Had to draw my favourite lesbians. I messed around a lot with the stylisation of the background, and I think it ended up creating really cozy vibes. Dunno if I can ever recreate this style – it was a lot of fucking around with colours, brushes and blending modes.

I need A BIG GENERAL FANFICTION about R!Ciel and not just him being there but a good reinterpretation of his character.

I can say that he's my favorite character in the whole Black Butler. I'm obssesed with thinking how his character would develop if he wasn't killed and became a bizarre doll (I mean what if he didn't stop at 11 mentally).

He was loved by everyone, brilliant like his younger brother, raised to be a head of Phantomhive family, confident, charismatic, polite and he had a great sense of responsibility. He was the one who was suspicious of the people that bought them. And I assume that he would be much stronger physically than O!Ciel. So we could have another powerful Phantomhive, much different than his brother.

I love O!Ciel with my whole heart, but personally I feel robbed because of what happened to the real Ciel Phantomhive.

I think I have seen a few that have him as part of the emsemble, with different scenarios - do you have anything specific in mind? Like, does the fire and their parent's death happen? Are sold to the cult? Does the other twin die instead? God, there are so many possibilities...

I feel like the whole point of his character in the manga is that his potential, as a person, remains unfulfilled. He had a bright future, and he got robbed of it. That is the tragedy he represents. And I do hope we see this addressed properly - so far, he seems also just very inconsistent as a bizarre doll, and I would like to see the brothers at least talk out their core issues and stuff before he inevitably dies for good...

(Also, what do you mean by physically much stronger than o!Ciel? I don't actually think o!Ciel is, at present, particularly weak (for a kid his age who does not do more than casual exercise) - so would your r!Ciel be like Lizzy or something?)

I think the last scenario (I mean this where o!Ciel dies) would be the most interesting, if we don't want to change canon much. But for me any scenario would be interesting.

I strongly agree that his potential remains unfulfilled. Personally, I don't like the fact that he came back to life as a bizarre doll. He seems very out of character compared to his personality before he died. I don't really understand this character development—or the lack of it. To me he's just a puppet with mentality of ten-years-old, filled with fake memories and lacking any real experience.

By "physically stronger," I mean that he wouldn’t be limited by any physical illness—like how o!Ciel is restricted by his asthma. So, maybe he would develop his strength to protect himself. O!Ciel isn’t as weak as people assumed before Vincent and Rachel died, but he mostly relies on shooting from a distance and depends heavily on Sebastian. For example, he can’t run much without coughing. Still, I don’t think r!Ciel would be like Lizzy—she’s a genius with exceptionally high kinetic intelligence. R!Ciel seems more like a thinker, similar to his brother, so I imagine he’d be somewhere in the middle. He’d likely be able to do more on his own compared to o!Ciel.

I am not sure what r!Ciel would do if o!Ciel died - I think o!Ciel is right when he says that "r!Ciel hated to be alone" - I think that if he had summoned Sebastian, he might have gone for the "happy days", even when they are not truly real. That is just from his actions as a doll, though - he seems fixated on his brother, but without caring much what o!Ciel actually wants/is like now. Alternatively, I think his idea of revenge would have been much more swift - just using Sebastian's raw power. O!Ciel is doing what he does to prove something to himself, and r!Ciek would nkt feel the need to do that. And he does not seem interest in being Earl just for the sake of it.

I am really curious how Yana expands on his personality, how she resolves his story. His fake meories are his own visions of the future - so it makes sense that his behaviour is inappropriate for the actual situation somewhat, given that he most definitly fid not see all of the stuff that is happening now coming.

I agree with you on r!Ciel not being as strong as Lizzy - I think he deserves to loose to her in fencing matches in any timeline - but I do wonder where you got Ciel not being able to run much without coughing? As far as I can remember, he never had to cough after running except for the circus arc, which was why Sebastian was so surprised by the asthma diagnosis coming up. (O!Ciel does get a bit out of breath on occasion, but I was never sure if that was meant as an asthma symptom, or normal because I breathe heavily too after running to catch the bus, or just because he has tiny little legs and constantly needs to keep up with taller people. I kinda thought maybe his asthma is triggered predominantly by infections rather than exercise? Please tell me, I am writing a post-Campania fanfic right now and Yana is so vague 😅)

It's such an interesting interpretation, and I think he would do something like that—but on the other hand, I feel like he would be obsessed with revenge, even more so than O!Ciel. He seemed to be prouder and more fixated on the Phantomhive family's honor. The first thing he did when he saw his parents’ corpses was grab 'the blue candy'—he was already thinking along those lines as a child who had just lost his parents. The loss of his younger brother (who was the closest person to him) would definitely break him. R!Ciel was more open in expressing his emotions, so I think he would be really unpredictable at times. I imagine him being filled with anger and deeply sensitive about his brother’s death.

I suffer because of his little presence in the manga. We haven't seen him for a while and the content we actually have isn't enough to judge his character correctly.

I meant the scene in the Book of the Atlantic arc, and I remembered it differently, so let me explain: in chapter 56, when o!Ciel rips Lizzy’s dress, he has a coughing fit. It probably wasn’t because of running, but because of the cold. Lizzy remembers this when she thinks about situations where she could have realized that o!Ciel isn’t r!Ciel. My bad.
