as a victim of covert incest (aka emotional incest, which for those of you unfamiliar is basically like… severe emotional/psychological enmeshment in which your parent treats you as a surrogate spouse without the physical contact/abuse) i think it is necessary for us to openly think about, talk about, write about, make art about, consume media about, etc. incest as much as we do other forms of abuse

when you make something so taboo that even the victims cannot safely talk about it, cannot safely make art about it, cannot safely process the emotions attached to it… who are you really hurting? certainly not the perpetrators, who will continue what they do in silence and in private no matter if you acknowledge it or not!

talking about abuse and making art about abuse is necessary so people can recognize, escape, process, and heal from the fact that they have been abused. that includes even the abuse that makes you personally feel uncomfortable or “weird” or “bad” to talk about!

Victor Criss looks 100% like his mom.

I refuse to see it any other way, like he looks EXACTLY like her. He gets his eyes, hair color, freckles, and mannerisms from her. Bonus points if he has siblings and all of them look just like their mom too, almost as if their father wasn't even in the room when they were conceived.

He's just slightly smaller version of his mom with shorter hair, trust me.
