im doing all my artfight revenges as tweened gifs so i can practice tweening as most of my past animation stuff is frame by frame. Which would be all lovely and good if I had anticipated getting more attacks than I have before.

anyway, I get to attempt to make ten attacks tonight before I change teams for the last time to complete my all-three-teams traitor badge.

always touting the don't compare yourself to other artists thing and then do it myself, but had an actual realization earlier.

quite often catching myself subconsciously upset about the amount of art I'm making (in particular it's currently artfight season) before I realized I am mentally comparing numbers with full time artists. I am almost always working two to three jobs for various reasons (mainly I cannot sit still) and cannot draw for more than a few hours a day. So, obviously, I'm not gonna be drawing as much as them.

You're so lucky So twitter (surprise) and from what it seems tiktok too has this like?? entitlement toward artfight- the negativity has been insane!! They dog on popular artists for not attacking everyone back and are overall just very!! rude :'] I've been blocking because I'll be seeing the worst opinions on an ART GIFTING game!! I don't need that in my space - haven't seen it on tumblr but if you're randomly blocked no hard feelings it's prolly over an opinion I don't agree with

the site being down is actually helping me make attacks more efficiently. Rather than uploading them as I finish them I can batch them and keep the momentum going. Much smoother <3

Updates Regarding the Site

We're still trying to determine the root cause for the slow/unresponsive site yesterday - we did everything we did last year plus some extra work, but the site is reacting very differently than expected. We will continue to troubleshoot.

We are very sorry about the trouble and will discuss internally about a possible day extension, but this is still up for discussion as it impacts our internal dev schedule. If we do decide to extend the fight, it will be formally announced. Thank you so much for your patience, and we hope you are still enjoying the fight!

Site Status - Cloudflare Waiting Room

We're going to be enabling a waiting room on the website shortly.
