Whenever I see an artist drawing chara who is exceptionally smug and hates humanity, I just already know that chara must be their favorite CHARActer!! Why is that!? ^_^

Short answer: Chara’s a morally gray character who haunts the narrative what’s there not to like?!

Long answer: Us Chara fans were on the front lines in the fandom defending them against the evil allegations for years! Us Chara lovers can see the range!!! We can see their silliness that the other -less enlightened- fans write off as evil!!! (and ig i just grew more attached from being on the defensive for so long)

But I’ve always loved chara, (I could find my old sketchbooks from when I started drawing in middle school to prove it) they’ve been a character that’s always clicked for me. I always saw their actions as cheeky lol, and I still refuse to see outright malice in almost everything Chara did
