âYeah? My dad was a dick so your husband should raise his standards,â he stated bluntly. Was his dad a renowned and feared pirate? Yes. Was he going to win any dad of the year awards? Not a chance in hell. His father was also defeated by Jackass Sparrow so he really was a lame pirate too in Julianâs opinion. âSo, donât worry, youâre not missing anything,â he assured with a grin.
-- & It's swiftly proven that this young man is definitely blood related to the aforementioned pirate, if there had ever been any doubt it's simply erased in a matter of seconds; a slow grin earned in response. "Most pirates tend to be, don't they?" Her husband included, as much as she did love the man. It was a simple truth that her kin found out very early into their lives, usually. How cruel and injustice those above the waters could be, despite all they may promise you and flicks of gold await. "My husband has never been a wise man, hot headed and impulsive." It's probably why he had married a SIREN, impulsive an to a degree irational surely. "Good to know that the high praise isn't all it's cracked up to be though. Anything else you can clear up for me?"

Chernabogâs daughter just kept looking up at the sky when the woman spoke up. Silence passing between them before she spoke up. â Iâm done singing.â She looked down at the rippling water her legs made. Following them to the center of the enchanted lake each time. ââWhy donât you sing?âÂ
-- & The question naturally would be an innocent one but Xena wasn't a creature of innocence nor mortal plain, despite her outward apperance. "Honey, when I sing it's not for entertainment." Soft chuckle escapes as she moves forward, a deep longing presenting itself the closer to the water she becomes. "Do you find yourself out here a lot? --- Perhaps it sounds, ironic, to most but I've always found that water is a good source of relaxtion. Even for those who aren't bound by it."
-- & Although the truth had been offered to her son prior to his new found power and Kingdom, she had yet to actually seek out his comrades. Perhaps that was something she should have done first, to further get an understanding of the man Harry had become but admittedly Xena felt she already had a good grasp of that by simply watching him all these years. All the same sheâs found herself seeking out a particular brawn induced young man, accompanying him in a booth of a pub that rightly isnât nearly as nice as her own. Alas, that isnât the point here. âIâve heard a lot about you, Gil. Although Iâm afraid I donât have a high opinion of your father -- though I imagine youâre not much like him, you certainly seem to have an agenda of your own.â

A deep sense of serenity overcame her as she stared in rapture at the lake lay before her. Rays of lights danced delicately across the water, birthed from the starry skies that made the view all the more beautiful as she hummed a gentle and alluring tune that she made for herself. With her legs swaying back and forth in the water, part of her short white dress getting wet when she sensed someone near by. Making her soft humming stop as she just looked up at the stars in the sky.Â
-- & Melodic nature was instinctual to follow for Xena, although it didn't lead her often to someone outside of her own kin. "Please," Singular nod of her head with approach. "Do not stop on my account. Whatever it was that you were humming, it was beautiful." Reminded her of home, which ever she preferred --- NEVERLAND comes to mind the quickest.

â excuse you , but what was  the point of everything you  just said ? i wasnât listening . â
she admits , head tilting as she tried to recall even              a single word the other person had said . yet only              hearing a buzzing static from their mouth . yeah ,              that would not be happening anytime soon . whoops .
â or can we just skip ahead  to the important parts so i  donât fall asleep again ? â
-- & Harriet Hook, yet another child of the infamous Captain. A child of great importance for many a reason. "You owe three shillings for your drinks." A pause as gaze roams over the other, debating internally. "Unless you'd rather open a tab, which I'm more than happy to oblige you with."
-- & Curious that more and more pirates seemed to accumulate outside of the docks, a supposed sanctuary for both their kind and her own. Although she would be unwise to look a gift horse in the mouth, wouldnât she? âI never had the opportunity to meet your father,â Which was definitely for the better considering what she was. âMy husband, however, speaks highly of him --- often.â
