Life is fascinating. Breaking from what you are used to, your homeostasis, can be insanely painful. In the end though, you become so glad for changing from something that was not right for you. No matter how that changed happened, the end result is what matters.

Now, I can honestly say I’m genuinely happy. Which is amazing. It raises questions about the future, what am I supposed to do, what are the best courses of action, but for now... just happy.

It’s a great feeling to be this way. I recognize that mistakes can and will still happen, but going through things can sometimes give you a broader perspective on things. The power to say, “Hey, I don’t like this, I don’t like where I am right now.” and work to change that. To really take control of your own life.
