I am an actor playing different characters

I hate everything I create.

How could I love something—knowing it caused me so much pain and suffering to bring into the world?

You don't know how I feel.

None of you do.

I could be playing a character,

I could be a whole different person.

That's what my life is.

I'm constantly on a stage and I act.

I always act.

I've never been true to anyone,

I've never been loyal to anyone.

My affections change based on how the person may benefit me.

Everything I am, will have and will be is built on lies.

I hate everyone I love.

Grief Is A Bone

Grief is said to be a learning process

Something you could adapt too

Outsmart, even

But that is wrong.

Grief is a bone that always heals warped

One that you have to re-break

Over and over again

As the rest of your body

Desperately tries to outgrow it.

It also takes a village to fail one

The silent ghosts who watch the cruelty

Mirror the chains of the tyrant

Forever shackled by the very hate they inflict

The deepest abyss burns

For both—watcher or doer.

One condemned for the strike

The other for the stillness

Both sins worth their weight in gold.
