SPOILERS FOR CHAPTER 214 AHEAD!!!

this chapter was very pleasing to read. i love endo and his ... vaguely waves hand around. he's so funny, i'm sure the endo fans are EATING this chapter. now that endo has found suo, i wonder what will happen next? i really want to know where exactly he's located at now... is he nearby? is he across japan? will endo be funding 1-1's trip across japan?? more next in chapter 215!!!!

Could it be an Exorcist?
Chapter 214 really surprised me, because I haven't thought that Yana would begin the new chapter with a bang. But she did and things are cliffy as (n)ever before.
The most biggest question is: Who is that?
At last I've found you.
Sounds as if someone searched intensive for Sebastian, who seems to be absolutly clueless.
But there are certain things that literally screams in my face are four things - which I researched very intense, because they just seem so detailed.
First: The cross as an IV drip
The cross is clearly Latain and from it's decoration it seem to be baroque or medieval altar art.
The decoration with fleur-de-lis elements or flower shapes suggests holiness, royality or the veneration of saints.
The fleur-de-lis has been regarded as a sign of purity since antiquity. The Roman Catholic Church adopted the fleur-de-lis symbol to represent the Virgin Mary.
Also it doesn't really looks like a simple IV drip to me, but more like a sacred weapon or tool. Theinvusion could even symbolize holy water, consecreated blood or something meant to counteract demonic forces. That it's simply blood for a longer life ... as it is used in previusly chapters - I don't think so.
Second: The stola
It's white, embroided at it's sides, really long and isn't worn as a scarf or something. It really looks like a stola, which is wore by mostly priests.
Third: The hood
The embroidery is reminiscent of the sumptuous robes of high priests, cardinals or even relic covers. It's just too detailed to be just a simple design.
I looked at it and made out some details:
Gothic window shapes, highly reminiscent of:
Lancet windows (tall, narrow, with pointed arches),
Possibly even rose window tracery at the top center,
The patterns include:
Ornamental filigree, similar to what you’d find in cathedral stained glass or wrought iron,
Vertical symmetry with a strong upward focus — a hallmark of Gothic architecture meant to draw the eye heavenward.
The hood design mirrors the stained-glass windows and Gothic tracery of real cathedrals, particularly:
Notre-Dame or Westminster Abbey
It also reminds me of the Exeter Cathedral.
And four: The neck-tattoo
While tattoos weren't frown apon at that time, to have those uncovered was indeed rare. Some people used neck tattoos or body tattoos as a replacement of jewels. Sailors and also solders wore them often. Also people who did not had family to tell their story.
Modern pattern were all about religion, astronomy and animals.
Espacially criminals, just as gangs, wore tattoos all over their bodies at the victorian era. But that did not mean that rich people wouldn't let a needle touch their skin. Because also Prince Albert had tattoos.
However.
These are the four things that just got me to the idea, that maybe this person could be an Exorcist. Also the fact, that it named Sebastian a demon. Doesn't seem to be a demon himself, or he would call him by Sebastian's real name. (Which I would like to know)
A tiny part in my mind also wonderes, if it could be an angel, because we got reapers, witches, werewolfs, a visionary, zombies ...
I am excited to know who it is and if his past with Sebastian could lead into darker paths. Just hope, that it will lead to my favorite trope - Ciel saving Sebastian again.

The "Nectar Springs" Hotel
I think I found the inspiration for the "Nectar Springs" Hotel that Ciel and Sebastian are investigating in the latest chapter.
It's modeled after the Grand Brighton Hotel, a Victorian seafront hotel in Brighton that was built in 1864:
Take a look at the lobby:
And the suite:
Just like the "Nectar Springs" Hotel, the Grand Brighton Hotel was famous for its outstanding service. And it had several advanced engineering features, like the very first lift in England outside of London (called "ascending omnibus").
