but bby girl, that makes you worth no less of an effort and a fight.

trust me, that stupid boy who isn’t paying you any attention right now, just the way you are, does NOT deserve you five lbs lighter, heavier - ANYTHING. you are fine, fierce, and fabulous just the way you are and if he can’t take that then it’s HIS loss. not yours, hun. there’s a MAN out there that GOD has made just for you who is fully prepared to handle and APPRECIATE all your fabulousness. he is waiting on you. praying for you. he’s crazy about you and he might not even know you. 

isn’t that just grand? isn’t God good?

waayyyyy before you and i were even a thought, The Lord knew that at 3:27pm on January 21st you’d feel that pimple coming up under you left nostril. he knew that you’d be five minutes into A&P II class when your mom called to tell you that He’d taken your Mimi home to Heaven with Him during the night. He knew every single thing that’s happened to you before you were even a thought and He knows every single thing that’s gonna happen to you from here on out.

so darling girl, don’t worry. you are made by a God who has no fears. a God who knows no limits. a God who infinitely loves you. a God who has been loving you just like you are. a God who died to know you. 

not a God who judges you. not a God who looks down on you. not a God that will leave you or give up on you. 

i don’t know about your God, but my God is ALWAYS faithful. He is ALWAYS steady. He will ALWAYS prevail. 

so, to that boy. that boy who thinks your word revolves around him. tell him boi bye, we ain’t got time. that boy who doesn’t think you’ll ever stop waiting on him. oops, looks like time is up. to that boy who doesn’t appreciate that five extra pounds of FABULOUS you are. get on somewhere else. 

The Lord knows, sweetheart. He knows what He’s doing. if that boy doesn’t want to act right, that’s not the one that God molded for you. consider it a blessing instead of a breaking. 

it’s not the end of the world, although i know it feels like it could be.

head up, gorgeous. you were made for far better things than to cry over some bull headed boy who doesn’t realize your worth. 

there’s a man out there for you. i promise. God’s made him for you, He’s just waiting for just the right moment to sit y’all face to face. i pray your life with him is a fairy tale.

trust in The Lord, sweet girl. He has you. He’s got His hand out, waiting for you to reach out to Him. reach out, bby girl. it’s the best decision you’ll ever make, i assure you of that.

so until prince charming comes riding in on his white horse..

focus on preparing your heart for him.

if you aren’t prepared with and in The Lord, it’s not time yet. you need to be just right with Jesus Christ before you can be the woman you need to be for your price charming. 

he deserves just a much as you do.

while you’re readying yourself, pray he’s doing the same. 

pray for him. pray for his safety. pray that he has good days. pray that he follows his dreams, his heart. pray for his family. 

PRAY FOR HIS SALVATION. 

pray that he’s hungry for The Lord. 

just pray, sweet heart. 

your time will come, and when it does - it’ll be so worth it.

trust in HIS timing. 

HE knows. 

He’s known all along.

11/19/2015 -- ugh. I've been MIA, again.. 😁😅

Hiya papaya!! Long time no post! I know, I know, I know... IM SORRY😭😩 this'll probably be a bunch of rambling, but HERE GOES IT! For anyone who knows me, I get these random crushes on these unavailable guys. Now, when I say unavailable, I don't necessarily mean guys that are in relationships. I mean guys that I have no business liking. Guys that are better off friends. Guys that don't have reciprocating feelings. Well, guess what? THAT HAPPENED. AGAIN. there's this guy, we'll call him W. I met him through my youth group and we have mutual friends as well. Now, I don't know what he thinks of me - but I can almost guarantee its not what I think of him. W is the greatest guy I've ever met, I say that with no hesitance. He has a heart for The Lord, he's super sweet, a smile to die for, a head of hair I used to would kill to have, not to mention he's cute 😍😉 anyway, looks aside. He's got the most kind hearted, love The Lord, nice to everyone attitude I've ever come into contact with in a guy. He's the ideal guy that every girl dreams of having and every parent wants their daughter to have. It's just that simple. Anyway, I've had "eyes" for him since late summer, early fall. I've known him for almost two years, but this "crush" is a recent thing. We've talked, mainly about The Lord, once about contacts, school😂😂 just the norm. But we've never talked in the sense of a relationship. Now, I don't know about you and your outlook, but I believe the guy should make the first move. Therefore, I wasn't about to. I don't know if he feels the same, I'm not risking our barley there friendship by making a move on him. No. I'm not that girl. Lately, I've kinda fallen hard for him. It literally came out of absolutely nowhere. I'm blaming my girl brain, overthinking and reading into things that aren't real or true. Last weekend, we had a church thing that I attended. W was there, of course. He always is. But this time, he wasn't alone. He and his "girlfriend", I use that loosely, were there together. Now, this is the first I'd heard about her. I immediately didn't care for her and was heartbroken over this. I didn't give her a chance. It never crossed my mind to give her a shot, she's probably a nice girl. Nope. I shut it down. I was done. That night, I got home and I cried. This wasn't the only reason but it helped to calm me emotionally none. Why? WHY ARE YOU CRYING?? Because he has a girlfriend. Why do you care? Because I like him. Were we headed for a relationship? Most likely not. THEN WHY ARE YOU UPSET?? he's not yours, he's never been yours, y'all weren't even talking. WHY ARE YOU UPSET. WHY WHY WHY WHY. because I'm a girl. because I had my hopes up so very high that when they hit the ground, so did my heart. because I overthink EVERYTHING. I read into EVERYTHING. About an hour or two into my emotional episode, I just stopped. What sense does this make? None. Why am I worried about some relationship? Why am I worried about something that is TOTALLY out of my control, if you want to know the truth? Because I'm human. As a human, I try to take control of my life. I try to take the wheel and steer my life where I think it needs to go. Do I really know best? No. Who knows best, you ask? GOD. Before we were even born or thought of, God knew who we'd have relationships with, when in life we'd have them, who we'd marry. He knows it ALL. why am I worried?? Why do I have any business worrying about it? I don't. I have no need to worry about it. Do I really think I know best?? The Lord knows what we're gonna face in life and who we need by our side. So many girls and guys are worried about being in relationships and having a special someone. Why? They're just a person. Sure, it's nice to be told you're beautiful or handsome. It's great to know that you have someone that you can tell any and everything to. It's sweet to get cute texts or little "I'm thinking of you" notes or gifts. BUT IT'S NOT THE END OF THE WORLD IF YOU DON'T. take it from someone who knows, it's gonna be okay. From about 16 on, there is a contestant want for companionship. People think they NEED it to survive. No. You can survive just fine without some ole stinking boy. I've done it for 18 years, I've faired pretty well I'd say😉 Since I have felt this way about W, I have been praying that, if it was God's will, we would be brought together. Now, I kinda dug my own grave here. If I prayed for God's will to be done, why am I upset that this, W having a girlfriend, is His will? I've been praying for this dislike I have for this girl to be lifted out of my heart. I've been praying for happiness for the two of them. I pray that she realizes just how great W is, and I pray she doesn't take him for granted. Pray for your future girlfriends, boyfriends, and spouses guys. They could be struggling with something right now. They could be going through just what you are. Be patient, God's got the relationship thing. Focus on living your life to honor and glorify Him. so it’s been like three months...

hi guys! let me begin by saying OHMYGOSHIMSOSORRYITSBEENSOLONG!!!! anything and everything that could’ve happened has happened. Now, I know that’s not really a good excuse, but I hope you will forgive me for my absence. I do apologize greatly. That being said, here goes something...

so recently, I had this experience with someone who, before, I considered a very close friend. Everyone knows what Snapchat is, right? Okay, thought so. Anyway, y’know how you can post story snaps so all your friends can view them hundreds of times before they expire? Yeah, okay; now we’re on the same level. So this friend, we’ll call her MK, posted a snap on her story. I know, you’re thinking, “Well duh, that’s the whole point.” It’s not the fact that she posted a Snapchat story, it’s what it was captioned as that I had an issue with. Now, I won’t say what it said, but trust me, it wasn’t appropriate. MK is a ninth grader, these words shouldn’t be coming out of a grown man’s mouth, in my opinion. Now, don’t get me wrong, everyone sins. Sin is sin and sin is awful. My sin is no less awful than your sin.

Seeing this vulgarity struck 12 nerves in me. Seeing it in someone who I was trying to minister to broke my heart and brought me to a conclusion; society is getting in the way of our relationship with The Lord. People are following the instruction and influence of each other instead of following the Word of God. He plainly tells us what to do in every situation we shall face. He gives us the ultimate guidebook, rule book, and handbook EVER. Y’know where to find this ultimate key to life?

We as humans are the single most influential being to one another. We have the power to change someone’s life. God gives us this power so we can use it to change people’s lives in the spiritual department. We weren’t put here to smile and look pretty. We weren’t put here to please one another. We weren’t put here to be provacative on Snapchat to get the attention of a boy who wants nothing more than our body. We were put here to disciple. We were created to create in Christ. We were created to glorify The Lord God Almighty.

As I saw this, only one thing came to my mind; it’s up to me to correct her. I didn’t know who actually cared about MK, who knew what she did was wrong, and who cared enough about her to correct her. So I did just that. I texted her, asking what she meant by her Snapchat story. I proceeded to tell her that it was inappropriate and I disapproved of it and so did The Lord. She said, and I quote,”So? Everyone else does it? Why should I be different?”

W O A H.

NERVE 145266 WAS JUST STRUCK.

If you don’t understand another sentence in this post, understand this one - DO NOT CONFORM TO THE WORLD. BE WHO THE LORD CREATED YOU TO BE.

You should NOT fall into the pattern of society! You should NOT care what others think of you. So what if they don’t like it? You can’t and won’t be held accountable for impressing them, you’ll be held accountable for spreading the Word of Christ. You will be judged for not obeying what The Lord tells you to do. You will be judged for what you’ve done, not what Joe Blow from down the road has done.

Fact of the matter - Don’t worry what others think of you. They are not who you should be worried with impressing. You are a dancer on a stage performing for the most important, perfect, sinless, righteous, almighty judge of all time - The Lord Jesus Christ. He is the ONLY member in the audience of life that you need to worry about.

Remember, we were called to disciple. We were created to create brothers and sisters in Christ.
