Hello Hello!!

The name's Carrie (he/they/it) and I'm a 21yr old comic artist!!

This is mainly a blog where I post my art! I usually just draw my OCs from one of my many many projects. Here's some of the one's I'm currently working on:

Open Season (a made up indie band!! Mostly illustrations rn but comics are coming soon!)

Dogs of the Divine (a WIP graphic novel that's basically dog Shakespeare)

The Harbinger (A tragic fantasy webcomic! which actually has it's own blog too!! Check it out! )

Some of the NPCs I fill rendered for my concept art senior thesis Dogs of the Divine

I actually sketched out like 10+ of these guys before settling in these five lol

For my thesis deliverables I only had to do 2 turnarounds so I chose Oleander and King Kahn since she’s our main character and Khan is just my favorite design wise.

I’ll eventually get around to doing turnaround for Orpheus and Baldur and a couple other notable characters.

You’ve probably seen these guys before but now they’ve got official designs!! Here's a couple of design notes if you're interested:

I gave each King a dominant color both to set them apart and to make NPC alliances more obvious, which will be an important aspect to pay attention to in the game. Since Oleander starts as a neutral party but gets swayed, she has all of the kings colors and depending on what choices are made in game one of the 3 colors will darken.

All the game assets concepts I made for my senior thesis Dogs of the Divine + some in-game mock ups.

Genuinely these mock ups are what convinced me to make this a full game at some point. I'm super excited to dive into working on this once I have more free time post graduation.

For my senior thesis I decided to officially start production on Dogs of the Divine which will end up being a point-and-click/visual novel murder mystery game! I'll be posting more of the art I did for my project over the next few days but for now here's the mock up of the start menu.
