Who Am I...

who am i? well nobody much, just a kid with a dream who’s stuck in a rut.

Credit Credit Credit

i need a credit card to build credit - no one wants to give me a credit card because i don't have credit.

am i missing something or are these companies not understanding what i'm saying... give me a credit card - i'll pay what i owe - & guess what, i'll begin to accumulate credit!

come on America, help a determined nineteen year old out!

i walked into the backroom of my job, and was greeted by this stunning photograph of Audrey Hepburn - i couldn't help but to take a picture. the scene, and placement of it was priceless!

after the dust storm (haboob) last night, there was a huge rain storm that followed. i tried to take a picture of it but as soon as i opened the garage door the heavy winds starting blowing all the rain my way, and i figured my camera getting water damage for a mediocre storm photo wasn't worth it.

to be accepted would be to neglect who i am

to bury myself as if i could no longer stand

i dont know about you but that's crossing a line

to shun my true being as if i have no worth

i like who i am although times i can be misleading

i've flawed, clawed, and brawled but its a part of this package

this was my first time getting the opportunity to drive through a dust-strom, haboob, whatever you want to call to call it, and it was awesome! looking at the photo i had to drive into the dust, and i think i enjoyed myself a little too much. im sure they have worst ones than this that probably aren't as enjoyable, but hey at least i get to scratch 'drive through arizona haboob' off of my to do list (btw; there's not literally a list).

Life.

life is truly unpredictable. for about the past month i've been planning on going back home (to California) to visit family & what not, and it seems like ever since i tried to turn that plan into reality everything that could stop me from purchasing a plane ticket has happened! i had to wait to get the days off i put in for at work approved by my employer, all of my money is unexpectedly going into my car. btw; that was nearly $1,000 -__- in a couple of weeks (not including gas - ugh), and i'm trying to do it "on my own" so i dont want to ask my dad to financially help me out... but i guess this is all apart of growing up, and living in the "real world". it makes you think about all the times adults would tell you to enjoy your childhood because you have your whole life to be grown. i was actually one of the youth who embraced that, because i'm a tad bit dependent on others, but man... it seems like you can have all the money in the world and never have enough because there's always something. life is always throwing you a curve ball and all you can do is deal with it. i've learned that there's no point in dwelling on things that i cannot change, all i can do is make the most out of the things coming my way...

...BUT regardless of anything, i will be taking this (what seems to be impossible) trip next month! i haven't been home in nearly 6months, and i'm not going to let a minor set back, make me step back.

To Be Young Again....

...as if i'm not still young! (?)

i would love to be given the opportunity to go back in time and relive my childhood. there's so many things that i would've done differently! like for one, i would have gone to school for the right reasons. with me the social aspect of school always outweighed the academic part of it, and now i realize that was extremely mad of me. when you look back at life i know for a fact everyone wishes they would have done something differently, and sure some people will say "i don't regret anything, i've learned from my mistakes", but lets be real - we all have a thing or two we would like to change about our past. it's kind of like when you're having an intense argument with someone, and once it's over and think about what just happened you get a little upset and say "man, i could have said ____!", but you get over it in a second, and i guess that's what i'll do. all i can do is continue living, and progress a little more everyday. regardless of where i've been or what i've put myself through, the sky is still the limit.

"Don't Judge Me"

it seems as if everyone wants to say “Don’t Judge Me” as if they’ve never judged someone before. truth is we all judge, i just really don’t have a problem admitting it…

is judging others right? absolutely not, but do we do it? certainly.

so why do so many people feel the need to say “don’t judge me” as if those three words are going to protect you? i don’t get it. if you tell me not to judge you i’ll respond saying “sorry, but i already did.” and i’ll feel no shame by it.

they say don’t judge a book by cover… but in order for me to read a book it better have some type of attraction to its cover.

Moral of the Story: You Judge Me, I Judge You. Take A Deep Breathe, And Go Ahead And Be You.
