If someone is doing free art, you can at least afford them the basic courtesy of reading their request status and guidelines. And if you want to make sure your idea gets drawn, commission an artist instead. Not me, though. You’re blacklisted.

Double Standards

Every time a ‘plain clothes’ Mei cosplay comes up with their handmade hair pins, there are always the same types of comments.

“This isn’t Mei!”

“No effort!”

“They just wanted to be sexy!” (What’s wrong with being sexy? Is being sexy only acceptable if the girl isn’t embracing it?)

And yet you rarely see these types of comments on a dude cosplaying ‘plain clothes’ Wolverine with jeans, a wife beater, and mass produced claws. In fact, they tend to get compliments instead of the harassment that the ‘plain clothes’ Mei cosplayers get.

Edit: To the people who have said their issues with it is because it’s not canon and was just concept art... I present to you... Current in game sprays available for Mei with the exact same outfit.
