“Sweet Fleet“, 2020. Nick and Judy has apparently been drafted, and hijinks follow...!

Story behind the pic: I found one of my old Retrotopia-sketches as I cleaned out my computer, and I decided to finish it with a more updated look. Rather than modeling it after the earlier ones, which took inspiration from old black and white cartoons, this one is more based on the titlecards of animated shorts from the 40s and 50s. While I can’t say I copied the style flawlessly, I am happy with the more expressive, retro redesigns of Nick and Judy.
