact.

Hi I know I haven’t really been active the past few weeks. I am STRUGGLING to overcome this artblock both for writing and drawing lol, so any ideas are appreciated (both for new things and just stuff to add to what I’ve got).
In terms of barely finished stuff I’ve got two things, one sickfic and another snzfic that takes place at a pool, so if you guys have ideas for what I could add there I’d appreciate it. Anything is welcome though!
1. the beach trip i'm gonna take today with irl friends (day-late bday celebration)

i know some of these are a little more overarching and can last a while, while others are short-term, but hey, they're all things i get to enjoy in the future (likely near), and that's what matters!

Sternutation Incantation. My upcoming Choose-Your-Own Snzfic!! By far, the most excited thing I am for this blog. It's a huge project, there's gonna potentially be a lot of familiar faces involved, and it's my way of supporting and giving back to this kickass community >:D I'm well over halfway done, and my hope is to get it all done by November!
Woodhurst Tales. The biggest project on my furry sub-blog, I'm about halfway done with the worldbuilding, and I plan to get the first series of fics out soon! I might open it to a community-based Discord server once everything is set. Again, this year for me is big on giving back to the snz community and providing some cool original media.
Tabletop Campaigns. I've got TWO mini-campaigns about to launch starting the end of this month and the beginning of next. Both use kids on bikes, but one is D&D fantasy flavored and the other is future post-apoctolyptic. Both feature some of my best friends I could ever ask for (all of whom are either well-acquainted with or within the snz community themselves).
Summer Summer Summer! Yeah, I'm saying this with only about a month of summer left, but I've REALLY been taking the time to myself this summer. No school obligations, no work, just gaming, relaxing, writing, eating well, and generally giving time back to myself in these really rough times. I am really focusing on myself this summer, and for the first time, it feels like this break is actually a break. Yeah, I'm working until the early morning writing worldbuilding or prepping campaigns, but I'm up late doing what I want, and it feels so indulgent and so rewarding.
BACHELORS DEGREE ON THE HORIZON! I'm heading into my senior year at college, and quite possibly my last!!! All my skills in music are coming to their crescendo (hahah get it), and I'm putting together a huge showcase less than a year from now so that everyone can see how far I've come. It gives me such a warm feeling to know the degree I've wanted since I was 9 years old is about to be in my hands at the end of next spring. Especially knowing a gap year is gonna follow it, where I take an even LONGER break to truly recover from 4 years of college.

1. Keeping with the dnd theme, my current campaign is hitting a good stride towards the climax, and my players have performed their characters so well that the overall group is pretty much been locked on to narrative endings they're wishing to achieve.
2. I have escaped my terrible dormmate and can exist peacefully without them.
3. I will be starting the exciting part of my degree in the upcoming school year.
4. I've been trying to branch out in terms of exploring my artstyle, and bought a new sketchbook to experiment with. It's been pretty fun so far.

Soooo I’ve got a sickfic way back in the drafts that I think I could salvage. Plot is mostly OC caretaking with some snz in there, but may or may not be revamped a little. Plot: Zephyr runs out of allergy meds and has to make a stop at the store to get more. He really doesn’t want to sneeze, something he finds unfortunately hard to do in his current state.
Content: Stifles, (failed) holdbacks, allergy sneezes, light/medium mess, powers set off from sneezing, brief inducing. Male sneezes, sort of monster snz but only kinda (humanoid dragon). Approx 1.9k words.

Zephyr knew it was going to be a long day from the moment he woke up. He felt the burning sensation deep in his nose before he even opened his eyes, which quickly built up to an itchy double muffled into the crook of his arm. It did nothing to satiate his need, and only made his nose yearn more for relief.
He opened his eyes slowly, glancing to the side of the room that was brighter than it should be at this hour. The curtain was pulled open, revealing an open window that wasn’t shut properly last night. Oh great. He didn’t even need to check the pollen count on his phone. His nose did that for him as his breath caught once again, the outcome already decided.
“Hhh- hehH—! HIH’KSH-! EH’KSHIEW—! Snddf.. ugh…”
Zephyr already knew the rest of the day would be like this. A deep unrelenting itch, dripping wet sniffles, and of course-
Constant sneezing fits. The kind that won’t even start half the time, they’ll just tease and tease, leading you right to the edge until you can’t take it anymore. Then after having their way with you, they’d bring you back down to an itching buzz, not close enough to sneeze and not small enough to ignore. The kind of fits that somehow don’t provide any relief, instead making you want to sneeze and sneeze and sneeze. Not just a want, a need.
He needed to take meds ASAP, otherwise he wouldn’t be able to focus on anything today. Not that Zephyr had plans in the first place, but he really didn’t want to be suffering through a whole day of his horrible allergies. At least if the meds knocked him out he wouldn’t be sneezing constantly.
Checked the medicine cabinet, nothing. That’s fine, maybe he just left them on the table. Checked there, nothing. Practically turned his place upside down looking, the act of which was slowed by his constant fits of sneezing, but there wasn’t even an empty box. Was he really out now? Usually he’d stock up well in advance, especially before spring when he knew his hayfever would be at its worst. Whether it was because this allergy season was worse than usual, or he just forgot to buy enough, he knew he’d unfortunately have to run out to get more.

Of course the one day he needed to buy something the stores were packed. The lines were moving so slowly time seemed to stand still. The only thing that didn’t stop was the deep-seated tickle that seemed to grow larger as every second ticked by.
Zephyr ended up not wearing a mask, a decision he was starting to regret. He decided against it because he figured it would have drawn more attention, though it wasn’t like his pink irritated nose didn’t stick out either. It also meant he had nothing in between his nose and the constant stream of allergens, the thought of that alone making him have to sneeze even more. Zephyr couldn’t help but sniffle wetly every few seconds, just hoping it was discreet enough to avoid attention. He felt gross for doing it so much, but it was better than risking it running down his face. Unfortunately with each sniffle the itch only got worse, and was slowly building to something unmanageable.
All Zephyr could do was to hope he could last long enough without sneezing in front of everyone. He felt so humiliated succumbing to his itchiness, not being able to control his own powers in the process. Fortunately they weren’t dangerous at all, the strongest of his sneezes only causing light objects to be knocked off of shelves. He just hated having all eyes on him in these vulnerable moments, and would do anything to prevent himself from making a scene. Even if it meant stifling his sneezes down into submission, not caring about how disoriented it made him feel after.
“Hh.. Hehh… snddf.. heh-! Hihhh—!
5 people ahead in line. He could last that long, right..? It’s just that he felt so… itchy. It was deep in there, the pollen infiltrating places he didn’t know were possible. He didn’t just feel it in his nose, he felt it in his whole face. Oh the things he would do if he was in the privacy of his own home right now. He just wished he could trace his finger down the bridge of his sensitive nose, slowly but surely coaxing out his snee- his sneehh-!
Before he could finish his thought, he felt the tickle unexpectedly grow sharper, barely having enough time to react. “Huh-! Ht’kshh-! Nn’gtt-! Mm..” He quickly stifled them between his fingers with a small groan, wincing at how much louder the first one was at his failure. It left a small wetness on his fingertips, which he wiped off onto the hem of his hoodie, ashamed. He hoped his sneeze wasn’t heard over the sounds of the crowded store, though the heat of embarrassment still pooled in his face.
“H-hhh… hihh-! Snfff- sndff—! Hehhhh…”
2 more, just 2 more people. He could just taste the freedom. All he had to do was stop— snff- stop thinking about how ihh- irritated- snddf- snrrf—! Irritated he felt. Zephyr’s nose had always been sensitive, but since coming here a year ago it just seemed to explode every spring. He didn't even have to be near a pollen source to start sneezing. Just by existing he’d be plagued with itchy fits and a nose that wouldn’t stop running. It was a wonder he could hold back this long, a thought that unfortunately would not be true for much longer as he geared up for another round.
“Hih-! Snff.. hh-HIH—!” Dammit, why couldn’t this tickle just leave him be? All he wanted was to get his medicine and get out of here without causing a scene. He tried his best to hold it back, even going so far as to rub his finger under his nose, but it wouldn’t let up. It quickly became too much for him, leading to another group of itchy sneezes barely able to be stifled in time.
He felt dizzy after that fit, barely registering the couple of blessings he got from others in line. At least he didn’t knock anything over, but he still felt humiliated. He was struggling to hold back even more than before, and wanted nothing but to leave the store without drawing any unnecessary attention to himself.
Thankfully, after waiting for what felt like forever, it was now his turn in line. He placed the medicine on the conveyor, leading to a small talk comment by the cashier. “Alright, see we got some allergy meds. Must be a rough day for you with the pollen count, huh? Almost everyone who came in today’s been sneezing their head off if you get what I mean.”
I wish I didn’t get what you mean. Even just hearing that made him want to claw at his face. He kept trying to subtly rub at his nose, but those words echoed in his mind. Pollen… hh- allergies… snnff-! Snee- sneehhH—! It took all his strength to bite it back, but he was so close to losing the battle.
“Would you like a bag for this?”
Her words snapped him out of his daze. He opened his mouth to respond and promptly closed it, feeling the tickle sneak back up on him again. All he could muster was a simple nod, biting back the urge to give into it. He was just so itchy, but sneezing would leave all eyes on him. Just 5 more minutes, 5 more minutes without sne.. snehh—! Pleasedon’t—
His eyes watered at the strength of his pent-up sneezes. Stifling did nothing to fight back at the itchiness that plagued him. If anything, it only made it worse. Those last three were hardly able to be contained, and he accidentally kicked up a slight breeze with it. He knew as soon as he stepped outside his facade would surely crumble, leaving him a helpless sneezing mess.
“Bless you! Here’s your total, would that be cash or card for today?”
The heat spread back to his face at that comment. He felt so ashamed from the amount he had been sneezing, though it definitely wasn’t as much as it could’ve been.
There were days where Zephyr couldn’t even go a minute without sneezing, even after taking more than enough medicine. Though the worst of it would be when he wouldn’t sneeze. An itchiness that wouldn’t let up no matter how much he scrubbed at it and flushed his nose out. He would get right.. right on the- the edge and…! Nothing. Maybe a half sneeze at best, something that would leave him needy and desperate for relief, begging for just one single sneeze. Unfortunately, it just comes with the territory of being hopelessly allergic to spring.
He made sure to pay as fast as he could, grabbing the bag and managing a small “thank you, sorry.” to the cashier. Zephyr rushed back to his car, barely making it inside before-
“Hhh.. HIHHH-! KSSHHIEEWWW—!”
The first of many to come. He quickly grabbed a tissue from the box he always kept on standby, hardly having enough time to bring it to his face before the next fit overtook him.
“HIH’KSHIEW-! EH’KSHU-! Hehh-! HIH-! ” His face was on fire, it felt like a million pollen grains were attacking every inch of the inside of his nose. He didn’t just want to sneeze, he needed it. Badly. “Hih.. hih-hihH—! HIH’KSHH—! HEH’KSHUU—! Hehhhh…”
He felt so, so itchy. It had been a while since he had skipped taking his allergy meds, and he had forgotten how bad his fits could truly get. His tissue was practically soaked, and Zephyr tossed it aside haphazardly, only caring about getting a fresh one to his nose before he was set off again.
The itch started to die down, leading to unsatisfying sneezes and a dull buzzing in his nose, not even close to enough to finish him off. He hated when they got stuck like that. He would have rather had a never ending fit than to never sneeze at all, having an itch so torturous it practically hurt. Zephyr’s eyes watered, his mouth opening more with each inhale, his red-tinted nose trembling. He waited with bated breath for it to come, but every time it brought him to the edge it would retreat back to a fraction of what it once was.
Taking matters into his own hands, he brought his hand up to his nose, using his finger to lightly stroke at the bridge of it. He slowly made his way down, applying more and more force to coax it out. His head tipped back further as the tickle built to the point of no return. It was building fast, reaching its peak as his finger reached the tip of his nose. His eyes shut, and he pitched forward with a very harsh final few sneezes.
