My wife asked for a picture of the boys for her birthday. It may be a month late but it got done! Unfortunately, the more kids I have, the less time I have to paint them. I spent several months trying to catch them with a candid camera, an di only got a couple usable images. Every time I take the kids to the grocery store, they get to choose a treat as long as they behave. This is concept work for my webcomic Etherwood, which is early-releasing here: www.patreon.com/JWABeasley. The goal here is to show a community that uses far less petroleum, favors traditional building materials, and has adopted eco-friendly habits and materials. It should also be beautiful and human-centric... with enough room for plenty of adventures! Technologies shown: Narrow brick streets instead of wide asphault, heat pumps, solar water heaters, truck with a wood gasifier, double-paned windows. I didn't use solar panels or windmills because the town has a hydroelectric dam less than a mile away. How did I do? Is there something I should include that is missing here? I recently watched all of #arcane and really enjoyed it. It's well-made, but unfortunately everyone I know seems to have heard it was good but didn't see it, which means I can't talk to anyone about it.
