EXCEPT, like all computerized editing help, this one makes mistakes, and if you blindly rely on it, it will fail you.  Did you spot the error in this passage?  Unless the person speaking is actually trained in “gorilla” warfare, which would be a weird specialty, I’m assuming the writer meant “guerrilla” warfare.  It’s not the program’s fault it didn’t catch the mistake - “gorilla” is spelled properly, after all.  It’s just the completely wrong word.  People make better editors than computers.

I know I’m never here anymore.  Two jobs and all that get in the way of too much social media-ing.  But so many of you remain in my heart and mind, and I am thinking of you as we all watch this shit show unfold.  We can get through this, somehow.  YOU can get through this, somehow.  I don’t see it yet either, but I know it’s true.  We can survive this and fight this and be sad and angry and terrified together.  Everything is horrifying right now, and might be for a long time, but we can do this.  Somehow.

Surprising absolutely no one, @redwrenwalking and @doyouthinkimspoopy are utterly delightful human beings.  It was super good to meet them in real life.  Also the indigo girls put on a great show, and Lucy Wainwright Roche, their opener, was a freaking delight.  Like, for real.  Basically, Tuesday evening was a really good time.
